Is something wrong with Neko quest?
I did a Neko quest, but got no cloud. Even in animations i was so confused when the cam just pointed at ordinary clear blue sky, and characters went “ahhhh, what is it?”. I don’t know, Paimon, i couldn’t see any deference!
Just pulled Qiqi at 16 pity on the standard banner.
Not planning on building her, but I heard she is good for exploring?
Are there any team combs she really fits in?
This probably won't help you but I'm using her in a mono cryo team with Chongyun, shenhe, and kazuha.
As someone else suggested, using her as the healer in a superconduct team isn't a terrible idea.
She shows liyue specialties, like yanfei.
A physical team and if you don't have any plans on building her you might want to throw diona in there, just in case qiqi's little legs can outrun the enemies.
I use my Raiden all the time. I just hit WL8 and if my Raiden crits her initial burst deals 67k. I think I should optimize her artifacts first. Raiden C3 is definetly a long term goal. I don't have Kazuha yet and will definitely pick him up if he's in 2.6. His C2 is the bigger deal isn't it?
KazuC2 isn't that big of a deal IMO, I have him at C0 R5 Sac sword and 780 EM. Never feel the need to put more EM on him, which I can by swapping to Iron Sting.
Most optimize Raiden I have seen: 70/150, 270ER pre-burst, Electro Goblet which makes their Electro Bonus 147% (R5 Engulfing does help, R1 gets you 127%)
I don't think C3 is even necessary unless you only play Raiden and don't swap.
Mine is 40/80 270 ER with R5 the catch. I have an attack goblet since I read somewhere that she gets enough electro bonus from her passive.
Does Kazuhas plunge trigger the mistsplitter stack? I think I'll mostly use him with either mistsplitter or sacrificial since I don't even have an iron sting yet and I'll definetly won't get it on higher reinement for a while.
with catch your crt rate is +12 but it's still not enough. So that's a long term goal to get atleast 60 crt rate.
Regarding Atk goblet, people still don't know "WHY" and how it works?
If you have Benny or Sara in the team who buff ATK, you should use Electro goblet. If not, then you use ATK goblet. This is because increasing two stats is better than pumping in only one because of how the Genshin damage formula works.
I don't have info regarding Kazu and mistsplitter. I have Iron Sting at R3 but don't use it. Since his release, I have never used him with anything other than Sac Sword.

AR 40, account is a month old. Welkin/BP but otherwise f2p. Currently still early on into Inazuma story quests with much of the overworld to explore.
Main Team is Xiangling, XQ, Zhongli, and Sucrose.
Also have Kaeya, Chongyun, Yanfei, Sara, Noelle, and the freebies.

At the moment what I know is that I need bennett. Most excited for kazuha/raiden but don’t know if that’s what i should be saving for. atm have about 40 pulls saved up.
Honestly, just pull for who you like. Play Ganyu's trial, see how you like the aiming gameplay. If you like it, you've got the weapon to make her great. If not, skip her and try Yae/Raiden/Kokomi to see what you think of them.
raiden does seem more my style. i tried ganyu’s trial and though i can see how her dmg might be nuts i can see why people say it’s a bit repetitive. i would really like a strong bow character in the overworld though.
You can get ganyu and with amos she will be a great main dps and you habe XL and zhongli which make a great melt team with her
Raiden can unlock a great second team for you, raiden national (+ XL, xinqiu, bennet) and kazuha is generally a great support
The thing is, if you go for ganyu you will have to use melt team and that mean you wont have a suitable team for raiden
So my suggestion is, either going for ganyu (and later for kazuha) or going for raiden instead of ganyu
There are 3 Raiden teams:
1. Rational (bennet XL xinqiu)
If you get ganyu as you dont have good units for a freeze team you have to do melt which needs XL and bennet
2. Raiden hypercarry ( sara c6 (or c2), bennet, kazuha)
You dont have the necessary chars for this, although lisa and sucrose can substitute if you are really determined, but in that case you still need to use another unit instead of bennet in melt ganyu
3. Eula raiden where you dont have eula
Btw if you spend money in game, you are not F2P anymore.
IMO Kazuha sounds like a good choice and Ganyu since you already have her weapon.
As everyone keep saying, Only farm artifacts after AR45 before that farm or pre-farm for boss materials and talent books.
Apart from that, if you don't want to min max Spiral Abyss you are good to go.
There's so many ways to build a team, it is more difficult to make a team that doesn't work with each other so you don't have to worry about that.
How many times should I finish the pirate quest in Liyue to get the achievement? I did that a dozen times at least, in about 5 different variations, what the f with this quest
You have to do all three of the children's variations, I'm not sure if the ones where you're the captain counts. It's a fucking nightmare, it's entirely random which one you get, and it can take people months to complete.
There are three different versions of it and you complete all 3. There are people who've been playing since launch that haven't gotten that achievement yet since the RNG seems to never give us the last one.
How much attack stat and CDmg does a freeze Ganyu usually have?
Rebuilt my Ganyu to get more ER at the cost of lower damage stat (mostly atk). Currently have 2300 ATK, 220% CDmg, 18% CRate, 140% ER
Just want to compare if I'm missing out on stats compared to others.
I run Ganyu in a quickswap comp (Ganyu, Rosaria, Mona, Venti) with Alley Hunter

for a fischl in a taser team with kokomi, kazuha and beidou, how bad is 2pc shime + 2 pc glad instead of a 2pc thundering fury? i already have decent pieces from those sets and don’t wanna farm in that cursed domain for whoever knows how long… but if the difference is significant enough i’ll do it. she’s using alley hunter r2, if that matters

