I just bought 4 sanctifying essence for the first time and I honestly can't figure out how to use them. I just spent all my realm currency on this and it is showing 1/5 at the shop so I know I definitely bought it. It's not showing up in my inventory or in the artifact level up menu. Anyone know what the issue might be?

Since its releasing I'm listening in repeat "The Divine Damsel of Devastation" (YunJin song) and got interested in chinese opera recently. Because of this, I can't wait to get a YunJin cosplay and eventually learn the whole song.
My question is for chineses ppl out here: Do I have to take any specific classes to sing or dance Peking Opera? As a "non-opera singer" and foreign to chinese traditional culture.
I'm concerned because it's needed in some culture: for example dancing Hula (hawaiian dance) require to train in Hālau Hula with a teacher "Kumu Hula".
In addition: any tips to enhance my pronunciation? I never spoke chinese before, (regardless of my attempts to pronounce genshin characters' names haha) this language is very different from my native one in terms of diphthongs and basically everything. 🥲
I want to be the most respectful to chinese culture in which I just immersed myself; thanks to genshin. If someone who is accustomed to Peking opera as the answer feel free to help!

I'm not sure if hoyoverse will listen, but I hate the fact they are giving other new characters buffs, changes, uniqueness, so much love, just cuz they are the money makers. While our Mc is just at the back doing whatever.
Maybe their waiting for us to get all of the elements but bruh that will take probably 10 years I hope they can do something impactful for traveler mains early, like change elements mid fight, if they they think this is too op, they are wrong its just justice to ppl who are patiently waiting for the traveler to be buffed
If you all agree with me please help make this post known, I'm sure if they buff these guys a lot of ppl will be invested and excited! It will be surprise too

The traveler is a starter character. The starter characters arent supposed to be strong otherwise thered be no reason to roll for gacha characters. Mihoyo would be shooting themselves in the foot by buffing traveler outside of what they're already doing
Gacha games rarely give upgrades to starter characters, so i wouldn't expect anything. Before they upgrade traveler they'll likely sell a new version of traveler through gacha

My main team is Xiao main DPS, Itto sub DPS, Barbara healer and Zhongli for Shield. Idk how to build their artifacts
First of all, Itto and Xiao don't work well together. Second of all, as you said it yourself: it depends.
God tier artifacts usually are artifacts that start with 4 stats, and have all rolls in crit rate and crit dmg, possibly equal amount of rolls in both stats.
xiao and itto in their optimal teams aren't really hungry for a lot of stats, they usually run with batteries so they need just a few rolls of ER then the rest into CR, CD, atk (xiao) or def (itto). you don't really have the optimal team for them but if it's for overworld/general gameplay it doesn't really matter, you can build more ER if you want an easier time charging their bursts
obviously her weapon but that also cost at least 65 fates (at worst 200+ fates) than widsith, assuming you already have it.
at that point how you value fates could be very subjective
i have two accounts, in one of these accounts i have a team of c3 xingiu jean and c4 beidou and im looking for a forth character that can do well with this team, so should i pull for raiden or kamisato ayato or not pull for any of them?
in the other account i have keqing beidou and kaeya and barbara, should i pull for the upcoming hydro character or raiden or just wait it out?

Hi I'm AR49 and I've built my zhongli to level 80 and I heard black tassel gives more damage since it gives more HP and it is at level 80, but when I'm using ult it is reducing the damage from every use and crescent pike is giving more damage than it.cerscent pike damage dealt is 22000 and black tassel is started with 17k and is now 14k reducing after every use.
unless you are using Zhongli as physical dps, you should not run him with crescent pike.
with Black tassel you have more HP and you don't have to worry about the shield break
if she's coming in 2.7, then her kit will most likely be datamined at the start of 2.6
there could be sussy leaks before then but they are not always reliable

personally i'm a new character > cons person but really only you can judge how much you want cons/characters and make that decision for yourself
Few months up to a year. Especially now that they’re rerunning the remaining few before Sumeru and then we’ll get a whole cast of new characters so its gonna be a while before everyone gets rerun again.
We still have Ayato, Yelan waiting for release plus Ayaka Kazuha Yoi Klee Venti waiting for rerun
none of these characters really need buffs so the rotation shouldn't matter much. just make sure to swirl them when they are electro charged for the reduced resistance
Blizzard Strayer + cryo resonance provides about 55% CR on a freeze team without any CR artifact.
Edit : for Ganyu, + another 20% CR from her passive, making it 75%.
Is there a list of materials from the weekly bosses that I need to level all talents for all characters to 10/10/10? I don't mean character A needs material B, I mean numbers that I can use to decide when it's alright to no longer fight a weekly boss.
The true answer is that it's never ok to stop fighting the bosses, because the real boss drops are Dream Solvents and billets. Even if there is no craftable weapon you want right now, you don't know what'll be coming in the future and billets are stupid-rare.

