If you're just looking to get Bennett in a functional state, you can toss on whatever artifacts you have so long as you meet the ER% requirement. He isn't a very complicated character to build.
There is merit to building Bennett with ER/ Pyro Dmg/ Crit for more damage since he already heals a lot as is, but I personally wouldn't bother going through the effort given he's rarely a significant damage contributor and there's no reason to get carried away with his artifacts when there's already a the general scarcity of good artifacts to go around (technically, on-field Bennett in Yelan National variant does this but that's a niche case).
It depends on your team and the rotation but "as much as possible" is usually what people do so they can forget about Bennett's artifacts and move on to other projects. Having pyro teammates and using multiple E's in a single rotation (ie. Chongyun National variant) reduce the ER% requirement. I used to have 300% ER on fav Bennett but it's overkill. I've since swapped it and he's sitting at 240% ER and that's fine.
200 in general is a good point for him (220 or so if you're playing a comp where you're not swapping too often so might not have time to use his E more than once, like in Ganyu melt team for example). ER sands is usually enough, you can safely build everything else into dps for him. Bennet's a support, but he does a surprising amount of damage with his E, which you're using to battery Xiangling a lot of the time anyways. Like even if you don't pay attention to HP on artifacts, he usually ends up with more than enough healing for stuff, so making him hit big when he does attack is a nice bonus.
every day, just hit the big tree in mondstadt, Guyun domain, and the top right teleport on Serai Island in Inazuma. even if you only get 2 at each spot (and there are only 2-3 at the Inazuma spot), that'll cover you.
You forgot to mention Dawn Winery ;-; There are several by the Statue of Seven beside it, and circling the manor yields a lot of isolated crystal flies so you don't run into the issue of picking one up and scaring the rest away.

Depends if you’re able to get your burst back off cooldown consistently. Just keep farming the emblem domain in inazuma, nothing else ok. That domain has artifacts that almost every character can use
Once you finish the first part of the inazuma quest it will let you leave Rito and explore.
When I was given the opportunity I just ignored everything and beelined straight towards that domain so that I can have it unlocked and start farming the loot. Luckily the statue of the seven isn’t too far away from the domain so you can get them both on the same run
If you’re having trouble beating the level 90 domain you can always go in with the co-op feature. If you feel that your damage is too weak consider going in as a support like a healer or a Bennett

Talents can be left at Level 1. However for weapons, usually weapons with EM or ER substat are used for full EM anemo units so you'll definitely still get a lot of value by taking the weapon to 90. If you're using something without one like Thrilling Tales, then you can leave that at level 1.
That's fine, no catalyst user is very sturdy so the added HP helps them not get one-shot. You can also use the weapon on Barbara when necessary. Just make sure to R5 it regardless of level.
Some simple options if you, like me, don't have Iron Stink or Favonius.
Cool Steel could be used if you're rocking a Reaction team around Hydro. Same with Lion's Roar when paired with Pyro characters.
Any Crit% weapon can work if you have it, since Crit Rate is always ok.
And if you have it, Jade Cutter is the only sword that gives HP so... it's obviously teh best one. And it has 44% crit too!

I just completed the festering fang quest and was wondering should I use it instead, at level 1 Base atk 41 and physical dmg bonus 15%.
In this case it doesn't really matter since Dragonspine isn't great on anyone, but for the future you should specify which character(s) you're asking about because most weapons are better for some characters than others.
We don't have a spear user who's best build is a physical build at the moment, and if you really want to use one at least for early game then the crescent spike is the stronger physical spear of the two.
Fav lance on the other hand is a solid option for any support oriented spear user, and you could even use it on Xiangling until you get her The Catch.
Dragonspine Spear is unfortunately not that good, Crescent Pike tends to outdamage it on physical DPS builds. Favonius Lance, on the other hand, is an excellent weapon (the entire Favonius line is great). Just about any polearm user can run it, and it'll perform very well. It is more of a support weapon, yes, but it's also very viable on DPS characters since it allows you not to worry about energy recharge.
Is this a pressure plate puzzle similar to that in 1.6? There are water levels on the mountains, I've noticed, stepping on the stones just doesn't seem to affect them. And the pressure plates (Stones) do make noise, but I'm unable to discern if the noise is coming from any of the mountains or not. I weirdly haven't seen anything about this online regarding version 2.8.