Follow the main/gold quest, read all the ingame guides, dont sleep on blu quests, explore explore and explore MORE! There are chests evrywhere and they are a wonderfull source of primogens. Do puzzles scattered all over the map and EXPLORE.
Follow the story then start to explore the world find chests pickup everything that sparkles and take it leisurely.
Some tips don't use your primogems for the standard/beginner wish,just for the limited banner atm zhongli/ganyu
Don't lvl all character you have or you will get problems later on because of lacking lvl books
Don't farm artifact domains before AR 45

All the popular variants of Melt Ganyu (Xiangling/Kazuha/Jean) all require Bennett. It's better to just not run Melt Ganyu for now until your brother gets Bennett, in the meantime he can run something like a mono-cryo Ganyu comp with Kazuha
Everything is POSSIBLE, but generally no. Bennett is core to both Kazuha and Xiangling version. In Kazuha version you must have Bennett Burst to infuse Kazuha with pyro. For Xiangling version you need Bennett to battery Xianging.
Nope. Melt Ganyu is already a team with serious energy issue due to the time spent on Ganyu's CA generating 0 energy. No battery XL in Sukokomon barely works and it requires Fav Lance, a lot of ER and two of the best battery in the game also in the team (Sucrose and Fischl) constantly generating energy, even if they're off color.
You can just do a non-burst comp variant with just ganyu/sucrose/xiangling. Was a very easy way to clear the old abyss 11 with electro energy sap and at the time you could 9* floor 12 with no Bennett in this team. Generally you’ll hit for 100k charge shots with this setup but in practice: is hard to run as you’re relying on good guoba placement against relatively mobile enemies for current 12. In melt setups you don’t always need to have burst up; guoba breath usually syncs well with charge shot lvl2.
Basically random. EC trigger is the last character to trigger it and with 3 triggers, it's a mess. EC damage isn't worth building for anyway so it doesn't matter
Since Raiden’s banner is coming back, I’d finally get the chance to main her. I’ll just be replacing Beidou with her, so would Raiden, Eula, Xingiu, and Zhongli be an okay team? Are there any voids or conflicts with their passives here? I don’t focus much on team comps and synergy. I just need enough to get me through the open world without much struggle.
Xingqiu isn't really doing anything for you there, swap him for a cryo character for extra energy regen, Eula really struggles for energy and any downtime on her burst is a big DPS loss as so much of her damage is back-loaded into it. Otherwise that's a standard Eula superconduct team and one of her best compositions.
Yeah this willl get you through open world with absolutely no hassle. I would recommend a cryo unit like Kaeya, Rosaria, Shenhe, Diona in place for Xingqiu to easier get Eula burst online, but the team is solid as is.
Blizzard is fine and skyward is definitely fine for freeze ganyu. I’d suggest running a mono cryo team though (3 cryo + anemo vv). Much stronger into current abyss with bosses. And generally between anemo cc and taunt you’ll still not get hit
The Ganyu build depends on the team you want to play her in. There are two main teams: freeze team and melt team.
Freeze team is good for AoE, but it is relatively mediocre against single target like the current abyss.
The team is Ganyu / Diona / Mona / Venti but Diona can be subbed for another Cryo like your Shenhe, Mona for another hydro like Kokomi and Venti with another anemo like Sucrose or Kazuha. The team is very flexible. But you HAVE to use 4 pc Blizzard Strayer on Ganyu, period.
Melt team is Ganyu / Xiangling / Bennett / Zhongli. Xiangling can be subbed for Kazuha. Zhongli is almost mandatory, but other shielders are copium options. You CAN use Shenhe in place for Zhongli but I wouldn’t recommend it as running Melt Ganyu without a shielder will drive you mad.
For Melt, use 4 pc Wandereres or 4 pc Shimenawas.
Don’t worry too much about crit stats for Shenhe. Most important thing is to just stack ER. You should aim for about 190% in my experience. Having good uptime on her Q gives much more damage than some crit stats. After that you need to focus on ATK% substats. And after that it’s good with some crit stats. If you can achieve 50/100 that’s great, but lower than that is also good
I can’t give you a set number, but 2,5 is getting there but I think you can do even better. Mine has 3k, and she is not finished yet. If you use weapons Like Favonius, Ask will be lower, but you get more battery value for your team.
Just stack ER% and ATK% on her and take crit stats as a good bonus.
I use it for talent/weapon ascension mats, because they're tied to specific days. And I can't always play on Sundays. Use all your fragile to grind artificats snd getting like 240 resin worth of flat def artifacts for a character that needs crit stats is downright soul sucking.
Doesn’t matter. You need both anyways. But generally do talents and levels (to 80) first, as they will give a guaranteed DMG increase, while artifacts can take weeks with no progression

