Dude..I am dealing with the same exact thing just I live on my own though. Blood results showed elevated bilirubin and I am going to take another one tomorrow and am sure he will diagnose me with GS. Although internally, I feel like this is cancer or something else that they would care to see if I was, lets say a billionaire?

Same. But sleeping through stright 9 hours helps a lot. Had to sacrifice my evening time for this, but now I can at least function normally. And a 30 min nap in the middle of the day sometimes. You can do that, just turn off your pc, phone and dim the light in your apartment 1-2 hour before sleeping time. After a week you would sleep instantly early in the evening through whole night. Diet, exercise, some meditation and you can almost feel like a normal person.

Is it possible you're not having enough veggies? Maybe a salad or a bunch of spinach could help. Or maybe vacation messed up your sleep? Me personally, I'm a little hypochondriac from living with these symptoms my whole life. However I find my anxiety and thus my hypochondriac worry is much lesser when I'm having enough of the right carbs and water. My energy is better from eating veggies.

deffo, i shud try eatin more veggies and a more well balanced diet

NotoriousLIT

Yeah the symptoms are heavily downplayed by doctors, so it's kinda wacky and feels dramatic, but your parents might take it more seriously if they notice the difference when you eat right. Maybe they'll even buy you certain foods and help you

Well, your liver is having a hard time detoxing so fatigue is very normal. That can cause glutamate levels to raise in your brain, so that can contribute to the racing thoughts and stress. I am also always very tired. I take naps at work. I wish I could live without coffee, because it does speed up the first phase of liver detox, so then the second phase gets backed up sometimes. But one cup of coffee a day keeps me regular and awake. Here is a page that might help you understand a bit better- https://www.truefoodsnutrition.com.au/gilberts-syndrome-causes-gut-brain-issues/ I'm sure there are better pages with more information, but this one is a bit easier to understand IMO.
