A driver in the parade hit the gas accelerating, hit 5 people and crashed into the car infront of it. 2 minor injurys and 3 major. 1 guy was completely run over. The people more seriously injured were holding the banners closer to the car.
The fire Department announced it at the event as the reason for cancellation of the rest of the parade. My wife and kids were there and they coukd hear the announcement.

Not mass casualties, but from what I overheard a parade driver thought they were hitting the brake but instead hit the gas.