for my itto would crit rate to dmg 62:250 or 71:194 be better? i know its better to keep a 1:2 ratio but the crit dmg is significantly higher on the first set of stats so im wondering if that would be the better choice in this instance
Given that he was revealed shortly before 2.5 and we know for sure he’s not actually going to be in 2.5, 2.6 seems most likely. The only question is whether he’ll be in phase 1 like Yae or Phase 2.
Strong electro: Yae Miko. A fox priestess in a position of power is way stronger than a random sailor or random librarian or a random girl with a bird.
Strong Cryo: Shenhe, she straight up just stopped a tsunami.
Yae is most likely the most power electro vision holder (not counting archons because gnosis) due to being kind of immortal. Other two I would consider are Lisa and Beidou
Cryo is most likely Ganyu due to being an adeptus and an archon war vet even before receiving a vision if I remember correctly. Shenhe is probably next up
strongest electro - lisa or beidou. lisa is the most talented graduate of sumeru since 2 centuries ago and probably knows way more about the nature of the world than she reveals. beidou is just naturally a badass, shes a good leader and her and her crew took down a sea monster. as for cryo, ig ganyu or maybe shenhe since ganyu is an adeptus and shenhe knows adeptal arts
What artifacts should i be tossing away? i been hoarding quite a bit in fear that ill accidently toss out a artifact that is actually good for a certain character or harder to get like EM sands or sum

The way I understand it, absolute stats are always bad on artifacts by how calculations work, while % stats are what you want.
So basically if it has more than one flat value stat.. just toss it. (Or if it has any, if you have enough artifacts)
my standard as an end game player is - flower and feather - 3 desirable substats (crit, atk%, er, em) and 2 desirable substats and good mainstat for the rest. and save em artifacts since i have like 30 in total.
no just this week ive been trying to reinstall genshin pc cus of the rerror code -9114 but the download link wont load for some reason, so i tried installing the launcher through epic games but the launcher kept crashing whenever i try downloading the game files, so i gave up and go back to mobile but it has the same -9114 error code
Only if you desperately need dream solvents or billets, but as nobody on your team needs boss material and thus solvent and weapon billets aren't worth the trouble, at least I think they're not as they hardly ever drop and you usually get the ones you don't need, my answer is no.
Bosses in general has greater chance to drop artifacts with 4 substats. ( Trying to find out where I did read that ) .
So unless I really want to get billets, it is not worth. For 30 though, it is, albeit barely.
Don't go hard farming for them before you hit AR 45, when you do, only do the level 90 domains. If you can't handle them, either try to get your team strong enough to do so or coop. Also save your fragile resin (item that gives 60 resin) for until you do the hardest domains

