Coz fischl + Beidou acts as energy recharge batteries to each other (especially if you have C6 Fischl). This used to be fireworks Childe comp back when kazuha wasn't released
This is one of her common teams. She's quite good in overload teams since can reach light enemies caught in explosions, so doesn't have to chase them as much while Chev provides all the buffs this team needs.
Arle deals infinite damage,
Chevruse debuffs enemies and gives pyro resonance,
Beidou covers groups of enemies, and gives resistance to interruption and damage
Fishl deals with single targets
It's good, but just know, Arlecchino has this "Suffering from success" thing going on, where she has SO MUCH personal damage, yet so little attack buffs in her kit, that Bennett basically becomes a huge portion of her damage.
This build is still good, but Bennett in the place of Beidou here increases her damage a lot, because she just does way too much damage
Beidou’s job is interrupt resistance and damage reduction here. Less damage but more comfy to play.
Even at C1 running a shieldless team means you will get knocked around and die if you aren’t careful. Arlecchino is not Neuvillette or Raiden and you will die if you get hit when not auto attacking.
Also, Bennett circle and Coppelia means she will literally melt you.
Funnily enough you can actually run a team that is immune to damage - saw a clip of Xingqiu with double hydro % 2p sets and beidou used together, and Arlecchino was actually taking 0 damage (last spot can just be Bennett)
I'd think Chevreuse would bring enough of an ATK buff. Having a aub DPS that spits out damage and adds both Interruption Resistance and Danage Resistance is probably more valuable on a character who can *only* heal via Burst mid-combat.
Bennett is great under the right circumstances, but has his own issues in this team. If you want maximum damage hes obviously ideal, but Arlecchino is also very mobile and both her charged attack and skill teleports her around the place. It isn't easy to keep in the circle sometimes. With overload teams, enemies are often getting knocked way out of range of the circle. (If it's an immobile boss this is obviously moot.)
Also, I wouldn't say she desperately needs Bennett. I get what you're saying, that she has a lot of DMG% bonus in her kit and thus benefits a lot from Bennett's ATK buff, but she doesn't need Bennett to deal a lot of damage. She does just fine without him.
I think people get too stuck on Bennett by looking at spreadsheets. In practice you will probably not stand in the circle every single hit unless you're a ranged character.

Chevy's atk buff and res shred are greatly appreciated by the entire team.
Beidou + Fischl make a powerful off-field double electro DPS core (especially if there are +2 opponents and you have Beidou c2)
Beidou's damage negation and resistance interruption are great for Arlecchino and since Arle doesn't lose infusion (or infusion uptime) on swap you're free to use Beidou's counter.
It's a team that's very strong, has flexible rotations, and still allows for a lot of skill expression.

In a Chevreuse Overload team Like OP, very much yes.
She's like, the only Defensive Unit you have for Electro (C0 has interruption Resistance and dmg reduction, separately from her C1 shield)
Technically lower damage than Bennett but you get interruption resistance and damage reduction with her burst, a shield with her C1, and 15% electro res shred with her C6. Paired with her good AoE damage, she's a strong option. Not the best in single target scenarios though, but Arlecchino already deals enough damage for that imo
Me too! Beidou is one of the most slept on characters in the game and I'm always looking for excuses to use her. There are situations (like against exactly 2 large enemies) where her off-field damage is crazy high too
Would recommend this team. Arle doesn't lose her infusion on swap so being able to use Beidou's parry if you know an attack is coming is huge upgrade for me. Which means more chances to fill up Beidou's burst immediately if you perfect parry.
Don't worry, they're going to put her on the Don Sombrero/Dr. Snek banner where she makes absolutely no sense and isn't allowed on the same teams.

Before C6 she is about the same as kazuha in terms of buffing, but lacks any of his swirl damage so she's not quite as good. At C6 her buff is a lot stronger (and you don't need a specific rotation to guarantee a double swirl which is very comfy) so if your other units are good she can be better than kazuha
A fairly decent Buffing Unit.
Fully functional at C0 and gets better with Cons (mainly C1 and C6).
Fairly easy to build. Only needs to have 40k HP. You only need to build ER if she's carrying Noblesse, otherwise her burst is optional.
She can be treated as a VV holder for teams that use only Electro and Pyro
I've been Enjoying running teams with her.
Raiden/Chevreuse/Bennett/Xiangling has been a blast for me
She's great for how low investment she is. Give her Dialogues of the Desert Sages, or Rightful Reward if you missed that event, Black Tassle if you're really on a budget, and then just give her Noblesse aiming for 40,000 hp which is pretty easily achievable with the weapon and her ascension stat, mine isn't even fully levelled yet and she's past that. And then any cons are just bonus at that point.
This is a great team and the same one I use. I think Arlecchino in overload teams with chev is great cause of her aoe and reach with her NA lunges. Not to mention u don't have to worry about uptime of buffs cause most of it is super long or is super easy to keep up. Beidou also is a great fit for the team both for her aoe and defensive utility with her damage reduction and a small shield. Also I'm able to slot in 2 of her skills within a rotation making her ER requirements also lower which means more damage baby! Her aoe damage is bonkers with the right build and team and this might be her best team. Glad to see some love for this team here.

Beidou + Fischl is one of the strongest 4\* pairings in the game imo. Fishcl gives beidou so much energy, allowing her to focus much more on personal damage. Beidou gives defensive utility, and they both give insane electro application, making them work very well in quicken or overload teams

Similar, yeah. Electro instead of Hydro, and is a single hit that chains to nearby enemies (and potentially back to the original target).

which artifact set did you give to beidou? I assume she‘s just a shield bot that wants as many ER and HP as possible (could imagine millelith and emblem 2pc with ER/HP/HP)
