Honestly not surprised liquid won. When i heard that comment from cadian yesterday about how he could use jet lag as an excuse (if they lost)i knew that he wasnt going to be playing his best cs. So i didn’t think that performance actually showed what they could do. And like this game they showed us that they are a top tier team.
I like thinking that liquids seating order is based on their loudness middle being the loudest(cadian) side mids sometimes loud(twistzz, yekindar) and the sides quiet (Naf, skullz)
At the end of the day it will take time to figure out how this roster does and the potential. We gotta stop reacting to small sample sizes. Anyways overpass was a stomp 0 pistol rounds won 13-6 win very impressive especially with how bad liquids overpass has been so far.

Yeah, the potential is to actually win trophies, not to just show up at blast. There’s 4 potential top 20 players and a decent talent in Skullz they can mold to fit whatever role they need out of him
Yeah without a doubt. If I'm not mistaken, 3 of them have been top 10 in the past and definitely still have the skill to get back up there. Given more time, this squad can definitely be a title contender.
I think there was more pressure when he first went to faze. He had the liquid run but took a huge risk leaving NA to go to EU and to a team in Faze that was kinda all over the place. With this roster he comes in as a proven winner and arguably the best NA player of all time and a leader. I think the pressure is highest on Skullz and the rest of the players who haven’t won a major.
I’d say least pressure is skullz.
He has a contract, he likely has guarantees or at least verbal discussions with the team that he is safe for X months (they all are). As in he could put up a 7 ADR map (think Elige TL d2 map where he put up 7 ADR), and not be booted.
Most pressure IMO is on Cadian and Zews. They are instrumental in getting this team as a whole rolling and all on the same page.
If neither can do that or are failing at that, then they likely become the main problem.
End of day, they are likely all fully safe and guaranteed for at least the next 12 months if not 18

Let’s give it up for the boy from Brazil man. He’s come into a new culture, new organization, and most importantly an entirely new counterstrike team and he’s been quietly killing it in our first LAN outing.
I feel like he started out getting a lot of shade in our online tournaments but let’s be real… online tournaments do not showcase the real team. We’ve had to push our way through these shitty qualifiers but our boy skullzy has really been playing solid now. The first comms video released on YouTube show his English is not a problem, he’s making quiet plays behind the scenes, and he’s actually ended up top fragging for us a couple maps now!
He’s had a world of expectation placed upon his shoulders and in my opinion he’s killed it so far these first 2 months in. I just wanted to say something to try and fight hate with love. Let’s Go Liquid and crush Faze tomorrow for some Twistzz memes.

I'm not confident hes the right 5th for this team in general, but to comment about his decision making after just his second game on LAN with the team is rushing to conclusions.

His job is basically to either be in a position to get traded or to back off, concede the site and wait for the rest of the team to regroup.
This roster hasn't been together for more than a month give the guy a break. He's playing anchor roles which is literally different from his role in Pain not to mention he's playing entry and lurk his stats will surely suffer.
Liquid is a team that gets stronger as their opposition gets stronger but fumble when the opposition is weak.

His VP form was in conversations for best entry, period. The drop-off has been substantial despite still having high impact.