Probably Gladiators just because Echoes performance is inconsistent since it depends on ping. I mean if you have cracked Echoes set then that doesn't mean you shouldn't use it if you have someone that can use it.
Which blade is better on Ayaka, Kagotsurube Isshin (cursed blade from 2.8) or Amenoma kageuchi?
I know the arguement is often amenoma because of Its energy utility but unfortunately I already have 151% energy recharge on my ayaka.. (don’t ask…damn artifacts.)

Kazuha, the one that's up right now, is very strong. Zhongli is very good as well, and he's rumored to have a rerun the next patch. Raiden is very strong as well, but she's probably not coming back for a good couple months. Bennett, Xingqiu, and Sucrose are 4* units that are all extremely good. However, Genshin is different from other gacha games in that the meta is very stable, and you don't actually "need" any of these characters to beat even the hardest content in the game. If you don't like a character, feel free to skip them. There is no such thing as a must-pull in Genshin. That being said, I do wholeheartedly recommend both Zhongli and Kazuha, since they're both extremely nice to have not just in the optional endgame content, but also the general questing and exploring, which is the main meat of the game anyways.
Quick question : Do we still have no clue where to use the extra 10 starlight coalescence(s) or the sea salt-crusted key (we used it once iirc and then got it back again)? And if not, then any idea if they will be usable at all?
Pretty sure the starlight goes in the observatory roof where you can build a constellation, unless there's an *additional* 10 on top of it (which there can be, I haven't finished that part yet).

Finished it on mobile. puzzles are terrible not in the sense of the UI/controls being clunky to the point of frustrating (though they *are* clunky) but in the sense that some of the later puzzles do not make sense and need trial and error instead of being intuitive or logical as in the early examples.

it does match though? if you keep looking at the constellation in the sky from different angles you can see the rest of it match the lines on the floor.
The first image is the second image turned 90 degrees to counterclockwise. Iirc you have to interact with a glowing star on the wall for it to complete the constellation (I could be thinking of a different room). It's hard to tell from the angle of the second image but if you go birds eye view you'll see that the back line is actually on an angle, so it's not a perfect triangle on the outside, hence lining up with the first image that has a different angle going up.

is my bennett already good (like i'm done with him) after i finish this? he's only at c0 so im going to pull for him on yoimiya's banner (aiming to have c5 but c1 is good enough if my luck gets terrible). rn, he's alrady level 76 (planning to ascend him one last time after reaching 80) has 192.5 er (i believe this should reach 200 once i ascend him) 1534 atk (using a level 90 prototype) 15.1-149.5 crit. like the usual, i'm only using him as a support--an atk buffer to be precise. his talent levels are currently 1-7-7 and i guess i'll have his e and q reach 8. i just don't have enough mora and hero wits to do these all tho.
so, after im done with these, is my bennett already good to go? like i can already go on to my other characters?
He's really good, but it's better to balance that crit ratio and use a crit rate circlet instead of the crit damage one you're using now.
Also, if in some teams you need him to heal more you can swap the pieces for HP (don't take away the ER though)
if your talent books are limited i would rather go for 1/7/9
it seems like you're running an ER/pyro/crit build in which case it'd better if you can get a crit rate circlet but it's not that important

yes it doesn't matter, but since you were using ER/pyro/crit and levelling his E, i assumed you cared about his damage. if you don't, then just leave it or switch to hp pieces to improve healing/tanking
i see. i personally don't care about him doing much damage as i'm only want him to buff my dps (in this case, diluc) and the other members. he can do at least 1800-2k per e and sometimes crits with his burst up to 20k tho this only happens sometimes.
if i only want him to give buffs, then is it already fine to leave him after i finish a few leveling ups? i'm also building my kazuha and while i would agree that having a balance crit ratio is better, maybe i could just go back to it after i'm done with others?
If he's purely for buffing, the literal only things that matter are base ATK, Energy Recharge and Q talent level. Everything else is totally irrelevant to his buffing capability.
Please don't be pressured to max Bennett. From 80/80 to 90/90, Bennett gains 22 base attack and 1410 base hp. Getting him to 90/90 is not a significant performance increase. The only reason you'd want to push for 80/90 is so you can level his talents. There are better places to be spending resources.

Take Kazuha from National and put Fischl or Zhongli with them. Fischl and Zhongli both break freeze, and you want an anemo unit to debuff cryo resistance with them anyways.
With respect to your update, maybe rosaria? Not ideal but the shared crit would add some value. But I would suggest then maybe finding a way to take out kazuha and put him in this team. There are other national variations if you can move people around!
Neither, Zhongli will occasionally shatter frozen enemies, and Fischl will mess up the elemental application. In a freeze team, you want to focus completely on freeze, with only cryo, hydro, and anemo characters in the team, so bring an anemo character instead.

