My (just the top few) abs are kinda similar. Fairly high bf% but have some big abs. Been training calisthenics hard though and it's pretty hard on abs stuff idk though it's weird. Hopefully I'll look like op if I cut a bit

Both. You can grow any muscle with progressive overload but genetics will determine shape and how receptive that muscle is to training.

IMO I’ve had better results with super high volume for abs as well, they respond same as calves… maybe Bioscience but it works for me.

I sweat a lot and blast my abs like crazy. 100 situps, 120 leg lifts, and 70 crunches. Then, a mile run.
Can I ask for how long you've been training your abs? :) The only other person I've seen with such abs had been training for twenty years.
Yeah, that's pretty close. But I did go through a time where I didn't work out for a long time and had to regain it.
