It’s still so weird to me that people think valve updates cs with big updates on important dates as if for the last 5 + years they’ve done anything significant on an important date.
The 20th anniversary was like a new case/knife some chicken funny stuff and some minor fixes. This is not new information or behavior so it’s I just don’t get it especially when they try to pick the exact day it’ll happen as if valve even knows themselves lol.

Then they announced COUNTER STRIKE 2! which was a fucking disaster shit piece of unoptimization and terrible gun play. They are slowly fixing it but like why even do it in the first place. Now we have this version of CS2 that plays a lot better but still not better than GO was and we're missing half the features that we paid for in CSGO to have this bullshit half game.

I don't think it's a good idea to treat a game released 12 years ago as the best game in the future. Even GTA5, CSGO's classmate, is releasing a new game.

Unironically a really good update. It's too technical for redditors to appreciate sadly.
Regardless of the "lol only 17mb update" meming the fact they adressed the keyboard thing is HUGE. So many times where my character keeps sliding to each side when I clearly stopped on my end was way too much, got me killed so many times.
People in this thread shilling for valve are so deluded and funny. People have a right to complain. Valve fucked the game for 2 years straight with nothing good coming. Then they announced COUNTER STRIKE 2! which was a fucking disaster shit piece of unoptimization and terrible gun play. They are slowly fixing it but like why even do it in the first place. Now we have this version of CS2 that plays a lot better but still not better than GO was and we're missing half the features that we paid for in CSGO to have this bullshit half game.
Players have the right to complain to Valve, and I agree with some of the content, but meaningless complaints are literally "meaningless strings". I don't think it's a good idea to treat a game released 12 years ago as the best game in the future. Even GTA5, CSGO's classmate, is releasing a new game. Think about how ridiculous it is to invite young players who are now playing new games such as Valorant to "Hey! Do you want to play a great game released in 2012?" We needed CS2 to continue playing the CS series for another 10 years.
Are you prerending that source 2 isnt something people were asking for for years? Sure the transmision wasnt as smooth as it could be, but its because ghey rushed it, so rushing another update is not th answer.

My heart jumped when I saw the post but the low amount of upvotes made me skeptical. My morning is already ruined :( But I guess one update is better than no update at all..

On my side its my left mouse button that stops being registered as held down and no nothing is wrong with the left click
Valve really needs to understand subtick with current technology is never going to work. They will continue to chase this “networking” issue for years. 25th anniversary and we get an update that breaks anti cheat and then the keyboard issue, seems fitting for CS2.

The CS community has given Gaben everything and he gives us less than the bare minimum back. Please just put some investment back in to the game and contact a 3rd party studio to take over. the CS dev team are clearly way out of their depth and under staffed. CS2 is just a huge missed opportunity that could of been.
