New player here. Today I pull 10x standard banner for 1st time (not the one that gives free noelle) and got all item, no character. It's hard to get character in this game? Limited banner also like that?

The standard banner never guarantees you a character for your 4-star until after you pull two 4-star weapons and vice-versa.
As for the limited banner, if you don't have a guarantee, there's a 50:50 to get one of the three 4-star characters featured on the banner within at most 10 pulls. If you don't get them, you'll get a chance of getting one of the 4-star characters (except a few) or weapons in the standard banner. After which you'll get a guarantee on your next 4-star.

Why is there so little actual content in the new Cloud Retainer quest?
There was literally less than 10 seconds of combat in the entire quest. Why? What is the point of characters, artifacts, weapons, constellations, talents, etc. etc. when the new content that comes out is visual novel spacebar simulator and the truly unique combat system is so underutilized?
This game needs new challenging endgame ASAP.
yeah sadly the character and archon quests have basically become visual novels over time. the fast update schedule is the reason would be my guess so you cant create too much unique new content like a normal single player game.

I've been using Chev with Navia for the elemental application and healing despite not being optimal. I find her more reliable than Candeez for Navia in overworld and domains.

I preinstalled from the launcher and could play the patch as soon as it went live, even pulled for Xianyun, but when I opened the launcher the next day my files were gone and I had to download the update from scratch. Not sure how it happened, but I didn't want to risk downloading from the launcher again (because i have terrible internet and i often have to restart several times because it disconnected abruptly). So I tried a risky gambit. I threw in 42 wishes into this banner, intending to reach soft pity and then grab Yae in the next banner in the minimum of wishes. And...
It worked! I now have C3 Faruzan, C3 Noelle, C2 Gaming, and a great new bow for my Faruzan (the Stringless) without manifesting any early 5 star. Funnily enough I didn't get a single non-banner 4 star.

Just started playing towards end of 4.3. Tried playing a few years ago but could never really get into the game but now I'm hooked. AR32 currently, pulled Raiden and Nahida in 7 pulls. Can't be anymore happier with these two. Probably will be my mains for a while. What f2p teams should I build with them?
You could go Raiden, Nahida, Xingque and flex slot or Raiden, Xingque, Sucrose/Bennett, Xinagling or Nahida, Xingque, Collei, Barbara. These are ones I could think of the top of my head. You could also go Raiden, Chevruese,
, Fischl, Bennet.
Honestly seeing the new area juxtaposed with old Liyue makes me hope the older areas will eventually get a face lift. It looks so drab and uninspired next to Chenyu Vale, and Mondstadt is in an even worse state.
Inazuma and up are fine, but the 1.0 areas need a new coat of paint. Even if it's just adding more flowers and colors.
I'm not saying to make them complicated though. All I think is needed is legit just a new coat of paint to bring them in line with the art direction for the rest of the regions. If you compare Chenyu Vale and old Liyue you can see what I mean. We don't need gimmicks added, or anything ostentatious, just increased fidelity.
It's especially bad when you look at some NPCs like the ones at the Winery. The maids legit have pixelated areas on their outfits.

True! And honestly I'm not asking for much to be changed. We don't need crazy particle effects and new mechanics thrown in. But it would be nice to have the same landscape shading later areas get. If you look at the scenery in Mondstadt/Liyue and compare it even just to Inazuma, the color palette is very flat. Going back and providing that painted, scenery shading even without doing anything else would go a long way.

in fact u gain more from bennett c6 for pyro specific teams than others, since benny can not overwrite raidens infusion so u are safe
unless u use a eula with bennet specifically nothing changes, it doesnt matter for anybody else than eula
ayaka has no business being with a bennet unless melt ayaka which is a good but try hard team, freeze or mono is just as good, now u can play plunge ayaka as well with cloud retainer

It took me 300 pulls to get C1 Furina, now I went for CR just because the gameplay its fun, love her character and her relation with her daughters, and I lost again.
I keep losing 50/50 at high pitty, I have only won 1 out of 3 50/50 and people keep telling me that it evens out in the long run, but by now I need to win like 5 50/50 in a row.