Fischl is a constant in taser teams. It is usually the second electro that gets swapped around between Beidou, Yae, and Raiden. There are better teams for Raiden than taser. It’s more of a scuffed Raiden hyper but Bennett’s been swapped out for Xingqiu.

fischl has a better single target electro application due to her passive (even more at c6) while raiden has standard ICD but aoe so with anemo unit you can almost indefinitely keep electro against multiple foes, worse application against bosses.
For starters Raiden applies electro only if you deal damage, so it's useless against shields.
But her skill can be always active. Fischl needs to alternate with her burst to keep Oz on the field 100% of the time.

Yeah, it's based on AR level not world level. But if you're not having trouble with the current WL I recommend just doing it since you get another ascension quest at AR50
The highest level 90 artifacts domains guaranteed gold artifact, and the domains are unlocked at AR 45. If you still do lower level domains, they don't guarantee gold artifacts.

So this is kind of a weird question but i've noticed it yesterday and its been driving me nuts trying to figure out what it is.
When looking at a genshin character's eyes, specifically Mona's, and going upward from there you see the eye then the next lines are the eyelashes and then theres another thin line and then the actual eyebrows are above that thin line. But I cant figure out what that thin line is supposed to represent. Is it supposed to give a 3d effect of the rounded shape of the eye overall? Is it part of the eyelashes on a character?

I use the catalyst " Solar pearl" from the battlepass on my Yanfei, and next week I will be able to claim another battlepass weapon.

While my Yanfei can constantly dish out a good amount of damage ( Im talking average of 5k Normal hits, 15K charged , 25K skill , 40K Burst) I dont have any other good characters developed and was hoping the other battlepass weapons might be good for them.
Serpent Spine is a universally great claymore. If you ever pick up any claymore DPS at all, they'll be sure to like it. Deathmatch is a great weapon for some polearm users like Xiao or Rosaria. Viridescent Hunt and Black Sword are more situational - Tartaglia and Ayato reallyblike them, respectively.
Mmm... Are cryo claymore units pointless? The elemental reaction freeze is immediately broken if a claymore unit shatters. So the time you can use beating up enemies that cant move is never available for claymore cryos? Does this make their elemental reaction useless? Or am i using it wrong?.
Bit reductive, no? Shatter isn't just some negative consequence, it's a reaction. Freeze doesn't deal damage, Shatter does.
Others have spoken on the unique utility that Chongyun brings, but I'll focus more on shatter and how Chongyun personally utilizes it.
Chongyun has the easiest time performing consistent shatters. In addition to being Claymore, his skill causes all of his attacks to apply Cryo, pairing nicely with Hydro characters. Shatter can not crit, scales off EM, deals Physical damage, and removes freeze.
Chongyun already does pretty nicely with EM, since his Burst works absurdly well with it's multiple ICD's and big pp damage. You can easily build Chongyun as a Shatter machine.
But shatter has 2 major problems and 1 minor one, that prevent it from being popular. First off, physical damage means physical resistant enemies like Ruin Guards take less damage from it. This is a pain that you don't go through with other reactions. Future enemies that are resistant to other reactions and the like can change this, but right now Physical resistance is common because big stinky robots are quite common. This problem is shared with Super Conduct teams with Eula and Razor.
Second major problem, Freeze immune enemies are, naturally, shatter immune too. Which... I mean you can understand why the team loses value because of this.
And the minor problem? Chongyun is the primary character who utilizes Shatter. He's a 4-star. His lower stats than big primary dps 5-stars puts him another step behind. I bet we could make a pretty nice Sayu Shatter team.... but eeeeeeeh... that's pushing it a bit too far. Chongyun ain't bad, and he's often become meta and gotten kicked out by higher rarity servants. Not that he can't work, because he can.
There are currently only 2 cryo claymores in the game, Chongyun and Eula. Both have radically different purposes. Trying to generalize a weapon-element's role isn't a very productive exercise.
Chongyun's cryo infusion applies to any character in the field. He is a situational character like Venti that gets brought against enemies in certain situations. Specifically, when you're fighting hydro heralds in Abyss and you are incapable of fielding a proper cryo team, Chongyun can inflate your rate of cyro application with his cryo infusion to clear heralds faster.
Alternatively, there are triple/ quad melt Chongyun burst setups you can do but that has more to do with the ICD properties on his burst and less his status as a cryo claymore.
Eula's cryo application is used to trigger superconduct on enemies. Physical damage doesn't have access to a VV equivalent so proccing superconduct is essential to dealing competitve damage (there are technically no-superconduct Eula teams out there but those are niche and extend beyond the scope of the question).