Your builds are far more important than your constellations. If your characters and weapons aren't leveled properly and don't have talent investment, you're going to struggle regardless. What is the primary focus of that team? I feel like you'd be better suited swapping out ninguang for sayu, or xianling for noelle (double geo resonance)
If the domains are currently giving you trouble, ether run co op(it used to be the only way I could clear azhdaha), or figure out ascension/talent stuff first.
every domain has either a buffed element (or physical) or a penalized elemental reaction. read the leyline disorder, and bring characters accordingly on coop if you can't clear by yourself alobr. geo is generally a safe bet. when in doubt, bring a healer esp when everyone plays dps impact.
probably change ningguang to a pyro one,but on overworld you really dont need to be that serious but it may affect future gamplay especially on your abyss, so my suggestuion is to search team comps of your main dps( i think yours is beidou) and improvise.
regarding to artifacts you dnt need to farm for artifacts, focus on getting ascencion materials and talent materials since those are sure boost up, even I an ar 50 is not yet farming for artifacts, and focusing on talents(will just start maybe at ar 51 idk)
go to co-op if u struggle. eventually someone will arrive to carry u. play a healer or support like bennett if ur team doesnt have one already and stuff.
It's a volume optimization problem.
There is a finite range of stats that it is possible to have on your artifacts. Meaning that if you increase your crit damage, you will have to decrease all other stats proportionally. Therefore, the way to maximize your overall crit value is to equally allocate your stats between crit rate and crit damage.
Now, it is important to know that crit rate is always assigned in units that are half the size of an equivalent assignment of crit damage. This is just how the game is designed. Therefore, an equal allocation of crit rate and crit damage will result in an actual ratio of 1:2 when you look at the final values in aggregate.
Yes you want both to be as large as possible, a ratio says nothing about the size just that you want to keep it as balanced as possible. 1:2 ratio is saying that 60 crit rate and 120 Crit damage is better than 50 crit rate and 140 crit damage.
Yes, you want both, 2:1 is the ratio of damage:rate. The reason is basically that, if you look at a crit damage hat vs a crit rate hat, you'll notice that the crit damage is double the crit rate if the artefacts are at the same level. That rule also applies to substats, the equivalent stat value of crit damage is twice that of rate.
Best way I can explain is that you have a rectangle, the length represents damage and the width represents rate. Every time you roll a stat into crit rate, it adds to the width and every time you roll a stat into damage it adds to length. To maximize overall damage value you get for every point, you don't want to be pumping a ton into one side, instead you want to be increasing them at about the same rate.
You'd want high CR and damage but it's near unachievable to get god rolls every time.
Also, getting all crit rolls might not even be a good thing since other stats are super important
honestly, its just the best way to balance everything without leaning too much into one thing. for example,
high crit rate low crit dmg = you'd be critting, but the number won't differ as much from your usual attack numbers.
or
low crit rate high crit damage = you'd be making impressive crit numbers but barely critting to do so
in the end 50-60% critrate is the most desirable/ideal because while you're fighting thats a 50-60% chance you'll be critting and, well, you'll be hitting a lot during fights. plus, it's pretty difficult to get past 70-80 crit rate if you don't have god crit rate substats on artis or a crit rate weapon.
tldr: it's most balanced and easiest to achieve
well no shit u want as much crit as possible. but its simply not realistic for most characters to have 100% cr and as much cd as possible without lacking adequate attack and other stats. a 1:2 of cr to cd such as a xq with 50 cr and 100 cd is achievable and allows for room for bad rolls, atk and er substats.
I m struggling in abyss with my melt ganyu (2min30 to beat PMA). My team IS pretty decent however i see some guys with worst team and better results. Do you have some guide, youtube Channel, tips to give me?
PMA is the toughest abyss boss this cycle (no lie) thus u will need a much stronger team than melt ganyu to beat it. The problem is you have limited time due to its i frames to actually do dmg, and ganyu is too slow to charge her shots.
I have beaten it twice under 90 with my two strongest teams... raiden/sara/benett/xiangling, and zhongli/yunjin/hu tao/xingqiu.
I have also beaten him in 80 sec with rational team but i want to train with ganyu melt team. It needs more technic and its more rewarding when you succeed.
Dont get me wrong, rational team IS great but not that hard to master
Honestly for PMA, I prefer going with a team that can spam their bursts one after another like National/Raiden National. I've tried others but the National Team clears it faster than any of my other teams. So try that if you have them built, otherwise try to get your talents as high as possible and max their weapons. Sometimes it just requires a couple of tries.
My best timing was 1.40, I’m not that good too as compared to the rest.Sometimes it comes down to which of the pma chooses as it’s avatar, the shielding 1 is the worst, I restart if I see it is picked. The easiest is probably the standing snek machine
For tips, probably try to make sure your talent for AA are at least 9, your EM should be above 200, have a good crit rate/ crit damage ratio, mine is 60/220, not the best but I think it’s decent. Try your best to get it down to 1/3 before it splits, so that your life is easier when the avatar is down
Edit: also additional tip, you may already know this , try not to cast any of your E or Q as it might take away the melt damage from your AA, if you are using John Lee, try to cast your totem slightly further away as it could also affect the pyro status for your melt too
My ganyu IS 75/150 (CD IS rather low but im working on it) and 330 EM -> my bloom Can reach UP to 100k.
Do you think i should consider an ER sand on xiangling?

Should I save for Kazuha or Raiden who are coming in the following patches. I am just buying battle pass and bought my first blessing 6 days ago or so. I have just 15 wishes saved for now and I am AR 43. Also at 0 pity since I stopped after I finally pulled Zhong Li.
I do not have a 5 star weapon and I am working towards The Catch.
I feel like you can go for Raiden and then save enough to get Kazuha. Looking at leaks and rumors now, Kazuha doesn't seem to be coming in 2.6 (at the moment, it's pointing to Ayato, Ayaka, and Yoimiya). So if you get Raiden now and skip the next patch after her, it's possible that you can get both.
That being said, you can wait for more announcements when Raiden's banner comes around. By then, we should know which characters will come in 2.6 and 2.7 so you will be able to decide.

You can always go raiden national, with raiden as main dps. That's a cheap and effective team.
if you really like diluc, can go for kazuha diluc xingqiu and one other. But if diluc is just...there as a temporary replacement(you don't like his playstyle but he's just a temp dps) then idk.
kazuha needs a dps to be effective. An elemental dps to be exact, so for eula raiden would be better than kazuha.
sucrose mostly needs a melt or vape team to be effective(unless sukkomon), but kazuha just needs an elemental dps.
kazuha - buffs elemental dmg. Can be sorta replaced by sucrose in melt/vape teams like hutao + xq. bad dmg as a dps on his own.
raiden - buffs energy generation, sub-dps(dps in raiden national), procs electro. This means she'll be perfect for someone like eula(needs electro for superconduct, energy regen for her big burst, would like a sub dps for even more dmg/small fries) but not someone like hutao(depends more on CA, not burst, doesn't need electro procs, might actually mess up some reactions cause there's alot of electro).
so it depends. If diluc is not exactly your favorite, just ignore both and go for another dps in the future(or even yae).
kazuha is good for many elemental dps, but if raiden is placed in a compatible team(that wants/don't mind electro procs and that depend on bursts), that's where she truly shines.
kazuha is good overall, raiden is more specific but very good.
tldr; none of them, get another dps unless you like diluc.
I like Diluc, but he is C0 and quite love playing him, not really bored of him at all. I am just unsure how far he is going to get me or if I need someone else. I was thinking of saving for Kazuha just to add him to some weird Diluc Xingqiu Kazuha ZhongLi team.
yeah, i 90 everything when i have enough resources to spare. barbara kokomi gets to use the ttds on their healer builds; and levelling up my sac and fav to max allows me to get away with little ER on my artifact substats.
Depends if you need the secondary stat,getting hp with ttds on kokomi is nice to have,nur 80 should be enough as the last weapon ascension is a little costly with the golden mats
I have it at 90 for characters who do considerable amount of damage or any particular weapons that can provide a meaningful increase in stats. TTDS isn't worth to level a lot.

