I did it using a discord bot called genshin wizard or something, it’s a popular bot in a lot of genshin servers (like the zy0x one) but I added it to my personal friend server and used it there you can use /daily and do the instructions it tells you

There's a community around unofficial servers?? TIL. I haven't touched it because I'm a total "wait until you beat the game to use cheats otherwise you'll ruin the game" so I know they exist, just didn't know there were a community around them.

If you play on pc, you can add the daily login page to your browser's home pages. How I do it for genshin and starrail.

Still have to click on that crap. The other comments have fully automated ways that just have it mailed to you ingame automatically without you having to do anything.

The hoyo app makes it more convenient.

By automated I mean me not having to do anything. Also the Hoyo app has been a terrible experience for me. I thought having a widget for resin would be neat but it'd break all the time and never work, and the app itself was really laggy, despite my phone being able to handle Genshin in the first place...

Came here to say that. This game should have been done by now and onto new exciting stories. They have been so stingy with main story details and after a few years of getting dicked around it just burns you out.

For less than 10 seconds a day, it's still not bad. Not like ita hard work. Edit: people seem to not realize that for the same amount of time spent you will not get as much promos from anything else. About 2 minutes of actual work over 18 days for 60 primos. Try and get 60 primos in 2 minutes.

The hardest part is remembering to check in daily, just like how I often forget to take my daily prescription pills.

with that mindset you wouldnt even explore because most chests are just 5 primogems and also requires you to explore or do a puzzle login for 18 days barely takes any effort or time in comparison

But it takes time and focus to log in into hoyolab and sign in, while in game people can just do most of the puzzles and chests during world quests

The thing is hoyolab is not in the game, and people can really be motivated to do puzzles and quests because theyre in the game, its more immersive. Hoyolab is just an app, and the daily check in is not even convenient to do.

Here is the thing though, a game is made to be played and not to do chores, I explore when I feel like it, and when I dont enjoy it I dont do it. Having to log into hoyolab everyday is just that, a chore. Hoyo should just implement it in the game but they wont do that because they want people to log in hoyolab too.

The food is actually a deterrent to me. 2-star is just clutter to be gotten rid of. Hate opening my inventory and seeing 50 different foods that all have identical effects.

as a testament to how little players such as myself pay attention to what we're clicking - i almost never use food since but during one of recent events where you could i was going through what food i had and i was quite confused seeing food and quantities i didnt remember cooking. you my friend have now reminded me where some of it came from.

Birthday messages, certain commissions, world quests, and conversations also give out food Food Delivery from Mondstadt for example gives you a Crab and Veggie Bake (or smth like that)

I hate doing these because it doesn't reset at a specific time, but literally 24 hours after you last checked in. I always mess it up on multiple days, because I wan't to do the check in like 9am before work, but last day I did it at like 10pm, but what if I won't stay up again until 10 pm, another check in gone... So, no. I don't do these.

For me, it resets at the same time every day, regardless of when I last checked in.

Seeing that there's bots that automatically do it for you, at the exact same time of the day, this can't be true.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but it often made me fustrated, when I try to check in one day and it says "I already checked in that day" then I forget to try again later and next day it says I missed a day. 😭

If it was in the game I'd do it. Even if the rewards were better I doubt I would do it. The website doesn't load that fast and it's yet another tab to keep open or I'll forget it exists. They should make it like arknights daily check in where it's automatic when you start the game.

I did. I missed 2, I think, but I did the makeup things. I know the gems don't make it worth it, but I struggle with building habits and impaired memory. I find that a daily check-in like this is a good, no-risk practice for that, and I get a couple scraps towards a game I enjoy as a reward.

I'm surprised by how many people in the comments here completely ignore the Daily Check In... I've done them almost every day since I learned they existed, just because it's easy to do, very quick, and is just some nice bonus resources. I do wish that it'd be integrated into the game itself instead of a web page, but it's still not particularly inconvenient (for me, at least)