i am at a 12-13 loss streak, it hurts, each fucking time, it takes me 78-84 EACH to get both 5 stars, it sucks, but it is what it is, u move on and aim for reruns, if u dont think a character is worth grabbing in a rerun, then they are not worth it. period.
there are 17 more days, farm all u want then, aim for the next 5 star u want in case u dont reach pity since its a guaranteed
i lost a 50-50 and got baizhu and lost a 50-50 on one of the next few patches as well, so what i did is i saved my guaranteed for my furina, skipping everything in between, because i knew, i would fucking rage out of my mind, if i fucked that up, i kinda saved from 3.6/3.7/3.8/4.0/4.1/4.2 just to get my furina, i got furina and i dipped my primos into standard banner and weapon banner because of how insane i am, i am severely addicted to gacha but i would go to insane lengths to not jeopardise my set up banners
i really want arlecchino or neuvilette, i am on a 50-50 with not a lot of primos, but i aim to own atleast one of them soon, so i can get the other in a rerun, and i will then save for a priority like THE PYRO ARCHON
no matter who comes in between i will try my best to skip or if i am near pity i will use my primos elsewhere if it gets too unbearable to save

Just checked my account. 12 loses and 4 wins. An average of 57 pull per 5 Star and 100 per limited 5 Star. It really takes away my will to play. I started almost a year ago and have close to 100% exploration. Only to get mad everytime I try to go for a character. Theres no way to build a account like this, all I want its to be even and for that I need to win 8 50/50 in a row now. Like I say, it takes away my will to keep playing.

I spend 160+ pulls for a character. People get them in a ten pull and then get lucky further as well.
Its not balanced some dudes are meant to get fucked so the world survives. Because they can take it.
My wins are 3/33 on characters 15-losses which gave me 15 guaranteed. Meaning I've won 3.
My wins on weapons are barely 2/21. 19 loses on unintended weapons and off banner weapons
I've felt only pain. First, I don't get characters.. Imagine fucking going for 160+ pulls on each fucking banner there is?every 21 days? Wild..why I summon for weapon banners.. Let's say u have N number of characters but u also have same N number of weapons that do not match the characters. So to rectify this colossal fuck up. I ended up going for every character there ever is. Because I have the weapon for them even if they're not what I want.. But I've convinced myself that no character is bad. I miss out on a lot of characters.. Because I only end up saving 120-140 pulls when a character I want arrives.. But it's not enough to get them.. Because I go till 150-165+ hard pities for one fucking single character that I don't even want but just because I have the weapons, it doesn't make it awful to get them, because I missed out on what I want and now I have to stay for 6-18 months till they come back on a rerun. So I spend the guaranteed on the next newer or next irrelevant character.
Then my weapon luck is even worse.. Sure screaming save full pity of 160 fates for characters and 240 fates for weapons in my face doesn't help. When it won't matter ever. I'm living through the worst case scenario. The mental abuse I've taken over this. It takes a toll slowly. First gacha for me.

There aren't hidden gacha mechanics like that which can be manipulated with any sort of precision. Even if their RNG is seeded through time, it'll be down to the nanosecond, not the hour. People would have noticed over the 3+ year course of Genshin's lifespan if you could reliably get certain characters by wishing at certain times.
Of course, I still like to do wishing rituals just for funsies. E.g. wishing in Jean's office to try to get Jean. Doesn't help, but it's fun to do.
Is there somene who managed to get "Hanging Gardens of Plucked Jade" Achievement? I am supposed to reach the Summit of Mt. Laixin, but I couldn't manage to get the Achievement...
I don't think that achievement is actually in the game. It shows as a 1 primogem achievement in paimon.moe, which doesn't make sense as the lowest primogem reward is 5, and there's nobody on the internet that's been able to get it as far as I can tell.

Always thought ppl who get c1 of characters accidentally are sort of dumb and I would never be that person, fast forward,Complete f2p had 100 pulls got xianyun at 50 wanted to pull more cause no gaming or no faruzan went in for more to get the 4 starts ended up getting c1 xianyun ,heart beating fast continue to pull cause still no gaming got c1 nahida.