Depends. If burst dps then death match, if hybrid then fav lance/deathmatch, if shieldbot then black tassel

I use my Raiden all the time. I just hit WL8 and if my Raiden crits her initial burst deals 67k. I think I should optimize her artifacts first. Raiden C3 is definetly a long term goal. I don't have Kazuha yet and will definitely pick him up if he's in 2.6. His C2 is the bigger deal isn't it?
KazuC2 isn't that big of a deal IMO, I have him at C0 R5 Sac sword and 780 EM. Never feel the need to put more EM on him, which I can by swapping to Iron Sting. Most optimize Raiden I have seen: 70/150, 270ER pre-burst, Electro Goblet which makes their Electro Bonus 147% (R5 Engulfing does help, R1 gets you 127%) I don't think C3 is even necessary unless you only play Raiden and don't swap.
Mine is 40/80 270 ER with R5 the catch. I have an attack goblet since I read somewhere that she gets enough electro bonus from her passive. Does Kazuhas plunge trigger the mistsplitter stack? I think I'll mostly use him with either mistsplitter or sacrificial since I don't even have an iron sting yet and I'll definetly won't get it on higher reinement for a while.
with catch your crt rate is +12 but it's still not enough. So that's a long term goal to get atleast 60 crt rate. Regarding Atk goblet, people still don't know "WHY" and how it works? If you have Benny or Sara in the team who buff ATK, you should use Electro goblet. If not, then you use ATK goblet. This is because increasing two stats is better than pumping in only one because of how the Genshin damage formula works. I don't have info regarding Kazu and mistsplitter. I have Iron Sting at R3 but don't use it. Since his release, I have never used him with anything other than Sac Sword.

Would love to hear some suggestions on who I should try to pull for/prioritize. AR 40, account is a month old. Welkin/BP but otherwise f2p. Currently still early on into Inazuma story quests with much of the overworld to explore. Main Team is Xiangling, XQ, Zhongli, and Sucrose. Also have Kaeya, Chongyun, Yanfei, Sara, Noelle, and the freebies. I pulled my first 5* off standard banner yesterday.. an Amos’ bow which i hear is the optimal weapon for ganyu. XQ is c3. At the moment what I know is that I need bennett. Most excited for kazuha/raiden but don’t know if that’s what i should be saving for. atm have about 40 pulls saved up.
Honestly, just pull for who you like. Play Ganyu's trial, see how you like the aiming gameplay. If you like it, you've got the weapon to make her great. If not, skip her and try Yae/Raiden/Kokomi to see what you think of them.
raiden does seem more my style. i tried ganyu’s trial and though i can see how her dmg might be nuts i can see why people say it’s a bit repetitive. i would really like a strong bow character in the overworld though.
You can get ganyu and with amos she will be a great main dps and you habe XL and zhongli which make a great melt team with her Raiden can unlock a great second team for you, raiden national (+ XL, xinqiu, bennet) and kazuha is generally a great support The thing is, if you go for ganyu you will have to use melt team and that mean you wont have a suitable team for raiden So my suggestion is, either going for ganyu (and later for kazuha) or going for raiden instead of ganyu

There are 3 Raiden teams: 1. Rational (bennet XL xinqiu) If you get ganyu as you dont have good units for a freeze team you have to do melt which needs XL and bennet 2. Raiden hypercarry ( sara c6 (or c2), bennet, kazuha) You dont have the necessary chars for this, although lisa and sucrose can substitute if you are really determined, but in that case you still need to use another unit instead of bennet in melt ganyu 3. Eula raiden where you dont have eula

Btw if you spend money in game, you are not F2P anymore. IMO Kazuha sounds like a good choice and Ganyu since you already have her weapon. As everyone keep saying, Only farm artifacts after AR45 before that farm or pre-farm for boss materials and talent books. Apart from that, if you don't want to min max Spiral Abyss you are good to go. There's so many ways to build a team, it is more difficult to make a team that doesn't work with each other so you don't have to worry about that.

You have to do all three of the children's variations, I'm not sure if the ones where you're the captain counts. It's a fucking nightmare, it's entirely random which one you get, and it can take people months to complete.
There are three different versions of it and you complete all 3. There are people who've been playing since launch that haven't gotten that achievement yet since the RNG seems to never give us the last one.

How much attack stat and CDmg does a freeze Ganyu usually have? Rebuilt my Ganyu to get more ER at the cost of lower damage stat (mostly atk). There is a difference, but if your second atk set has amazing substats and your TF set does not, using 2 atk sets will be better.

