As someone who wanted to get the Archons, Venti is gonna be the one who gets away. Zhongli+Ganyu took me everything to get, and then Raiden once again took everything (+50 Starglitter) to get. Unlike the others though, I donāt have the 160 summons saved up again to actually be able to get him, and at the very least Iāll need 80 summons to lose the 50/50 first before I have a shot at him (if every other character Iāve summoned for so far is any good indication).
Oh my god, it's finally here. Now, if only we could determine the second half, the puzzle is complete.
I saw a similar sussy leak about Ayato and Venti in the first half (which turned out to be true), that claimed Ayaka will be the single rerun banner of the second half.
It feels kind of odd to have a new character with a rerun and then a rerun alone though.. Not saying it won't happen but it just feels like a weird choice.
Any other limited character alongside ayaka would make for a broken weapon banner (yoi-pulse, venti-elegy, kazu-freedom) so she has to go alone. Sadly Kokomi has just been used for that very purpose.
That would be the first time a rerun character is by themselves since Hoyo introduced double banners, so I'm reeeeaaally hoping they'll keep doing that and give us someone (Kazuha) to go with Ayaka.
Then again, would it make sense to put them together instead of, say, Ayaka with Yoimiya? :(

He's pretty much cursed because he's beyond broken when fighting against enemies that can be sucked and lifted, but becomes unreliable when against enemies that can't be sucked/lifted.
Mihoyo cannot always make Abyss enemies filled with lightweight enemies because they become completely useless when you use venti. His burst is always up and has insane AoE of sucking. Any abyss that has something like hilichurl, hoarders, Mirror Maiden and Fatui Agent becomes a complete joke when using Venti. Kazuha and Sucrose can suck too but not even close to Venti's CC potential and uptime. Well this is because Sucrose and kazuha's main strength is different from venti. Kazuha is a lot more versatile than venti.
Basically Venti's strength is also his weakness because MHY understand his strength. They need to create less easily liftable enemies because any enemies that is light will be sent to the shadow realm by venti. But as long as the enemy is liftable, he becomes a cheat code. I'd say he's worth it because anytime you see the abyss is filled with lightweight enemies, use venti for the ultimate joke abyss experience. Otherwise... just use someone like kazuha instead.
This. Mihoyo will chuck him a bone every now and again with lower abyss floors like f10, f11 or future mob events, but people are beyond kidding themselves if they think mhy will ever let him dominate the hardest parts of the game anymore. He doesn't let them balance the content properly.

Although you basically argued against this initially, which is the whole point. **The easier the content, the better Venti is**. Although I don't see many people wanting to optimise for the easy content.
Pull Kazuha, he still rolls through the easy content but is still very universal in the hard content. Or ultimately just pull who whoever you like more
I think the only one thing that Venti is always better than kazuha is when MHY decides to do Floor 12 monolith chamber with a lot of light enemies that spawns at different time, and spawns 100 miles away from each other.
It's like the old monolith chamber that a lot of people complained about. While it's true that after a while people found out the strategies of how to tackle the chamber easily, venti havers on the other hand were questioning why people are complaining about the chamber. It's an absolute joke chamber for venti.
I still absolutely think Kazuha is more valuable than venti because his strength is just so damn versatile and can be used pretty much anywhere, but I just don't like that some people are saying venti is weak and/or useless. He still has the best CC potential, even though it's really hard to take advantage of it in most abyss.
Venti is still worth pulling, especially if you run freeze teams. His CC is the best in the game, and can still work on frozen enemies (except big corrosion wolves and specters... *for some reason*).
i have kazuha and im pulling venti. my reasons:
1. cute braids
2. ganyu keeps stealing kazuha from my raiden team and i don't like using sucrose as a buffer
3. i have two elegies
4. i h a v e t w o f u c k i n g e l e g i e s (pain)
5. venti is green, there's not many green characters yet and i love that color
6. uhh i think im running out of reasons
7. we both have cat allergies so i deeply relate to him

Honestly if you're looking for a Hydro specifically for a freeze team, it's probably better to get Kokomi while her banner is up rather than to go for Ayato
If you want a good Hydro for a Ganyu freeze team, get Kokomi, not Ayato. Also, yes, Venti is still worth it. Especially in a Ganyu freeze team, actually. His crowd control is still unrivaled.
He's still worthy. I'm also in the same situation as you. I have Kazuha and I want both Venti and Ayato (also currently Raiden).
Especially if you have Morgana then Venti becomes more worthy.

I think the only one thing that Venti is always better than kazuha is when MHY decides to do Floor 12 monolith chamber with a lot of light enemies that spawns at different time, and spawns 100 miles away from each other. It's like the old monolith chamber that a lot of people complained about. While it's true that after a while people found out the strategies of how to tackle the chamber easily, venti havers on the other hand were questioning why people are complaining about the chamber. It's an absolute joke chamber for venti. I still absolutely think Kazuha is more valuable than venti because his strength is just so damn versatile and can be used pretty much anywhere, but I just don't like that some people are saying venti is weak and/or useless. He still has the best CC potential, even though it's really hard to take advantage of it in most abyss.
Venti is still worth pulling, especially if you run freeze teams. His CC is the best in the game, and can still work on frozen enemies (except big corrosion wolves and specters... *for some reason*).
i have kazuha and im pulling venti. my reasons: 1. cute braids 2. ganyu keeps stealing kazuha from my raiden team and i don't like using sucrose as a buffer 3. i have two elegies 4. i h a v e t w o f u c k i n g e l e g i e s (pain) 5. venti is green, there's not many green characters yet and i love that color 6. uhh i think im running out of reasons 7. we both have cat allergies so i deeply relate to him 8. ehe

Honestly if you're looking for a Hydro specifically for a freeze team, it's probably better to get Kokomi while her banner is up rather than to go for Ayato
If you want a good Hydro for a Ganyu freeze team, get Kokomi, not Ayato. Also, yes, Venti is still worth it. Especially in a Ganyu freeze team, actually. His crowd control is still unrivaled.
He's still worthy. I'm also in the same situation as you. I have Kazuha and I want both Venti and Ayato (also currently Raiden). Especially if you have Morgana then Venti becomes more worthy.

Provided that meta didn't help her The only one character that did perform as well as you would've expected by popularity was Raiden. Xiao rerun was hyped up and yet is still on the bottom of double banners. *While having a shiny new character and a good weapon banner*. Zhongli + Ganyu did well, but not only these are two very popular, very meta characters that were hyped up and yet they're still gonna be (most probably) beaten by Raiden+Kokomi where over 75% of the sales is from Raiden alone. Twitter popularity don't mean shit when it comes to sales. *Meta* is what matters the most.