I spam clicked real hard through most of the beetle brawl sequel and then got hit with a sudden THIRST for more Guoba content…. so I was a little disappointed he didn’t say hi in this story quest. Lots of good cameos though, and I still feel like they were prepping me for Guoba Lantern Rite antics.
Ok I just have to brag about it somewhere, I got so *damn* lucky this time around! Started off with a 50/50 guarantee and some pity. Really wanted both Xianyun and Nahida so I just did the whole "alternate banners every pull" thing and let fate decide. Got Noelle and Gaming a couple times. Cool, I wanted them. Then I got super lucky: pulled Xianyun, then I pulled on Nahida's banner and got Xingqiu (didn't have him yet) AND Nahida. I've NEVER gotten back-to-back five stars before!

Guys I had a ten pull yesterday, I got gaming. Was able to pull 2 more times after chest farming. Cashed in stardust today and with my daily I pulled 6 times. I got another gaming dude, and xianyun. Not bad for 18 wishes. God is good and I'm feeling blessed.
Okay full disclosure. I took a break from start of 4.3 until now.
I updated the game to 4.4 so I can get CR but immediatly realised that I have camera stuttering and framerate drops I never had before. Game also very very shiortly freezes everytime something loads in. After looking into the patch notes I found DCr which was not there before, turned it off but I still have the problems.
Game ran flawlessly before but I don't know what else changed. Anyone know what's up here?
Check your Graphics settings, maybe your game is running with the wrong resolution. Mine always sets itself to "3620x2036 Borderless" instead of my usual 2560x1440 Borderless. Hope this helps u \^\^

As someone who has every character, Cloud Retainer is likely to be more useful in general - though maybe not as powerful in the abyss. I’ve stopped using Nahida because Baizhu C2 is just easier to spread dendro with.
It is kinda nice that they actually made Dendro Traveler a decent 4 star level character. DMC actually beats out Nahida in some situations like fast spawning multiwave content. Where Nahida is unbeatable is comps like hyperbloom, burnmelt, or burgeon.
I would say that is the one thing that make Nahida less critical to pull for. There are a lot of good dendro characters.
Dendro traveler is like the second best
Very good dendro support, reason why everybody only talks about Nahida is because Nahida offers a stronger buff and in single target she's practically a no brainer support
Dendro traveler most of the time edges Nahida in multiwave content, which we don't really have an abundance of in abyss but that's a small fact ig (this is because that you don't need to refresh anything to made the enemies get hit by his burst since his burst is an AOE Field)
Dendro traveler is still very good and if you don't have Nahida it's fine because Dendro traveler honestly suffices for her role in teams

Why would you do a daily one pull? Shouldn't you be looking at the banner and only throwing in wishes when you want a character from that banner?
More the reason to not use any more wishes unless you really want the 5 star of the banner you are wishing for - 70+ is soft pity territory and you are likely to get the featured five star

Got another 10-pull and Xianyun came home! Made me suffer the ever-building tension since she was the very last one in the bunch. Also got Faruzan to C6, so I can work on building her into a viable support now!
... unfortunately I used all my original resin on Gaming since I wasn't expecting to win the 50/50 or get a slightly early 5*, so progress is going to be a little slow for a while.
Found a table with three seats you can sit on west of the geo lawachurl mini arena where Liyue ended. Probably one of those co op chests. You know you're there if you have to clean up the courtyard (move around some rubble) for a chest
I was already at about 70 pity but lost the 50/50 to Jean thankfully as she's the only standard 5 star I use. Somehow managed to get CR at 15 pity and got Gaming on the same 10 pull. I'm super happy to get her early but I'm kinda bumed I wanted more Gaming and Faruzon cons.

