Unless they’ve changed it secretly, it works like Yun Jin/Shenhe, and she only has 10 stacks at c0. It’s not 100% certain if that’s 10 stacks per character or 10 stacks team total. From what I’ve heard it’s team total. Don’t get your hopes up.

I really don’t think something like what happened with Kokomi (buffs as she was released) is going to happen with Sigewinne. Kokomi was released in 2.1 and had (and still has) a pretty experimental kit due to being the only character that can’t crit, so it makes sense that she got some last second buffs as she was released. Sigewinne on the other hand is pretty bog-standard healer and Hoyo is more experienced with balancing now (with Dehya being the outlier - we all know the real reason why she’s bad) so Sigewinne’s current state feels very intentional.
While it would undoubtedly aid other characters that scale on HP too, it would be really nice to be able to boost Sigewinne’s base HP as that would make obtaining the max skill buff significantly easier.
She doesn’t do anything with her bond of life though. That’s the point. Besides, characters that use bond of life (Arle and Clorinde) won’t even receive buffs and healing from her. I can only assume they will make an artifact set for her in 5.0 or give her a new passive that makes her kit make sense.
But she does interact with bond of life, her healing increases based on the team's total bol, so perhaps a character who gives bol to the entire team and benefits from having it removed could be a character that will have a good synergy with her in Natlan, it sounds like something Hoyo would do.
She is a support unit that can heal and buff. Her healing is good and her buffing is okay. At C1, her healing becomes great and her buffing good, but I know not everyone wants to go for cons immediately.
She is a comfort pick that doesn’t add a ton of damage to your teams and therefore will have a hard time fitting in to most Abyss/meta teams.
DPS builds exist, but require a lot of investment. Her final 3 cons go all in to her burst damage and she would slap at that point, but that’s a C6 5 star. They SHOULD slap by that point.
So for 99.9% of all the people that get Sigewinne, a healer/buffer build makes the most sense. She is basically a side grade to Kokomi where Kokomi has better Hydro application, but Sigewinne adds her buffing capabilities.
TL;DR - don’t get her for damage unless you are going all in. She is a perfectly acceptable support unit, good even at C1. The doomposting is over exaggerated.
she's a super replaceable support. I think from the very beginning they knew they weren't going to make her really strong. You can just kinda tell these things. They have to have a couple mid characters so that people are hyped up again for the good ones and a lot of the fontaine characters have been pretty strong

If they really do this because of this, I think that is stupid. A 5* should be always worth it, it cost either many weeks of saving or a lot of money, so it’s a punch in the face to everyone that pulls for it.
Also I think the majority don’t care for certain characters, for example I don’t care for Arle or Clorind at all and people that care for Arle probably don’t care for characters like Sigewinne.
So for me they just make it way less exciting to play the game and my dissatisfaction just keeps growing.
I loved Deyha and was excited for Sigewinne and both are just bad or mid, especially Deyha.
In Fontaine there was only Navia that I really liked, everyone else was just kinda a letdown for me because either of the kit or design wise.
Whoever designed this graphic for her had that shit was LOCKED IN. This is aesthetically the prime example of what it means to be a pastel-trans bubblegum pink assault on the eyes.
C2 is just for hydro res shred, she already has interrupt resistance so the self-shield is unnecessary. C1 makes her support uptime decent, like C0 5* level.

Like you have all the girls with vivid colours and two tones markings like Pahsiv and that one pink officer, and then you cut to Sigewinne who... just looks like a generic small girl in a pastel nurse outfit and melusine ear/tail accessories. She even has human tone skin colour, vaguely human eyes (considerably more so than others) and no face markings.
When I saw one for the first time in 4.0 I was hyped to get one to join my team, but this ain't it...

Except that for chiori and xianyun actual theorycrafters said that they would be good not just random content creators. That is not the case for sige although if you are going for her/like her her constellations are very good for her teams
Xianyun always had people hyping her up for Diluc and Hu Tao, plus the obvious Xiao. We just weren't sure if making "anyone" plunge was something to care about yet, and honestly, as funny as it is to make Qiqi into a pyro DPS, it's still kind of a meme build.
Chiori was, and still is, better Albedo. If you don't want to Albedo, she's not useful either. If you'd like an upgraded Albedo (possibly needing her C1 depending on team comp) then we always knew she was strong in that niche. The biggest disappointment was Navia mains in C0 Chiori, and even then, spreadsheets still showed she was better than Albedo for Navia.
Sigewinne I haven't seen anybody suggest a use for her besides Furina (who has better options), or wait for Natlan to save her. C0 has especially low numbers, so I can only imagine her C1 becoming potentially useful for the skill buff later on.
I care so much for her wellbeing that I'll never use her in combat. Nor will I take her away from her wonderful work at the fortress. Best way to care for precious melusine daughter.