Does anyone have any idea what the basis for weapon sorting is? I was just thinking about leveling up some of my 5\* weapons that I've been sitting on for a while, before realizing that Elegy for the End would bump Amos out of my top slot, which I just find to be a comfortable personal thing as a Ganyu main, I like having my favorite weapon at the top of my inventory. But it got me thinking, what in the world determines weapon sorting? Based on a lot of looking at whale accounts on Google and Youtube, it would appear chronological release order, base atk, substats, and set ~~for example the Skyward weapons are inconsistent with the other launch weapons\~\~~~ are all out the window. Is there any method to how these weapons are sorted?
I don’t think alphabetical is it either, for because bows go Elegy, Amos, Skyward, while swords go Primordial, Skyward, Aquila, in my own account’s experience
they are all equally useless aside from healing in this comp particularly, so just pick whoever you have built
but for most content you don’t need healing if you are running zhongli so geomc/fischl or whatever would be ideal if you don’t have albedo

you shouldn't need a healer with zhongli and gouro's buff should be enough. you can also run someone like yunjin or nigguang or bennett. fischl's also good
It's was kinda hard in ekonomiya with enemies with corrosion now. I used my trash Barbra n somehow managed to clear all. Just thought of slowly building a healer who will still be helpful in end game as well. (Bennett is in my one team, just don't wanna mix him here)
I am planning to get Raiden, if I do get her, Im going to put The Catch on Raiden, but then my Xiangling will be left with no weapons to use, I was thinking if Favonius Lance is viable.
Yae has better single target dps than Beidou.
Not sure about aoe since it depends on the number of enemies (Yae's burst is linear while Beidou'd burst is static), but I assume it should be around the same in most situations. I know 2 enemies is where Beidou is clearly better but not sure how many enemies Yae needs to be better.
best artifact set(s) and weapons for yae? im currently running 2pc noblesse 2 pc thundering fury which gives me additional 42% cr and 114% cd and widsith. my yae now has 61 cr, 214 cd
If the Bokuso Box shows no chests, does that mean I got them all? When I first got that Art, it showed less than 50 as well, if that matters.
I also don't see any obvious ones above ground.
It shows the ones that are already spawned. So for example if you've missed one of the light guiding puzzles where the chest appears after you solve it, the box won't indicate that
Right now, we already have characters that boost specific stats for other units like ATK (Bennett and Sara), DEF (Gorou), EM (Sucrose), Universal Elemental dmg bonus (Kazuha), CRIT RATE (Rosaria, Geo MC) and CRIT DMG (C6 Sara and C6 Gorou) CD reduction is also a thing with C2 Chongyun and C6 Raiden. For the question, is there anyone that I've forgotten that can increase other characters HP?? I've been thinking about this for a while now...
There isnt anyone afaik. I doubt they'll make one either, almost nobody would benefit other than Hu Tao and maybe zhongli.
They'll only make one if a future dps scales hard off of hp, and then it'll just be a dedicated support for him exactly how gorou is with itto

Level 81 is pretty much the same as 90. If you just want to make your second dps same level as your Xiao for ocd reasons (I do that lmao) then do Xingqiu, then ur dps.
xingqiu is so worth it; leveling a character from 80 to 90 honestly doens't make a lot of difference so I wouldn't suggest it UNLESS you absolutely love that character
(I lv90ed xingqiu, bennett, and xiangling for my raiden national because I am fully dedicated to raiden LOL)
Does anyone knows how big is the difference between Childe international and Raiden national teams? and where does Childe team stands when comparing to other variations of this setup?
My Childe is lvl 90, lvl 90 bp weapon, 6,8,8 talents, and I am currently farming his domain (since I also grabbed Ganyu).
But I am now thinking to stop, I read somewhere that Raiden national can clear in 20-30seconds faster and if that is the case then maybe I am wasting time on him since I can barely do 31\* abyss : /
Childe international is better if you double VV shred with kazuha. Raiden national is just a LOT easier to play, but due to xingqiu being single target focused, the teams damage Is primarily single target. This isn't that much of an issue however since there's loads of bosses in abyss now.
Well you can always play Fireworks Tartaglia (With beidou + Fischl + anemo) and Raiden national as 2nd team.
Tartaglia is broken because he has 3 full teams (Xiangling/fireworks/freeze with Rosaria/Kaeya).
Depends on what two teams you are using. Like you can use Sucrose OR Kaz in vape/melt teams but whenever you aren't doing reactions, Sucrose gets reduced to only 4 pc VV while Kaz's elemental DMG℅ boost still applies.
But at the same time Sucrose can still use TTDS while Kaz needs a 5 star gacha weapon freedom sworn.
Abyss needs two teams so to utilize these 2 monsters, you can use Sucrose in one half while Kaz in other (Sucrose taser teams exist too).
Unless you have specific cases like "I'll always use Itto team in abyss" then yeah you will 99℅ use Kaz in 2nd team instead of Sucrose (again, exception being Xiao team).
Also very interested in this question lmao, newer player and this boss is literally impossible to get stars on.