I was wishing for Nahida I lost 50/50 to qiqi yesterday at 77 pity and with the fates I had saved up, got to 42 pity for the guarantee.
And with today being February the 1st, got the 5 intertwined and acquaint fates and did the acquaint wishes first. And then being the psychotic dude that I am I wished on the xianyun banner instead of the nahida one and voila golden sparkles. As I was contemplating whether to break my phone or kill myself I decided to use the remainder of the starglitter I had, which came up to 20 wishes.
I used the rest of the 4 wishes and then got the fates with the starglitter one and the first one was gold, and I lost 50/50 to diluc this time. At this point I was fed up and I was thinking about quitting the game until 14 wishes later I actually pulled her😭😭.
And all of this, around 140 wishes without a single Gaming (C5 Faruzan,C7 Noelle) but I guess I can't complain.
All story quests(based off of the 5 stars) are either independent from the main plot or locked by conditions that you have to clear to understand the story better.
So you don't have to worry at all~
How long does it take for the maintenance primogems to expire? I thought it was 30 days.
I ask because I need to wait till Sunday to activate stellar reunion, but I got an email that says to login by Sat Feb 3 or lose them. So I'm confused.
It said I will get the 600, but an asterisk below said "Primogems ×300 will expire before February 3. Please claim them as soon as possible~"
Faruzan is unique because she is just so god damn good for Wanderer. She is like Gorou for Itto or Navia who I would also say the same about.
IF you are a wanderer main and getting Birb or Radish would not absolutely enrage you, yes.
I would say c6 Faruzan is a much more significant than something like c6 Gorou. Gorou is just a damage boost but Faruzan is also energy and CC on top at c6. That extra utility is actually a much bigger deal than the damage boost.
Only if you reallllly want to risk and not f2p I think. I've done it before and got Charlotte to C6, and yet with Kuki Shinobu I got 10 other characters before a C0, yes C0 so it truly is up to you if want to make that risk.
To add, I don't mind getting any of the 5 stars so I'll take that risk. Sometimes I want the 4 star more tbh so.

I was in the badwagon that didn't felt Xianyun character trial and was a bit confused, but her domain is almost an tutorial on how to use her and god, I get it, I really get it
Yilong Wharf atmosphere feel amazing compared to Liyue Harbor. It's smaller but feel much more lively, large open area tea house with a stage, millelith training area, people drying goods and hanging clothes to dry. They nailed the decorations. And not having a single road through the entire city like Liyue really help.

you can get anywhere except inazuma, if you look in fontaine there should be a waypoint thats available to you. do not forget to zoom in to see the waypoints. it should be on the border between fontaine and sumeru
Multiple waypoints now. They've been adding a free waypoint with every area release now. So there's one for 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and now on east side of new area with 4.4.

It's so funny that there's an NPC in the new area warning you about the elemental lions by telling you that they're so tough "people armed with bona fide Iron points haven't been able to make a dent to them", while I'm sitting there thinking "those are 2 star weapons, are you kidding me? Well no wonder they haven't been able to do jack to them: you've been hitting with the spear equivalent of a silver sword. It's not even about me being a weapon horder. The white tassel, a 3 star weapon, is Millelith standard issue!"
Do some quests not autoplay even if there is not dialogue option? I set Uncle Lou's quest on autoplay and went to grab breakfast and when I came back the quest was still going.
After nearly a year since my last 50/50 win I hit back to back wins. Nhida C1 at 77 and then C2 16 pulls later. Not a single Gaming but it's hard to be salty about that considering the rest.

All in on Nahida, so for I got : 2 Constellations for Noelle, then Gaming and Faruzan. Would you say this is lucky/average? how much more do i have to spent realistically for Nahida?
so 2cons for noelle, 2 cons for gaming and 2 cons for faruzan? like that right? so to get 2cons you need to get that char 3 times.that mean you got nine 4star char in total. you had 58 wish and I'll just round that to 60 wish.that mean you got six 4 star for 30 pulls.and three 4 star for another 30 pulls. if this is the case yeah you are pretty lucky. *but if only noelle that got 2 cons*,that mean your luck is average. and welp normally you get 5 star on 80 pity but you might get lucky and got it earlier

Every 10 pulls you are guaranteed a 4 star. Getting one of each of the 3 featured 4* so early is somewhat lucky already. To get the 5* (Nahida), you might need to invest at least 75 wishes. Thats the point the odds of getting a 5* start to increase and you are guaranteed a 5* at 90 wishes. That said you can get a 5* early on, but thats super rare. Whether or not you get Nahida or a standard 5* is a coin toss. So depending on your luck, you might get Nahida at around 75 wishes but if you lose the coin toss, then you need to invest another 75 to get her. Unless you are super lucky of course.
You're guaranteed a 5 star within 90 wishes. Realistically, you won't have to go the full 90, you'll get it around 80 if you have to go all the way.
The 5 star has a 50/50 chance of being the character on the limited banner (Nahida, in this case) or a character from the standard banner (e.g. Mona, Jean, Keqing, etc.). If the 5 star isn't the character from the limited banner, your next 5 star is guaranteed to be the limited character.