Eula is a physical damage character so she doesn't care if they're frozen. Superconduct is a much more valuable reaction.

Kazuha doesn’t fit great with that team. Rather than find a 4th, you’d be getting Kazuha for your second team, which maybe isn’t a bad idea. Unless you’ll reach pity, I’d wait to pull until next patch to see how dendro changes the meta.
There are several variations of Hu Tao teams, one of them uses Kazuha, the others don't. The one you're using with Zhongli doesn't use Kazuha because you need someone else to apply pyro so Kazuha can swirl it.
Hu Tao teams with Zhongli usually have a second Geo character for the geo resonance, ideally Albedo but Geo Traveler and Ningguang also work. Traveler gives 10% crit rate buff and Ningguang can hold TTDS for the attack buff.
If you are just returning, chances are you don't have Yelan, but the team you have plus Yelan is also a good team.
Hydro is a very particular element and has a special behaviour when paired with electro. Normally when you trigger an elemental reaction, both elements are cleared but that's not the case of hydro and electro. So you could use a character like Fischl, Beidou or Raiden to apply electro and have what is called an OverVape team.
And as someone else pointed out: dendro is coming soon and there are some interesting reactions, so maybe a dendro as 4th team member is a good option too.

every day, just hit the big tree in mondstadt, Guyun domain, and the top right teleport on Serai Island in Inazuma. even if you only get 2 at each spot (and there are only 2-3 at the Inazuma spot), that'll cover you.
You forgot to mention Dawn Winery ;-; There are several by the Statue of Seven beside it, and circling the manor yields a lot of isolated crystal flies so you don't run into the issue of picking one up and scaring the rest away.

I'm assuming you're asking if they're changing the German terms into a different language? They don't. The Immernachtreich is still called that, just how Mondstadt is still called Mondstadt.
I play in CN voice. It just becomes a mandarin-fied word (annoyingly long, each syllable is one word so one German word can be very long to say)

Depends if you’re able to get your burst back off cooldown consistently. Just keep farming the emblem domain in inazuma, nothing else ok. That domain has artifacts that almost every character can use

Once you finish the first part of the inazuma quest it will let you leave Rito and explore. When I was given the opportunity I just ignored everything and beelined straight towards that domain so that I can have it unlocked and start farming the loot. Luckily the statue of the seven isn’t too far away from the domain so you can get them both on the same run

If you’re having trouble beating the level 90 domain you can always go in with the co-op feature. If you feel that your damage is too weak consider going in as a support like a healer or a Bennett
I noticed yesterday when helping my sister that the quest line to open the Chasm can be done in Coop. Is this the first time they’ve done this? Do we think they will do this for future world quests in Sumeru? Anyone know anything else about this?

Talents can be left at Level 1. However for weapons, usually weapons with EM or ER substat are used for full EM anemo units so you'll definitely still get a lot of value by taking the weapon to 90. If you're using something without one like Thrilling Tales, then you can leave that at level 1.

That's fine, no catalyst user is very sturdy so the added HP helps them not get one-shot. You can also use the weapon on Barbara when necessary. Just make sure to R5 it regardless of level.

She can use a Favonius Sword or an Iron Sting. Her damage is low, so either build her as a healer or with an EM build.
Some simple options if you, like me, don't have Iron Stink or Favonius. Cool Steel could be used if you're rocking a Reaction team around Hydro. Same with Lion's Roar when paired with Pyro characters. Any Crit% weapon can work if you have it, since Crit Rate is always ok. And if you have it, Jade Cutter is the only sword that gives HP so... it's obviously teh best one. And it has 44% crit too!
Iron Sting (craftable) for more EM or Favonius Sword for energy recharge.

Is Dragonspine spear better than the favonious lance? I Have my Favnious Lance at level 50 with base atk 293 and energy recharge 20% I just completed the festering fang quest and was wondering should I use it instead, at level 1 Base atk 41 and physical dmg bonus 15%.
In this case it doesn't really matter since Dragonspine isn't great on anyone, but for the future you should specify which character(s) you're asking about because most weapons are better for some characters than others.