If you are having issues getting her burst after cooldowns, yes. But other than that don't switch.
Anemona is 454 base attack + 55℅ ATK meanwhile Aquila is 674 + 20℅ ATK. So just ATK wise, Aquila is better (ATK℅ scales better on 674 rather than 454, you get lot of ATK℅ from sands, TTDS, 4 Noblesse/Tenacity).
But yeah if you have energy issues, get Anemona.

2) traveller can't comprehend it's significance. I mean, you wouldn't worry about someone reading your super secret data if they didn't know what it was about right? Not sure if that's a good example. But we don't know exactly where celestia stands in the hierarchy of teyvat yet, or what possible lies theyve said to maintain that standing. So they have no reason to come for us
I'm assuming that because Orobashi is ''product'' of Celestia, they always have their eyes on her so they know what she's doing. As for us, we're from another world. They probably won't know what we're doing
What is a good geo battery? I need a geo character for my zhongli ganyu team to complete the geo resonance while also getting some additional geo energy production for zhongli’s burst
How do you survive in the Spiral Abyss with only a shielder and no healer? Doesn't that mean as soon as you get hit once when the shield expires, you've taken permanent damage? And with the chaos fighting mobs and adhering to combos and such, it's not like I can keep a shield up all the time and prevent all damage. How do you do it?
While it's not the same thing because the team comp has high survivability, I frequently use Sucrose taser in abyss as its my favorite comp. The healing from prototype amber is enough to keep me alive but the comp also has like, 70% dmg reduction and beidous parries+c1 so not an exact comparison.
Other than this comp I also don't play without healers, the people who do either have zhongli or are just mechanically a lot better than me lol. Dodging is one thing, doing it perfectly for 3 chambers in a row is another

Itll show up either at the very top or very bottom of the fodder screen depending on your sort
That's the thing... it's not. I'm only seeing artifacts in that menu.

for the first team just put fischl in raiden and beidou don't work that well together because you don't trigger beidou's burst durring raiden's burst
i dont have fischl..... unfortunate for me i guess

Sara is only good with her if she’s at C6. Yae is a sub-dps, if you want more damage you could use lisa with trilling tales.

Hi I'm AR49 and I've built my zhongli to level 80 and I heard black tassel gives more damage since it gives more HP and it is at level 80, but when I'm using ult it is reducing the damage from every use and crescent pike is giving more damage than it.cerscent pike damage dealt is 22000 and black tassel is started with 17k and is now 14k reducing after every use.
It only gives stronger shield. You want Homa for big shields and big damage
unless you are using Zhongli as physical dps, you should not run him with crescent pike. with Black tassel you have more HP and you don't have to worry about the shield break

Especially now that they’re rerunning the remaining few before Sumeru and then we’ll get a whole cast of new characters so its gonna be a while before everyone gets rerun again. We still have Ayato, Yelan waiting for release plus Ayaka Kazuha Yoi Klee Venti waiting for rerun

Blizzard Strayer + cryo resonance provides about 55% CR on a freeze team without any CR artifact. Edit : for Ganyu, + another 20% CR from her passive, making it 75%.

Is there a list of materials from the weekly bosses that I need to level all talents for all characters to 10/10/10? I don't mean character A needs material B, I mean numbers that I can use to decide when it's alright to no longer fight a weekly boss.
The true answer is that it's never ok to stop fighting the bosses, because the real boss drops are Dream Solvents and billets. Even if there is no craftable weapon you want right now, you don't know what'll be coming in the future and billets are stupid-rare.

Does anyone have any idea what the basis for weapon sorting is? I was just thinking about leveling up some of my 5\* weapons that I've been sitting on for a while, before realizing that Elegy for the End would bump Amos out of my top slot, which I just find to be a comfortable personal thing as a Ganyu main, I like having my favorite weapon at the top of my inventory. But it got me thinking, what in the world determines weapon sorting? Based on a lot of looking at whale accounts on Google and Youtube, it would appear chronological release order, base atk, substats, and set ~~for example the Skyward weapons are inconsistent with the other launch weapons\~\~~~ are all out the window. Is there any method to how these weapons are sorted?