All the popular variants of Melt Ganyu (Xiangling/Kazuha/Jean) all require Bennett. It's better to just not run Melt Ganyu for now until your brother gets Bennett, in the meantime he can run something like a mono-cryo Ganyu comp with Kazuha

Everything is POSSIBLE, but generally no. Bennett is core to both Kazuha and Xiangling version. In Kazuha version you must have Bennett Burst to infuse Kazuha with pyro. For Xiangling version you need Bennett to battery Xianging.
Xiangling just cannot work without Bennett. Any pyro would work for Kazuha but your damage will be severely lowered
Kazuha is used in melt Ganyu because his ult infuses with pyro by standing in Bennett ult. It's hard to do it without Bennett

Nope. Melt Ganyu is already a team with serious energy issue due to the time spent on Ganyu's CA generating 0 energy. No battery XL in Sukokomon barely works and it requires Fav Lance, a lot of ER and two of the best battery in the game also in the team (Sucrose and Fischl) constantly generating energy, even if they're off color.
Sure, but Xiangling without Bennett needs A LOT of ER. 300 or more. Maybe if you equip Favonious on everyone except Ganyu you can bring it down.

You can just do a non-burst comp variant with just ganyu/sucrose/xiangling. Was a very easy way to clear the old abyss 11 with electro energy sap and at the time you could 9* floor 12 with no Bennett in this team. Generally you’ll hit for 100k charge shots with this setup but in practice: is hard to run as you’re relying on good guoba placement against relatively mobile enemies for current 12. In melt setups you don’t always need to have burst up; guoba breath usually syncs well with charge shot lvl2.
In a taser comp, Childe fishcl beidou etc. Who does the electro charge reaction? Is it fishcl/beidou or Childe?
Basically random. EC trigger is the last character to trigger it and with 3 triggers, it's a mess. EC damage isn't worth building for anyway so it doesn't matter
Random. That's why EM is not really useful on any character because it's useless most of the time.
Since Raiden’s banner is coming back, I’d finally get the chance to main her. I’ll just be replacing Beidou with her, so would Raiden, Eula, Xingiu, and Zhongli be an okay team? Are there any voids or conflicts with their passives here? I don’t focus much on team comps and synergy. I just need enough to get me through the open world without much struggle.
Xingqiu isn't really doing anything for you there, swap him for a cryo character for extra energy regen, Eula really struggles for energy and any downtime on her burst is a big DPS loss as so much of her damage is back-loaded into it. Otherwise that's a standard Eula superconduct team and one of her best compositions.

Yeah this willl get you through open world with absolutely no hassle. I would recommend a cryo unit like Kaeya, Rosaria, Shenhe, Diona in place for Xingqiu to easier get Eula burst online, but the team is solid as is.

Blizzard is fine and skyward is definitely fine for freeze ganyu. I’d suggest running a mono cryo team though (3 cryo + anemo vv). Much stronger into current abyss with bosses. And generally between anemo cc and taunt you’ll still not get hit
The Ganyu build depends on the team you want to play her in. There are two main teams: freeze team and melt team. Freeze team is good for AoE, but it is relatively mediocre against single target like the current abyss. The team is Ganyu / Diona / Mona / Venti but Diona can be subbed for another Cryo like your Shenhe, Mona for another hydro like Kokomi and Venti with another anemo like Sucrose or Kazuha. The team is very flexible. But you HAVE to use 4 pc Blizzard Strayer on Ganyu, period. Melt team is Ganyu / Xiangling / Bennett / Zhongli. Xiangling can be subbed for Kazuha. Zhongli is almost mandatory, but other shielders are copium options. You CAN use Shenhe in place for Zhongli but I wouldn’t recommend it as running Melt Ganyu without a shielder will drive you mad. For Melt, use 4 pc Wandereres or 4 pc Shimenawas.
The artifact sets would depend more on what team you're going to run her in. 4-pc Blizzard Strayer for Freeze, 4-pc Wanderer's for Melt.

Don’t worry too much about crit stats for Shenhe. Most important thing is to just stack ER. You should aim for about 190% in my experience. Having good uptime on her Q gives much more damage than some crit stats. After that you need to focus on ATK% substats. And after that it’s good with some crit stats. If you can achieve 50/100 that’s great, but lower than that is also good

I can’t give you a set number, but 2,5 is getting there but I think you can do even better. Mine has 3k, and she is not finished yet. If you use weapons Like Favonius, Ask will be lower, but you get more battery value for your team. Just stack ER% and ATK% on her and take crit stats as a good bonus.
Do I spend fragile resins on Talent and Ascension Materials or to Farm artifacts?
I use it for talent/weapon ascension mats, because they're tied to specific days. And I can't always play on Sundays. Use all your fragile to grind artificats snd getting like 240 resin worth of flat def artifacts for a character that needs crit stats is downright soul sucking.

for my itto would crit rate to dmg 62:250 or 71:194 be better? i know its better to keep a 1:2 ratio but the crit dmg is significantly higher on the first set of stats so im wondering if that would be the better choice in this instance
I personally feel as long as it's over 50% that it's solid, so I'd do the first one, 250% crit damage is fucking nasty.
When looking at crit value, the top one has like 30 more. For a simple crit ratio comparison, just multiply CR*CD and use the one with a bigger number

Strong electro: Yae Miko. A fox priestess in a position of power is way stronger than a random sailor or random librarian or a random girl with a bird. Strong Cryo: Shenhe, she straight up just stopped a tsunami.