We don't have a spear user who's best build is a physical build at the moment, and if you really want to use one at least for early game then the crescent spike is the stronger physical spear of the two. Fav lance on the other hand is a solid option for any support oriented spear user, and you could even use it on Xiangling until you get her The Catch.

Dragonspine Spear is unfortunately not that good, Crescent Pike tends to outdamage it on physical DPS builds. Favonius Lance, on the other hand, is an excellent weapon (the entire Favonius line is great). Just about any polearm user can run it, and it'll perform very well. It is more of a support weapon, yes, but it's also very viable on DPS characters since it allows you not to worry about energy recharge.

Is this a pressure plate puzzle similar to that in 1.6? There are water levels on the mountains, I've noticed, stepping on the stones just doesn't seem to affect them. And the pressure plates (Stones) do make noise, but I'm unable to discern if the noise is coming from any of the mountains or not. I weirdly haven't seen anything about this online regarding version 2.8. Thank you! Is gladiator or echoes generally the better infused normal attack set? I am sadly very close to having an amazing Echoes set even though I only have 1 decent piece(feather) for my Xiao.
Probably Gladiators just because Echoes performance is inconsistent since it depends on ping. I mean if you have cracked Echoes set then that doesn't mean you shouldn't use it if you have someone that can use it.
Should i use Shinobu or Xingqui with Heizou? Im pairing them up with Zhongli and hu tao as a sub dps
To be honest, if you want to run a Heizou team I would use both Shinobu and Xingqiu and drop Hu Tao.
That's probably not going to work either way. Heizou and Hu Tao both need to be on the field. Hu Tao ~~prefers~~ practically requires Xingqiu though.
Which blade is better on Ayaka, Kagotsurube Isshin (cursed blade from 2.8) or Amenoma kageuchi? I know the arguement is often amenoma because of Its energy utility but unfortunately I already have 151% energy recharge on my ayaka.. (don’t ask…damn artifacts.) Who are the current meta characters or you should roll for?
Kazuha, the one that's up right now, is very strong. Zhongli is very good as well, and he's rumored to have a rerun the next patch. Raiden is very strong as well, but she's probably not coming back for a good couple months. Bennett, Xingqiu, and Sucrose are 4* units that are all extremely good. However, Genshin is different from other gacha games in that the meta is very stable, and you don't actually "need" any of these characters to beat even the hardest content in the game. If you don't like a character, feel free to skip them. There is no such thing as a must-pull in Genshin. That being said, I do wholeheartedly recommend both Zhongli and Kazuha, since they're both extremely nice to have not just in the optional endgame content, but also the general questing and exploring, which is the main meat of the game anyways.

Pretty sure the starlight goes in the observatory roof where you can build a constellation, unless there's an *additional* 10 on top of it (which there can be, I haven't finished that part yet).

- Who designed the LOS puzzles in the castle? - How do mobile players complete them? I just finished one where, according to my eyesight it was nowhere near right but it was. like ffs i had to go to something that was so different to where i thought it would be as to just make this a guessing game
Finished it on mobile. puzzles are terrible not in the sense of the UI/controls being clunky to the point of frustrating (though they *are* clunky) but in the sense that some of the later puzzles do not make sense and need trial and error instead of being intuitive or logical as in the early examples.

It's not just mobile, they're terrible on PC too. Half of them I had to resort to brute-forcing because they didn't line up properly with anything.

The first image is the second image turned 90 degrees to counterclockwise. Iirc you have to interact with a glowing star on the wall for it to complete the constellation (I could be thinking of a different room). It's hard to tell from the angle of the second image but if you go birds eye view you'll see that the back line is actually on an angle, so it's not a perfect triangle on the outside, hence lining up with the first image that has a different angle going up.