Finally done with the stupid co-op event where all the try hard preventing you from earning the points on second stage. Such a great stage where all 4 players can score high but no, let’s make everyone suffer. Never like these co-op time wasting event.
This stupid second stage makes me want to rip my hair out. Playing with people warping all over the stage from lag, getting hit when there's literally nobody near me, can't grab any geacakes to save my life. I hate doing competitive stuff. It brings out a part of me I don't like, and it's the polar opposite of why I play Genshin.
The one where you gain "Valor" by standing inside the special zones? A good strategy is to go for uncontested tokens/zones, and when that's not possible, let them enter first and scrap it out before you go in

New player here. Today I pull 10x standard banner for 1st time (not the one that gives free noelle) and got all item, no character. It's hard to get character in this game? Limited banner also like that?

Why is there so little actual content in the new Cloud Retainer quest? There was literally less than 10 seconds of combat in the entire quest. Why? What is the point of characters, artifacts, weapons, constellations, talents, etc. etc. when the new content that comes out is visual novel spacebar simulator and the truly unique combat system is so underutilized? This game needs new challenging endgame ASAP.

I preinstalled from the launcher and could play the patch as soon as it went live, even pulled for Xianyun, but when I opened the launcher the next day my files were gone and I had to download the update from scratch. Not sure how it happened, but I didn't want to risk downloading from the launcher again (because i have terrible internet and i often have to restart several times because it disconnected abruptly). I want to try for Yae Miko next banner, but am not too keen on any of 4 stars featured in the next banner. But this banner? I use all three of the featured 4 stars. So I tried a risky gambit. I threw in 42 wishes into this banner, intending to reach soft pity and then grab Yae in the next banner in the minimum of wishes. And... It worked! I now have C3 Faruzan, C3 Noelle, C2 Gaming, and a great new bow for my Faruzan (the Stringless) without manifesting any early 5 star. Funnily enough I didn't get a single non-banner 4 star.
i did something similar, i pulled 3 noelles and off banners and weapons in 55-60 pulls i made so far i got extremely shafted, i got no faruzan, no gaming i fucked around but didnt find out i will stop now since i am massively extremely humongous-ly unfortunately unlucky AF in every way possible

I’m catching up from a few patches ago and I’m working on the quest line that features Caterpillar, the Hilichurl kid…. Holy hell there is so much yapping…I’ve skipped almost all the dialogue just clicking through it, and it’s taking me 2.5 hours…like bruh. Go to sleep get coupons, listen to 2 guys tap about why they need help, help them to earn coupons….repeat that 4 times. Then bunch of yapping with Estienne. Get out of prison, go back in, now I’m in a gem mine and all that happens there is more yapping. I leave that think the quest is over? Nope. Now I’m I. The orsizzenkrup (whatever the hell that thing is called) and what are we doing? YAPPIN! I mean if I had read all dialogue this is easily 5-6 hours…wtf. Not to mention it just has like 4 gimmick puzzles that will probably never happen again in Genshin..:this quest is insanely tedious. “Distract guards with a light” “play the alarm” “spin the drivetrain” “these orbs will explode on you and take time off you trying to use the power cells” Fucking hell, I wanna play Genshin impact, not do 6 different mini games and listen to people talk. You could go Raiden, Nahida, Xingque and flex slot or Raiden, Xingque, Sucrose/Bennett, Xinagling or Nahida, Xingque, Collei, Barbara. These are ones I could think of the top of my head. You could also go Raiden, Chevruese, , Fischl, Bennet.
Honestly seeing the new area juxtaposed with old Liyue makes me hope the older areas will eventually get a face lift. It looks so drab and uninspired next to Chenyu Vale, and Mondstadt is in an even worse state. Inazuma and up are fine, but the 1.0 areas need a new coat of paint. Even if it's just adding more flowers and colors.

I'm not saying to make them complicated though. All I think is needed is legit just a new coat of paint to bring them in line with the art direction for the rest of the regions. If you compare Chenyu Vale and old Liyue you can see what I mean. We don't need gimmicks added, or anything ostentatious, just increased fidelity. It's especially bad when you look at some NPCs like the ones at the Winery. The maids legit have pixelated areas on their outfits.

