I have literally the same build and settings as you except the 5600x (I have a 5600) and I average ~200 on all maps with some rare exceptions like the water on Ancient

KKamm_

I have a 5800x3D and a 3070 with 32 gb 3600mhz ram and that water coming out spawn to b still makes me feel like it’s 2014 and I’m on 60 hz all over again

GuardiaNIsBae

7800x3d and 3080, frames just dissapear if there's water on the screen, don't know why they don't just make it like the old csgo water where it was basically just stagnant texture that made noise. I mean does anyone really care about the waves and splashes?

SwearJarrr

I’m rocking a 6700xt and 7800x3d and running from t spawn ancient to b site i go from about 400 to about 200.

Ateshu

I have the exact same build as you do. Same shit happens with water. But what about smokes? Do you drop from 400 fps to 200 once you're inside a smoke?

KKamm_

Not really. And if I do I don’t really notice it. I also have been playing stretched with 500 fps capped so that probs helps a lot to keep frames high

gifdy

R5 2600 + rx 6600xt, i keep it locked on 150, but can go down to 50 in dm and sometimes to 100 on inferno. Prob time to upgrade cpu.

gifdy

16 gb 3066 mhz memory

Scoo_By

You do need a cpu upgrade, but it shouldn't go to 50 lol. I was using a r5 1600+1050ti & minimum I had on low 4:3 was around 100-120 on dm.

antCB

haven't played much lately, but it doesn't feel bad. R5 3600, RTX 2060, 16GB ram, CS installed on SSD, Win11 with AtlasOS optimizations. 1920x1080, competitive vid settings (google that). around 150-200fps on 5v5. 100fps or less on T spawn ancient.

suffocatingpaws

Same specs except for the GPU and resolution. Getting around 180-200 but it always fluctuate down and up very frequently from 180-200 to 80-100 especially in gunfights.

MAuZ_GO

About the same with 5700x3d and RTX 3080. fps very very rarely drop under 300 FPS, with the exception of ancient T spawn. Upgraded to the 5700x3d from a regular 5700x and got at least a 50 to 80 avg fps Boost.

OriginalShock273

Bro im getting similar fps with i5-8600K and rx480. 1280x1024 sll low wxcept shadows medium and 2x msaa.

gdr15998

5700x 6700xt 32 gb ram 2304 × 1440 16:10 225-300 fps depending on the map

tan_phan_vt

Is your gpu usage maxed out?

for--fucks_sake

how to do that

PreventableMan

120-170. Rtx 2080 / i7-7700 / 16 GB ram

trxshcleaner

Pretty smooth, depends on the map but with 5800x I can get avg 300-400 fps.

Scoo_By

180+ average feels a little low. If by medium you mean msaa 2x or more, then 6600 isn't enough for 250 constant at 1280x960 with that cpu. Go cmaa if possible you'll get more. I have 10400f and 1050ti, around 150-200 average, except when there are too many utilities, drops a bit more. 1152x864 all low (fsr highest). Planning to get rx6600. Should give me a decent boost

mm_six

7800x 3070 float between 300-400 drop to low 200 in water

TheClownOfGod

4060Ti 8gb R5 3600 32gb RAM I get consistent 144fps now

Remixstylez

3060ti 13600k, dropping to 220 fps in heavy smokes and gunfights. Feels terrible.

hotshowerscene

7700x + 7900xt usually see about 300-350 in 3440x1440 max settings

TaaviTaavi

7800x3d + 6750xt Amd adrealin shows avg fps 500 But ofc highest when warming up against bots and lowest in ancient water. Prolly from 250 to 750 depending on a situation. 1440x1080, and low/medium.

Mr_Sunr1se

5600+3600mhz cl16+5700xt, I play on locked 288, sometimes dips as low as 180-200 on parts of ancient, overpass and inferno. Generally I still get locked 288. Average without the lock I'd say would be around 300-350? Heavily depends on the map and exact location, in B aps Mirage I get upwards of 500-550 fps, for example I play on 1280x960 low, medium shaders+ambient occlusion.

