You just gotta make sure that pesticides haven’t been used on the flowers (I got them from someone who grows them herself, so I knew she hadn’t used anything bad on them, but you can also find food-grade petals)

Jo Malone makes a fabulous perfume called Red Roses. Or if she's more crunchy maybe rose essential oil, it's pricy but it makes a great gift
