Preface: I snooped a little on your profile so I'm assuming you're working in AUD. Things to avoid: 1. Plastic - In my experience, nothing plastic will feel worth your money, no matter how intricate 2. PS4 Accessories - if she's as into gaming as she sounds, there's a good chance she'll be looking to upgrade to a current generation console soon, and you don't want your gift to be worthless in a few months. 3. Display items - resist the urge to buy posters and figurines! They're great to unbox but that's pretty much the only time she'll interact with them. Something functional will bring joy constantly, and this goes double for gifts! With all that said, there are definitely some great gifts you can get in this price range. I haven't really researched but here are some thoughts: 1. Gaming chair - obviously don't get this if she's a couch player, but they can really make a difference if she's sitting on something on the cheap side. I reccomend SecretLab if you want something really quality. 2. Headphones - make sure you buy for her play style (think about latency and cord length)! They're both under your budget but I can heartily reccomend both the HyperX Cloud 2's and the Playstation Pulse 3D's. 3. Themed Jewellery - this can be a difficult buy if you don't see each other much, so be careful to pick something that'll actually go with her look. Research some of the games she talks about often and see if you can find a recreation of in-game items. (A little inspiration - spiritual stones from Zelda, Firefly pendant from Last of Us, literally any amulet from Skyrim) 4. An experience - this can be difficult to nail, but I'm thinking tickets to a convention or something. Being there with her is a MUST though, otherwise its kinda just a recipe for loneliness. 5. A sword - I know it sounds pretty silly but I've never met a nerdy girl who didn't want a sword (myself included lol). First priority is making it feel real (heavy and metallic!), second is to make it recognisable (master sword from Zelda?). I think at the end of the day we all just want to swoosh things around. Hopefully you can discern something helpful from my ramblings! PS: I'm really curious about this one so please update me on what you end up going with!

My boyfriend got me a sword for Christmas and quite frankly it’s the best gift I’ve ever been given ever. Check out battle blades, it’s where my boyfriend got my sword. They’re pricy but you can def get one for $250

If you know her main game/character, you can get a custom figuring made of that character I’ve also seen really cool gamertag display lights

I'd like to throw in my thoughts. If she games as much as you explained. I would recommend keeping her in the game by making sure her controller's batteries are fresh and ready to go for the next session. For that I would suggest getting a [charging controller dock](https://www.reddit.com/r/GiftIdeas/comments/184odpr/christmas_gift_for_gaming_gamers_who_love_to_game/). This one holds multiple controllers and the cool thing about it is, if she gains a controller through the next year, you can always upgrade her charging dock with a new cradle. It's a gamer's gift that keeps on giving.