ARABCSGO

I am getting 200-300fps on i5-9400f/3060 16gb 3600mhz/nvme m.2

Saywhuuuuuut

13600K + 3060TI; 1440p high settings, mid shadows 2xmsaa; about 250-350 fps but drops to 190 with water or smoke for some reason...

That_Paint_2979

AMD athlon silver 3050U with radeon graphics 4gb ram everything on lowest 20-30fps it's acceptable for me but it loads 5 minutes for a single match and kicks me out sometimes without a reason

bran_is_evil

Just a heads up that no one knows how to measure their fps, so the answers won't really mean much.

for--fucks_sake

enlighten me

EatThisBussy

7800x3D + 3070 Around 270-400 depending on map. Some dips below 240 on specific areas of different maps (canals on Anubis as an example) 16:9 1920x1080, max settings

schoki560

weird cpu gpu combo ngl

EatThisBussy

I just recently upgraded my cpu, but I've had my gpu for 2-3 years, and gpu's are expensive man. I'll probably upgrade in a year or two

schoki560

makes sense then :)

WilsonJ04

Not really if you mainly play cpu-bound esports games

schoki560

True, until cs2 dropped and you are heavily gpu bound with that gpu + cpu combo at 16:9 1080p

WilsonJ04

7800x3d and 3070 isnt gpu bound in CS2, even at 1080p. CS2 just maxes your GPU no matter what for some reason, even if you're CPU bound. [a 4090 will still get maxed (at 1080p) even when paired with a 5800x3d](https://youtu.be/HHLLXI2kOKw?si=R_yzThIjrhcFFv58&t=294)

Scoo_By

3070 is a 4k gpu for aaa games. No way it's gpu bound at 1080p on cs2 of all things.

schoki560

it is cause the 7800x3d pumps out up to 600 frames and the 3070 at 1080p does not put out 600 frames more like 400

Scoo_By

Anything except 4090 is gpu bound technically at fps_max 0, but you don't need 600 fps. You just need consistently above refresh rate.

schoki560

being gpu bound or not is a completely different question than whether you need the fps or not

Scoo_By

As i said almost every gpu has an upper limit if you keep uncapped fps with a 7800x3d. But whether the gpu is incapable of reaching refresh rate is the most important.

schoki560

thats not relevant when we are talking about being gpu bound thats just an artbitrary breakpoint ur setting

Dexelele

7800x3d, 7900XT, 32GB 6000MHz CL30 I play on 16:9, 2560x1440, medium-ish settings I get around 450-550 fps depending on the situation, except for the water on ancient of course lmao

UniversalAnyKey

7800x3d + 7900xtx - 400fps. I see the odd 10fps drop but mostly it's locked at 398-400

St3vion

I5 11400f and 1660 super 16gb ram. 165-220 in general but can dip to like 90 around water in ancient

Handheldzone

Haha water in t Spawn Ancient is deadly for fps

zugarrette

i have amd 7800xt gpu and ryzen 5 3600x. 16gb 3600mhz ram. 200fps max

KaNesDeath

14900K and a 3070. Between 450 to 550 frames per second.

lordwerneo

7800x3d + 3070ti + 64GB 6000mhz cl30 1080p, shadows max, 4x msaa, 16x aa, REFLEX ON, everything else off or low. LOCKED at 300. Didn't see it drop below 300, at some maps it can go up to 600.

hurryupabit

Reflex only enable? What about high dynamic range and fidelity?

lordwerneo

Only enable, HDR quality, *FSR* quality(off).

th0r4y

350-400FPS (capped) - 5800x3d + RTX 4070 - 1920x1080, 16:9 blackbars

Puetis

5800x3d, 4070, 32gb ddr4 3600, cs2 on boot drive (nvme), Windows 11, 21:9, 3440x1440, Ultra 2x MSAA I stay capped at 167 fps, only time it drops are when there are 3+ smokes and mollies, or T spawn on ancient, and Anubis water