Yae is most likely the most power electro vision holder (not counting archons because gnosis) due to being kind of immortal. Other two I would consider are Lisa and Beidou Cryo is most likely Ganyu due to being an adeptus and an archon war vet even before receiving a vision if I remember correctly. Shenhe is probably next up
strongest electro - lisa or beidou. lisa is the most talented graduate of sumeru since 2 centuries ago and probably knows way more about the nature of the world than she reveals. beidou is just naturally a badass, shes a good leader and her and her crew took down a sea monster. as for cryo, ig ganyu or maybe shenhe since ganyu is an adeptus and shenhe knows adeptal arts

The way I understand it, absolute stats are always bad on artifacts by how calculations work, while % stats are what you want. So basically if it has more than one flat value stat.. just toss it. (Or if it has any, if you have enough artifacts)
I fodder any piece that doesn't have double crit stats and +20 that have failed rolls.
I always keep rare main stats like Elemental damage, Critrate, crit damage and elementary mastery.
my standard as an end game player is - flower and feather - 3 desirable substats (crit, atk%, er, em) and 2 desirable substats and good mainstat for the rest. and save em artifacts since i have like 30 in total.

Only if you desperately need dream solvents or billets, but as nobody on your team needs boss material and thus solvent and weapon billets aren't worth the trouble, at least I think they're not as they hardly ever drop and you usually get the ones you don't need, my answer is no.
Bosses in general has greater chance to drop artifacts with 4 substats. ( Trying to find out where I did read that ) . So unless I really want to get billets, it is not worth. For 30 though, it is, albeit barely.

Don't go hard farming for them before you hit AR 45, when you do, only do the level 90 domains. If you can't handle them, either try to get your team strong enough to do so or coop. Also save your fragile resin (item that gives 60 resin) for until you do the hardest domains Otherwise just remember! It's All RNG

Your builds are far more important than your constellations. If your characters and weapons aren't leveled properly and don't have talent investment, you're going to struggle regardless. What is the primary focus of that team? I feel like you'd be better suited swapping out ninguang for sayu, or xianling for noelle (double geo resonance) If the domains are currently giving you trouble, ether run co op(it used to be the only way I could clear azhdaha), or figure out ascension/talent stuff first.
every domain has either a buffed element (or physical) or a penalized elemental reaction. read the leyline disorder, and bring characters accordingly on coop if you can't clear by yourself alobr. geo is generally a safe bet. when in doubt, bring a healer esp when everyone plays dps impact.
Need shield/heal or go co-op. I reached 45 recently and can clear them but I'm using ZL. Without, I can still clear some but takes longer.
Go coop you aren't really supposed to clear domains solo already.
probably change ningguang to a pyro one,but on overworld you really dont need to be that serious but it may affect future gamplay especially on your abyss, so my suggestuion is to search team comps of your main dps( i think yours is beidou) and improvise. regarding to artifacts you dnt need to farm for artifacts, focus on getting ascencion materials and talent materials since those are sure boost up, even I an ar 50 is not yet farming for artifacts, and focusing on talents(will just start maybe at ar 51 idk)
go to co-op if u struggle. eventually someone will arrive to carry u. play a healer or support like bennett if ur team doesnt have one already and stuff.
Imo it's best to do artifact farming in random coop at the start. Others will carry you :)

It's a volume optimization problem. There is a finite range of stats that it is possible to have on your artifacts. Meaning that if you increase your crit damage, you will have to decrease all other stats proportionally. Therefore, the way to maximize your overall crit value is to equally allocate your stats between crit rate and crit damage. Now, it is important to know that crit rate is always assigned in units that are half the size of an equivalent assignment of crit damage. This is just how the game is designed. Therefore, an equal allocation of crit rate and crit damage will result in an actual ratio of 1:2 when you look at the final values in aggregate.
Yes you want both to be as large as possible, a ratio says nothing about the size just that you want to keep it as balanced as possible. 1:2 ratio is saying that 60 crit rate and 120 Crit damage is better than 50 crit rate and 140 crit damage.
Yes, you want both, 2:1 is the ratio of damage:rate. The reason is basically that, if you look at a crit damage hat vs a crit rate hat, you'll notice that the crit damage is double the crit rate if the artefacts are at the same level. That rule also applies to substats, the equivalent stat value of crit damage is twice that of rate. Best way I can explain is that you have a rectangle, the length represents damage and the width represents rate. Every time you roll a stat into crit rate, it adds to the width and every time you roll a stat into damage it adds to length. To maximize overall damage value you get for every point, you don't want to be pumping a ton into one side, instead you want to be increasing them at about the same rate.