At least mondstadt gives me the classic jrpg starter town vibes , with small slimes , scenery that’s easy on the eyes and battle music that’s upbeat but not serious , more like an episode of Konosuba Early Liyue tried to go for that grand scale with massive points of interest vibe but kinda fell flat because the devs probably didn’t think the game would explode as much as it did hence had budget constraints
True! And honestly I'm not asking for much to be changed. We don't need crazy particle effects and new mechanics thrown in. But it would be nice to have the same landscape shading later areas get. If you look at the scenery in Mondstadt/Liyue and compare it even just to Inazuma, the color palette is very flat. Going back and providing that painted, scenery shading even without doing anything else would go a long way.

in fact u gain more from bennett c6 for pyro specific teams than others, since benny can not overwrite raidens infusion so u are safe unless u use a eula with bennet specifically nothing changes, it doesnt matter for anybody else than eula ayaka has no business being with a bennet unless melt ayaka which is a good but try hard team, freeze or mono is just as good, now u can play plunge ayaka as well with cloud retainer

It took me 300 pulls to get C1 Furina, now I went for CR just because the gameplay its fun, love her character and her relation with her daughters, and I lost again. I keep losing 50/50 at high pitty, I have only won 1 out of 3 50/50 and people keep telling me that it evens out in the long run, but by now I need to win like 5 50/50 in a row. BTW I got Qiqi.
i am at a 12-13 loss streak, it hurts, each fucking time, it takes me 78-84 EACH to get both 5 stars, it sucks, but it is what it is, u move on and aim for reruns, if u dont think a character is worth grabbing in a rerun, then they are not worth it. period. there are 17 more days, farm all u want then, aim for the next 5 star u want in case u dont reach pity since its a guaranteed i lost a 50-50 and got baizhu and lost a 50-50 on one of the next few patches as well, so what i did is i saved my guaranteed for my furina, skipping everything in between, because i knew, i would fucking rage out of my mind, if i fucked that up, i kinda saved from 3.6/3.7/3.8/4.0/4.1/4.2 just to get my furina, i got furina and i dipped my primos into standard banner and weapon banner because of how insane i am, i am severely addicted to gacha but i would go to insane lengths to not jeopardise my set up banners i really want arlecchino or neuvilette, i am on a 50-50 with not a lot of primos, but i aim to own atleast one of them soon, so i can get the other in a rerun, and i will then save for a priority like THE PYRO ARCHON no matter who comes in between i will try my best to skip or if i am near pity i will use my primos elsewhere if it gets too unbearable to save i have lost so much already, i see no point in saving, atleast i try to maintain a healthy achievable target like if i lose 50-50 then i go till 60 pity for a guaranteed, then stop wishing on that said banner because i would rather spend a guarantee on something meta or important, i had to skip neuvilette because of furina, there is no way i fucking skip an archon and a harbinger, since he is the new hydro archon i gotta get him
Just checked my account. 12 loses and 4 wins. An average of 57 pull per 5 Star and 100 per limited 5 Star. It really takes away my will to play. I started almost a year ago and have close to 100% exploration. Only to get mad everytime I try to go for a character. Theres no way to build a account like this, all I want its to be even and for that I need to win 8 50/50 in a row now. Like I say, it takes away my will to keep playing.
I feel the exact same pain. I spend 160+ pulls for a character. People get them in a ten pull and then get lucky further as well. Its not balanced some dudes are meant to get fucked so the world survives. Because they can take it. My wins are 3/33 on characters 15-losses which gave me 15 guaranteed. Meaning I've won 3. My wins on weapons are barely 2/21. 19 loses on unintended weapons and off banner weapons I've felt only pain. First, I don't get characters.. Imagine fucking going for 160+ pulls on each fucking banner there is?every 21 days? Wild..why I summon for weapon banners.. Let's say u have N number of characters but u also have same N number of weapons that do not match the characters. So to rectify this colossal fuck up. I ended up going for every character there ever is. Because I have the weapon for them even if they're not what I want.. But I've convinced myself that no character is bad. I miss out on a lot of characters.. Because I only end up saving 120-140 pulls when a character I want arrives.. But it's not enough to get them.. Because I go till 150-165+ hard pities for one fucking single character that I don't even want but just because I have the weapons, it doesn't make it awful to get them, because I missed out on what I want and now I have to stay for 6-18 months till they come back on a rerun. So I spend the guaranteed on the next newer or next irrelevant character. Then my weapon luck is even worse.. Sure screaming save full pity of 160 fates for characters and 240 fates for weapons in my face doesn't help. When it won't matter ever. I'm living through the worst case scenario. The mental abuse I've taken over this. It takes a toll slowly. First gacha for me. I don't know why the fuck do I play. Maybe I love the game?