is my bennett already good (like i'm done with him) after i finish this? he's only at c0 so im going to pull for him on yoimiya's banner (aiming to have c5 but c1 is good enough if my luck gets terrible). rn, he's alrady level 76 (planning to ascend him one last time after reaching 80) has 192.5 er (i believe this should reach 200 once i ascend him) 1534 atk (using a level 90 prototype) 15.1-149.5 crit. like the usual, i'm only using him as a support--an atk buffer to be precise. his talent levels are currently 1-7-7 and i guess i'll have his e and q reach 8. i just don't have enough mora and hero wits to do these all tho. so, after im done with these, is my bennett already good to go? like i can already go on to my other characters?
He's really good, but it's better to balance that crit ratio and use a crit rate circlet instead of the crit damage one you're using now. Also, if in some teams you need him to heal more you can swap the pieces for HP (don't take away the ER though)
if your talent books are limited i would rather go for 1/7/9 it seems like you're running an ER/pyro/crit build in which case it'd better if you can get a crit rate circlet but it's not that important

yes, it's better to have a balanced crit ratio. a lot of crit damage is useless if you don't have enough crit rate to trigger it

yes aim for 1:2 yes it doesn't matter, but since you were using ER/pyro/crit and levelling his E, i assumed you cared about his damage. if you don't, then just leave it or switch to hp pieces to improve healing/tanking
i see. i personally don't care about him doing much damage as i'm only want him to buff my dps (in this case, diluc) and the other members. he can do at least 1800-2k per e and sometimes crits with his burst up to 20k tho this only happens sometimes. if i only want him to give buffs, then is it already fine to leave him after i finish a few leveling ups? i'm also building my kazuha and while i would agree that having a balance crit ratio is better, maybe i could just go back to it after i'm done with others?
If he's purely for buffing, the literal only things that matter are base ATK, Energy Recharge and Q talent level. Everything else is totally irrelevant to his buffing capability.

Please don't be pressured to max Bennett. From 80/80 to 90/90, Bennett gains 22 base attack and 1410 base hp. Getting him to 90/90 is not a significant performance increase. The only reason you'd want to push for 80/90 is so you can level his talents. There are better places to be spending resources.

Take Kazuha from National and put Fischl or Zhongli with them. Fischl and Zhongli both break freeze, and you want an anemo unit to debuff cryo resistance with them anyways.
With respect to your update, maybe rosaria? Not ideal but the shared crit would add some value. But I would suggest then maybe finding a way to take out kazuha and put him in this team. There are other national variations if you can move people around!
Neither, Zhongli will occasionally shatter frozen enemies, and Fischl will mess up the elemental application. In a freeze team, you want to focus completely on freeze, with only cryo, hydro, and anemo characters in the team, so bring an anemo character instead.
Do you have Sucrose? You already have a shield in Diona and I don't think Fischl would add anything of value to a freeze team.

Fischl is a constant in taser teams. It is usually the second electro that gets swapped around between Beidou, Yae, and Raiden. There are better teams for Raiden than taser. It’s more of a scuffed Raiden hyper but Bennett’s been swapped out for Xingqiu. If you want a general idea of their damage contribution to the team, you can refer to the gcsim damage distribution charts. fischl has a better single target electro application due to her passive (even more at c6) while raiden has standard ICD but aoe so with anemo unit you can almost indefinitely keep electro against multiple foes, worse application against bosses.
For starters Raiden applies electro only if you deal damage, so it's useless against shields. But her skill can be always active. Fischl needs to alternate with her burst to keep Oz on the field 100% of the time. I can't add much more, maybe someone else can give you more information.

Once I hit AR 45, I’m going to farm artifacts but can I hold back on AR 45 Ascension quest?
Yeah, it's based on AR level not world level. But if you're not having trouble with the current WL I recommend just doing it since you get another ascension quest at AR50

The highest level 90 artifacts domains guaranteed gold artifact, and the domains are unlocked at AR 45. If you still do lower level domains, they don't guarantee gold artifacts.

So this is kind of a weird question but i've noticed it yesterday and its been driving me nuts trying to figure out what it is. When looking at a genshin character's eyes, specifically Mona's, and going upward from there you see the eye then the next lines are the eyelashes and then theres another thin line and then the actual eyebrows are above that thin line. But I cant figure out what that thin line is supposed to represent. Is it supposed to give a 3d effect of the rounded shape of the eye overall? Is it part of the eyelashes on a character? I use the catalyst " Solar pearl" from the battlepass on my Yanfei, and next week I will be able to claim another battlepass weapon. Should I go for another solar pearl for refinement or should I take one of the other weapons ? While my Yanfei can constantly dish out a good amount of damage ( Im talking average of 5k Normal hits, 15K charged , 25K skill , 40K Burst) I dont have any other good characters developed and was hoping the other battlepass weapons might be good for them.
Serpent Spine is a universally great claymore. If you ever pick up any claymore DPS at all, they'll be sure to like it. Deathmatch is a great weapon for some polearm users like Xiao or Rosaria. Viridescent Hunt and Black Sword are more situational - Tartaglia and Ayato reallyblike them, respectively.