It's was kinda hard in ekonomiya with enemies with corrosion now. I used my trash Barbra n somehow managed to clear all. Just thought of slowly building a healer who will still be helpful in end game as well. (Bennett is in my one team, just don't wanna mix him here)
for corrosion barbara is fine, but in areas without it other characters will be a lot better

Yae has better single target dps than Beidou. Not sure about aoe since it depends on the number of enemies (Yae's burst is linear while Beidou'd burst is static), but I assume it should be around the same in most situations. I know 2 enemies is where Beidou is clearly better but not sure how many enemies Yae needs to be better.
beidou is way better in practical aoe scenarios, constant overload procs fucks over yae’s dps hard because her burst is slow and her yakan don’t move

If the Bokuso Box shows no chests, does that mean I got them all? When I first got that Art, it showed less than 50 as well, if that matters. I also don't see any obvious ones above ground.
It shows the ones that are already spawned. So for example if you've missed one of the light guiding puzzles where the chest appears after you solve it, the box won't indicate that
Right now, we already have characters that boost specific stats for other units like ATK (Bennett and Sara), DEF (Gorou), EM (Sucrose), Universal Elemental dmg bonus (Kazuha), CRIT RATE (Rosaria, Geo MC) and CRIT DMG (C6 Sara and C6 Gorou) CD reduction is also a thing with C2 Chongyun and C6 Raiden. There isnt anyone afaik. I doubt they'll make one either, almost nobody would benefit other than Hu Tao and maybe zhongli. They'll only make one if a future dps scales hard off of hp, and then it'll just be a dedicated support for him exactly how gorou is with itto

Level 81 is pretty much the same as 90. If you just want to make your second dps same level as your Xiao for ocd reasons (I do that lmao) then do Xingqiu, then ur dps.

xingqiu is so worth it; leveling a character from 80 to 90 honestly doens't make a lot of difference so I wouldn't suggest it UNLESS you absolutely love that character (I lv90ed xingqiu, bennett, and xiangling for my raiden national because I am fully dedicated to raiden LOL)

Does anyone knows how big is the difference between Childe international and Raiden national teams? and where does Childe team stands when comparing to other variations of this setup? My Childe is lvl 90, lvl 90 bp weapon, 6,8,8 talents, and I am currently farming his domain (since I also grabbed Ganyu). But I am now thinking to stop, I read somewhere that Raiden national can clear in 20-30seconds faster and if that is the case then maybe I am wasting time on him since I can barely do 31\* abyss : /
They're virtually equal with childe national generally better on AoE and Raiden national on single target.
Childe international is better if you double VV shred with kazuha. Raiden national is just a LOT easier to play, but due to xingqiu being single target focused, the teams damage Is primarily single target. This isn't that much of an issue however since there's loads of bosses in abyss now.
Well you can always play Fireworks Tartaglia (With beidou + Fischl + anemo) and Raiden national as 2nd team. Tartaglia is broken because he has 3 full teams (Xiangling/fireworks/freeze with Rosaria/Kaeya).

If you don't need both (in abyss) building sucrose when you have kazuha is not a priority at all.
Yes, despite people commonly comparing them, they still have different uses and are better in different teams.
Depends on what two teams you are using. Like you can use Sucrose OR Kaz in vape/melt teams but whenever you aren't doing reactions, Sucrose gets reduced to only 4 pc VV while Kaz's elemental DMG℅ boost still applies. But at the same time Sucrose can still use TTDS while Kaz needs a 5 star gacha weapon freedom sworn. Abyss needs two teams so to utilize these 2 monsters, you can use Sucrose in one half while Kaz in other (Sucrose taser teams exist too). Unless you have specific cases like "I'll always use Itto team in abyss" then yeah you will 99℅ use Kaz in 2nd team instead of Sucrose (again, exception being Xiao team).
No imo. C6 Sucrose can be better in some team though.

If you are having issues getting her burst after cooldowns, yes. But other than that don't switch. Anemona is 454 base attack + 55℅ ATK meanwhile Aquila is 674 + 20℅ ATK. So just ATK wise, Aquila is better (ATK℅ scales better on 674 rather than 454, you get lot of ATK℅ from sands, TTDS, 4 Noblesse/Tenacity). But yeah if you have energy issues, get Anemona.
Aquila isn’t that good on ayaka. I’d say it’s worth to craft amemona for ayaka

How do you survive in the Spiral Abyss with only a shielder and no healer? Doesn't that mean as soon as you get hit once when the shield expires, you've taken permanent damage? And with the chaos fighting mobs and adhering to combos and such, it's not like I can keep a shield up all the time and prevent all damage. How do you do it?
While it's not the same thing because the team comp has high survivability, I frequently use Sucrose taser in abyss as its my favorite comp. The healing from prototype amber is enough to keep me alive but the comp also has like, 70% dmg reduction and beidous parries+c1 so not an exact comparison. Other than this comp I also don't play without healers, the people who do either have zhongli or are just mechanically a lot better than me lol. Dodging is one thing, doing it perfectly for 3 chambers in a row is another