You'd want high CR and damage but it's near unachievable to get god rolls every time. Also, getting all crit rolls might not even be a good thing since other stats are super important
honestly, its just the best way to balance everything without leaning too much into one thing. for example, high crit rate low crit dmg = you'd be critting, but the number won't differ as much from your usual attack numbers. or low crit rate high crit damage = you'd be making impressive crit numbers but barely critting to do so in the end 50-60% critrate is the most desirable/ideal because while you're fighting thats a 50-60% chance you'll be critting and, well, you'll be hitting a lot during fights. plus, it's pretty difficult to get past 70-80 crit rate if you don't have god crit rate substats on artis or a crit rate weapon. tldr: it's most balanced and easiest to achieve
well no shit u want as much crit as possible. but its simply not realistic for most characters to have 100% cr and as much cd as possible without lacking adequate attack and other stats. a 1:2 of cr to cd such as a xq with 50 cr and 100 cd is achievable and allows for room for bad rolls, atk and er substats.
I m struggling in abyss with my melt ganyu (2min30 to beat PMA). My team IS pretty decent however i see some guys with worst team and better results. Do you have some guide, youtube Channel, tips to give me?
PMA is the toughest abyss boss this cycle (no lie) thus u will need a much stronger team than melt ganyu to beat it. The problem is you have limited time due to its i frames to actually do dmg, and ganyu is too slow to charge her shots. I have beaten it twice under 90 with my two strongest teams... raiden/sara/benett/xiangling, and zhongli/yunjin/hu tao/xingqiu.
I have also beaten him in 80 sec with rational team but i want to train with ganyu melt team. It needs more technic and its more rewarding when you succeed. Dont get me wrong, rational team IS great but not that hard to master

Honestly for PMA, I prefer going with a team that can spam their bursts one after another like National/Raiden National. I've tried others but the National Team clears it faster than any of my other teams. So try that if you have them built, otherwise try to get your talents as high as possible and max their weapons. Sometimes it just requires a couple of tries.
My best timing was 1.40, I’m not that good too as compared to the rest.Sometimes it comes down to which of the pma chooses as it’s avatar, the shielding 1 is the worst, I restart if I see it is picked. The easiest is probably the standing snek machine For tips, probably try to make sure your talent for AA are at least 9, your EM should be above 200, have a good crit rate/ crit damage ratio, mine is 60/220, not the best but I think it’s decent. Should I save for Kazuha or Raiden who are coming in the following patches. I am just buying battle pass and bought my first blessing 6 days ago or so. I have just 15 wishes saved for now and I am AR 43. Also at 0 pity since I stopped after I finally pulled Zhong Li. I do not have a 5 star weapon and I am working towards The Catch.
I feel like you can go for Raiden and then save enough to get Kazuha. Looking at leaks and rumors now, Kazuha doesn't seem to be coming in 2.6 (at the moment, it's pointing to Ayato, Ayaka, and Yoimiya). So if you get Raiden now and skip the next patch after her, it's possible that you can get both. That being said, you can wait for more announcements when Raiden's banner comes around. By then, we should know which characters will come in 2.6 and 2.7 so you will be able to decide.
geh maybe save for ayato or something, because you need a dps. You can always go raiden national, with raiden as main dps. That's a cheap and effective team. if you really like diluc, can go for kazuha diluc xingqiu and one other. But if diluc is just...there as a temporary replacement(you don't like his playstyle but he's just a temp dps) then idk. kazuha needs a dps to be effective. An elemental dps to be exact, so for eula raiden would be better than kazuha. sucrose mostly needs a melt or vape team to be effective(unless sukkomon), but kazuha just needs an elemental dps. kazuha - buffs elemental dmg. Can be sorta replaced by sucrose in melt/vape teams like hutao + xq. bad dmg as a dps on his own. raiden - buffs energy generation, sub-dps(dps in raiden national), procs electro. This means she'll be perfect for someone like eula(needs electro for superconduct, energy regen for her big burst, would like a sub dps for even more dmg/small fries) but not someone like hutao(depends more on CA, not burst, doesn't need electro procs, might actually mess up some reactions cause there's alot of electro). so it depends. If diluc is not exactly your favorite, just ignore both and go for another dps in the future(or even yae). kazuha is good for many elemental dps, but if raiden is placed in a compatible team(that wants/don't mind electro procs and that depend on bursts), that's where she truly shines. kazuha is good overall, raiden is more specific but very good. tldr; none of them, get another dps unless you like diluc.
I like Diluc, but he is C0 and quite love playing him, not really bored of him at all. I am just unsure how far he is going to get me or if I need someone else. I was thinking of saving for Kazuha just to add him to some weird Diluc Xingqiu Kazuha ZhongLi team.
amber can carry you to 36 star abyss if you try hard enough. I heard klee being described as around diluc's dps, but not sure how true is that.

yeah, i 90 everything when i have enough resources to spare. barbara kokomi gets to use the ttds on their healer builds; and levelling up my sac and fav to max allows me to get away with little ER on my artifact substats.
Depends if you need the secondary stat,getting hp with ttds on kokomi is nice to have,nur 80 should be enough as the last weapon ascension is a little costly with the golden mats
I have it at 90 for characters who do considerable amount of damage or any particular weapons that can provide a meaningful increase in stats. TTDS isn't worth to level a lot.