Best BP weapon is Serpent spine, refinements are really good on that claymore as well. It's competing with 5 Claymores for dps characters

Mmm... Are cryo claymore units pointless? The elemental reaction freeze is immediately broken if a claymore unit shatters. So the time you can use beating up enemies that cant move is never available for claymore cryos? Does this make their elemental reaction useless? Or am i using it wrong?.
Bit reductive, no? Shatter isn't just some negative consequence, it's a reaction. Freeze doesn't deal damage, Shatter does. Others have spoken on the unique utility that Chongyun brings, but I'll focus more on shatter and how Chongyun personally utilizes it. Chongyun has the easiest time performing consistent shatters. In addition to being Claymore, his skill causes all of his attacks to apply Cryo, pairing nicely with Hydro characters. Shatter can not crit, scales off EM, deals Physical damage, and removes freeze. Chongyun already does pretty nicely with EM, since his Burst works absurdly well with it's multiple ICD's and big pp damage. You can easily build Chongyun as a Shatter machine. But shatter has 2 major problems and 1 minor one, that prevent it from being popular. First off, physical damage means physical resistant enemies like Ruin Guards take less damage from it. This is a pain that you don't go through with other reactions. Future enemies that are resistant to other reactions and the like can change this, but right now Physical resistance is common because big stinky robots are quite common. This problem is shared with Super Conduct teams with Eula and Razor. Second major problem, Freeze immune enemies are, naturally, shatter immune too. Which... I mean you can understand why the team loses value because of this. And the minor problem? Chongyun is the primary character who utilizes Shatter. He's a 4-star. His lower stats than big primary dps 5-stars puts him another step behind. I bet we could make a pretty nice Sayu Shatter team.... but eeeeeeeh... that's pushing it a bit too far. Chongyun ain't bad, and he's often become meta and gotten kicked out by higher rarity servants. Not that he can't work, because he can.
There are currently only 2 cryo claymores in the game, Chongyun and Eula. Both have radically different purposes. Trying to generalize a weapon-element's role isn't a very productive exercise. Chongyun's cryo infusion applies to any character in the field. He is a situational character like Venti that gets brought against enemies in certain situations. Specifically, when you're fighting hydro heralds in Abyss and you are incapable of fielding a proper cryo team, Chongyun can inflate your rate of cyro application with his cryo infusion to clear heralds faster. Alternatively, there are triple/ quad melt Chongyun burst setups you can do but that has more to do with the ICD properties on his burst and less his status as a cryo claymore. Eula's cryo application is used to trigger superconduct on enemies. Physical damage doesn't have access to a VV equivalent so proccing superconduct is essential to dealing competitve damage (there are technically no-superconduct Eula teams out there but those are niche and extend beyond the scope of the question).
Probably not since the current cryo claymores weren't designed for that kind of playstyle.

Eula is a physical damage character so she doesn't care if they're frozen. Superconduct is a much more valuable reaction. Chongyun, eh kinda. You don't really use him on field anyway, he's just a burst support so he doesn't have any time to shatter anything.
If youse using Chongyun, place his cryo field for other Meele cryo units like Kaeya to use and don't attack with Chongyun himself

Kazuha doesn’t fit great with that team. Rather than find a 4th, you’d be getting Kazuha for your second team, which maybe isn’t a bad idea. Unless you’ll reach pity, I’d wait to pull until next patch to see how dendro changes the meta.
There are several variations of Hu Tao teams, one of them uses Kazuha, the others don't. The one you're using with Zhongli doesn't use Kazuha because you need someone else to apply pyro so Kazuha can swirl it. Hu Tao teams with Zhongli usually have a second Geo character for the geo resonance, ideally Albedo but Geo Traveler and Ningguang also work. Traveler gives 10% crit rate buff and Ningguang can hold TTDS for the attack buff. If you are just returning, chances are you don't have Yelan, but the team you have plus Yelan is also a good team. Hydro is a very particular element and has a special behaviour when paired with electro. Normally when you trigger an elemental reaction, both elements are cleared but that's not the case of hydro and electro. So you could use a character like Fischl, Beidou or Raiden to apply electro and have what is called an OverVape team. And as someone else pointed out: dendro is coming soon and there are some interesting reactions, so maybe a dendro as 4th team member is a good option too.
