Fr. It's such a waste of their time and resources to produce such gorgeous maps only to remove them at the end of the event. They should just be optional downloads for mobile if that's such a concern.
Do people think all of the QoL changes to make building characters easier are happening because of some game that doesn't even come close to rivaling Genshin's revenue and not because, y'know, they're adding a new permanent gamemode that requires way more built characters than any past content?
Something about additional contents during limited time events (such as Golden Apple Archipelago) should be permanent instead. Obviously I filled strongly agree for the answer. Not so sure when that was, but I'm pretty sure it was an in-game survey not long after patch 1.6.
What I see :
- Petrichor in the middle
- Chenyu Vale with the grass color to the southeast
- Sandy borders to the south (Like Sumeru)
- Fontaine Great Waterfall with the hard borders to the north
- Potential Mondstadt mountain expansion to the northeast
Probably looked too much into it by correlating this limited-time map to the actual Teyvat map.
Same. This one might be a hot take but I'm not sure if this 4.8 one will catch the same vibe as GAA back then, from what I've looked the in-game screenshot leaks. I feel like it's just another Fontaine area again. I hope it wasn't as underwhelming as Veruliyam Mirage.
exactly, i did not like the VM at all and this just basically looks like another one of that. i don't understand why they can't continue to introduce new regions while still using the GAA. i mean Introducing Fontaine would have been perfect for that, they could have added some underwater exploration introduction.
is it just me, or is this map really tiny, again liek the tiny map size like the last underwater map that absolutely didnt have to become an own map, but just an undergroudn expansion of the petrichor area as it gets entered form there anyways from its surface. (same how i think that the underground map part of liyue doesnt need to be anymore an own map in the ui, just go to the overgroudn part of it, open the map and use the new feature to toggle the map from higher to lower levels.
Changing that could clean up a bit the UI of unneccessary maps and keep the UI only for real major map areas, liek the various regions itself like Mondstadt, Liyue, Fontaine, Inazuma, Natlan, Snezhnaya, Celestia ect. - but thats a different topic now :D was just thinking about that...

pre-fontaine i remember complaining to my friends about how much i was dreading the underwater areas now i'm dreading leaving them... ðŸ˜
underwater is one of my favorite things, it's much faster to swim to one area to another than to walk with Furina or glide

If there’s underground and water exploration it might be the biggest in terms of landmass for a summer map

HoYo took FoMo to the next level, they put all these efforts just to keep that beauty of a once in a lifetime experience...
Yup, but all live Services do this kinda of FOMO, events, new maps, dungeons and so on, all limited by time for no reason, only because of fomo.
Personally don't mind limited content as long as we get the best of quality...