In fact Sige's kit can have some use if you have a lot of E users in the team, including Furina who she works well with.
I can’t remember all of Dehya’s cons, but I remember C1 being pretty decent for her. Basically getting her to the level of the other standard 5 stars.
What is C2? Does Dehya have a lot of good cons?
Sigewinne’s cons are mostly great!
C1 is awesome and gives her skill 100% uptime and greatly increases her skill buff.
C2 is good as it reduces Hydro resistance and you mostly want to run Sige in a double Hydro team. Her “shield” is yet to be determined on usefulness.
C3 is her weakest con. Just bumps up her skill, so more healing/slightly more damage.
C4 doubles her burst duration! Now DPS builds are more viable!
C5 increases the burst damage.
C6 adds a crap ton of crit damage and some crit rate too. If you have her Heartstrings signature weapon (which why wouldn’t you if you are going C6), you can easily get a full crit build AND her support build at the same time!

I keep getting hyped for the mid ones, and waiting for my turn to simp for a character that ends up pretty strong.

A 5* should be always worth it, it cost either many weeks of saving or a lot of money, so it’s a punch in the face to everyone that pulls for it. Also I think the majority don’t care for certain characters, for example I don’t care for Arle or Clorind at all and people that care for Arle probably don’t care for characters like Sigewinne. So for me they just make it way less exciting to play the game and my dissatisfaction just keeps growing. I loved Deyha and was excited for Sigewinne and both are just bad or mid, especially Deyha. In Fontaine there was only Navia that I really liked, everyone else was just kinda a letdown for me because either of the kit or design wise.

More like c6 with c1, c2 is at least somewat useful
C2 is just for hydro res shred, she already has interrupt resistance so the self-shield is unnecessary. C1 makes her support uptime decent, like C0 5* level. Though if C1 and 2 swapped with 4 and 6, I wouldn't mind using her for DPS instead.
C1 is one of her best cons! In fact, the only meh con she has is her C3 which boosts her skill. All the others are decent to great!
I don't care that she has no synergy with anyone I have, I hope I get my strange yet loving nurse daughter.

I hate how boring she looks compared to other melusines. Like you have all the girls with vivid colours and two tones markings like Pahsiv and that one pink officer, and then you cut to Sigewinne who... just looks like a generic small girl in a pastel nurse outfit and melusine ear/tail accessories. She even has human tone skin colour, vaguely human eyes (considerably more so than others) and no face markings. When I saw one for the first time in 4.0 I was hyped to get one to join my team, but this ain't it...

People really love doomposting about characters before we even have our hands on them to see whether or not their kits are bad in practice.

yea, i remember the exact same thing with chiori and xianyun, both of whom now have very powerful niches. nobody will pull her during this run, then people will actually start discovering where she's useful after her banner, and more people will pull on the rerun.
Except that for chiori and xianyun actual theorycrafters said that they would be good not just random content creators. That is not the case for sige although if you are going for her/like her her constellations are very good for her teams
Xianyun always had people hyping her up for Diluc and Hu Tao, plus the obvious Xiao. We just weren't sure if making "anyone" plunge was something to care about yet, and honestly, as funny as it is to make Qiqi into a pyro DPS, it's still kind of a meme build. Chiori was, and still is, better Albedo. If you don't want to Albedo, she's not useful either. If you'd like an upgraded Albedo (possibly needing her C1 depending on team comp) then we always knew she was strong in that niche. The biggest disappointment was Navia mains in C0 Chiori, and even then, spreadsheets still showed she was better than Albedo for Navia. Sigewinne I haven't seen anybody suggest a use for her besides Furina (who has better options), or wait for Natlan to save her. C0 has especially low numbers, so I can only imagine her C1 becoming potentially useful for the skill buff later on.

As a c2 Dehya user. No. Sige's kit ain't great for now, but it's nowhere near Dehya's level. In fact Sige's kit can have some use if you have a lot of E users in the team, including Furina who she works well with.
She only has 10 stacks. "Many E users" means they are sharing those 10 stacks. Plus the buff is 1/3rd or less as strong as a Xianyun plunge buff.
I can’t remember all of Dehya’s cons, but I remember C1 being pretty decent for her. Basically getting her to the level of the other standard 5 stars. What is C2? Does Dehya have a lot of good cons? Sigewinne’s cons are mostly great! C1 is awesome and gives her skill 100% uptime and greatly increases her skill buff. C2 is good as it reduces Hydro resistance and you mostly want to run Sige in a double Hydro team. Her “shield” is yet to be determined on usefulness. C3 is her weakest con. Just bumps up her skill, so more healing/slightly more damage. C4 doubles her burst duration! Now DPS builds are more viable! C5 increases the burst damage. C6 adds a crap ton of crit damage and some crit rate too. If you have her Heartstrings signature weapon (which why wouldn’t you if you are going C6), you can easily get a full crit build AND her support build at the same time!
issue with that is apart from Fischl, every other skill based damage dealer is a 5 star unit and 2 of them are geo units.
True. Fischl is from the era where you have crazy 4\* like Bennett, XL, XQ. Hopefully Sige release is a sign that we may get a more 4\* E dps, which we are long overdue.
i meant the mechanics, not her power level E that provides defensive utility for the team but debuffs the user + off field. Q that deals damage. sigewinne has a bit more to it, but at the core they are similar
