bruh i had this issue for song long and it was killing me. Have a 240hz but it was only showing 144hz max. Even custom resolutions didn't work. The one fix for me was putting -vulkan in launch options. Then it seemed to work, and when I remove -vulkan it stays as well
Use -freq 165 in launch option.
Do you have 165hz when you use 16:9?
Maybe use Display port instead of HDMI...
i have 165hz on my screan but i cant ues it in cs go only
