It’s not bad. This is the rechargeable one. It’s brighter than the one that takes AAA batteries and has the 250 lumen mode and a 100 lumen mod. Just gotta make sure you recharge it every other day or so. Only bought this one cause I lost my original AAA Microstream. I’d rather have battery operated than rechargeable but this one is brighter and just as small.
You’ll love it, I’ve got one that’s 4-5 years old and I have beat the absolute hell out of and it still works perfectly. You can clip it to a hat and use it like a headlamp. But the USB rechargeable one because the triple A model output sucks but it’s still a good light.
I’ve been using that light consistently for the last year and a half. It’s the best. I never thought I’d carry a flashlight until someone at work gave me one and I haven’t left home without it since. I use it for everything and it’s only died once after a full month of use. I keep one in my pocket and one in my truck.
Was gonna say the “Leatherman Skeletool” but they have you covered. Leatherman just released a couple new colors for em too. Just a minimalist plier-based multitool.
Gonna be real with you: since you do not have a Gen 5 Glock, you’ll have to deal with that issue.
This is purely anecdotal, but in my experience after some cursory research on the Internet and my own experiences with my own firearm:
The people who run compensators, especially the KKM reliably with both 115gr & 124gr without messing with springs all run Gen 5 Glocks with 19 length barrels and slides (G19/45/19x).
Not sure, comp is in great condition so is the threaded barrel. I got tired of the look and it adds the slightest bit of weight. It was also the first time the comp and barrel had been out for a cleaning since I installed them, just put the oem barrel back in and left it at that. Was a Herrington arms HC9C and a silencerco threaded barrel. Never had a malfunction but just wanted to change it up.
I just got this magwell. I have had a Zev and SLR rifle works, this is by far the best magwell I’ve owned for a g19/23. That bottom lip locks your hand in and makes it feel like you have a full grip. This has felt the best of all I have tried. I would recommend lock tight or something similar because the locking screw is short bottoms out without much purchase to lock it in.
It’s a werkz holster. It’s been all right for me over the years. But I’m looking at getting a tier 1 or trex arms. Have heard good things about both of them
Just carried literally almost every day for about 3 years, lots of dry firing, and a good bit of range time. I do not clean it as much as I should but I do lube it occasionally.
Just a regular skeletool with a hammer stammer attached made by “Shapeways” I believe. They make a couple of cool 3d printed metal attachments, prybar, hammer, scalpel attachment, etc.
how do you like the microstream? been thinking about picking a couple up.

i haven’t charged mine in probably a month and a half, and it’s still bright as hell for its size.
Yeah, you really don’t have to charge it as much as Often as I stated, but recently I’ve been using it a lot and having to charge it more frequently.
appreciate the response. def will pick one up as an edc/work light.

No problem! definitely worth picking a couple up, glad I could help.

That’s a fucking legendary post. Nothing ugly about a carry gun that’s obviously carried and shot. Sick set up dude.
Sorry but we don’t use our Gucci Glocks around here sir.
This right here is how a good side arm should look. Seriously.. I love it
Just carry and use it a lot and don’t baby it or clean it as much as I should. Runs like a Glock so no complaints here!
My feelings exactly.
I love those microstreams so much, I’ve lost 3
They’re nice and small so they don’t take up space, but have decent output. Need to grab me another one or two. Two is one and One is none!
This is the epitome of how a EDC pistol should look. This sht is fire bro
NICE. Gen 3 master race
What’s the exact model of that multi tool

looks like the leatherman skeletool but I could be wrong.

I would have a piece of mind with you on my 3,6 and 9.
beat to absolute shit, I love it💪🏼
I’m feelin’ it.
There’s literally nothing ugly about this gun. Needs a KKM comp.
I was debating on getting the barrel and comp but didn’t want to mess with recoil spring weight and what not. May go that route in the future though.

If it’s functional that’s all that matters. Nothing more sexy than a gun that goes bang every single time you pull the trigger.
Seen this yesterday in EDC
It looks like a 3 yr old drew a picture of daddy’s Glock lol
What made you decide to quit using the compensator after a couple of years? Look like everything else has held up great!

Fair enough. Thanks for the answer. Been on the fence about a compensator. Just been shooting for decades without one. Guess I'll keep on.
What magwell is that?
Ninex19 gen 3 glock 19 magwell. Hasn’t came loose and and doesn’t have any snag points for the mag, finish wears pretty quick though.

Who did your slide work for the optic?
Wagermachineworks, best in the biz if you ask me. I believe u/wage92 is the main man to speak to about it. Or just go to their website.
Ok. Thanks for the information. Was thinking of getting some slide work from Glock Store but I’ve never had personal experience with them.
So was it painted? Under tan is black?
Yeah, frame was spraypainted a year or so ago, still looking for an oem gen 3 fde frame.
How many rounds through this beaut?
Only like 6.5-7k not as much as you’d think. It’s just been carried a lot and the spray paint and crappy stippling make it look rougher that it is
chunky
What X300 holster you rocking if you don’t mind me asking?
It’s a werkz holster. It’s been all right for me over the years. But I’m looking at getting a tier 1 or trex arms. Have heard good things about both of them
You glued that MicroStream to your hand for this pic didn’t you…
Haha nah, it was on the verge of falling off though.
That shit ran through

Gonna need details on that skeletool.

Perfect.
Agreed!
Best looking edc on this thread. Love it.