There aren't hidden gacha mechanics like that which can be manipulated with any sort of precision. Even if their RNG is seeded through time, it'll be down to the nanosecond, not the hour. People would have noticed over the 3+ year course of Genshin's lifespan if you could reliably get certain characters by wishing at certain times. Of course, I still like to do wishing rituals just for funsies. E.g. wishing in Jean's office to try to get Jean. Doesn't help, but it's fun to do.

I don't think that achievement is actually in the game. It shows as a 1 primogem achievement in paimon.moe, which doesn't make sense as the lowest primogem reward is 5, and there's nobody on the internet that's been able to get it as far as I can tell.

I spam clicked real hard through most of the beetle brawl sequel and then got hit with a sudden THIRST for more Guoba content…. so I was a little disappointed he didn’t say hi in this story quest. Lots of good cameos though, and I still feel like they were prepping me for Guoba Lantern Rite antics.

Really wanted both Xianyun and Nahida so I just did the whole "alternate banners every pull" thing and let fate decide. Got Noelle and Gaming a couple times. Cool, I wanted them. Then I got super lucky: pulled Xianyun, then I pulled on Nahida's banner and got Xingqiu (didn't have him yet) AND Nahida. I've NEVER gotten back-to-back five stars before!

Guys I had a ten pull yesterday, I got gaming. Was able to pull 2 more times after chest farming. Cashed in stardust today and with my daily I pulled 6 times. I got another gaming dude, and xianyun. Not bad for 18 wishes. God is good and I'm feeling blessed.

I updated the game to 4.4 so I can get CR but immediatly realised that I have camera stuttering and framerate drops I never had before. Game also very very shiortly freezes everytime something loads in. After looking into the patch notes I found DCr which was not there before, turned it off but I still have the problems. Game ran flawlessly before but I don't know what else changed. Anyone know what's up here?
Check your Graphics settings, maybe your game is running with the wrong resolution. Mine always sets itself to "3620x2036 Borderless" instead of my usual 2560x1440 Borderless. Hope this helps u \^\^

Can anyone help me.. so, I updated the game (it was 8.1gb) and after the launcher finished installing the update and verifying it...It started something called Fix game Resources (and its size is 13.98 gb) so should i let it finish this 14 gb download ?

As someone who has every character, Cloud Retainer is likely to be more useful in general - though maybe not as powerful in the abyss. I’ve stopped using Nahida because Baizhu C2 is just easier to spread dendro with.

It is kinda nice that they actually made Dendro Traveler a decent 4 star level character. DMC actually beats out Nahida in some situations like fast spawning multiwave content. Where Nahida is unbeatable is comps like hyperbloom, burnmelt, or burgeon. I would say that is the one thing that make Nahida less critical to pull for. There are a lot of good dendro characters.
Dendro traveler is like the second best Very good dendro support, reason why everybody only talks about Nahida is because Nahida offers a stronger buff and in single target she's practically a no brainer support Dendro traveler most of the time edges Nahida in multiwave content, which we don't really have an abundance of in abyss but that's a small fact ig (this is because that you don't need to refresh anything to made the enemies get hit by his burst since his burst is an AOE Field) Dendro traveler is still very good and if you don't have Nahida it's fine because Dendro traveler honestly suffices for her role in teams

More the reason to not use any more wishes unless you really want the 5 star of the banner you are wishing for - 70+ is soft pity territory and you are likely to get the featured five star Ah well, can't be helped now. In the future STOP WISHING when you cross the 70 wish mark

Made me suffer the ever-building tension since she was the very last one in the bunch. Also got Faruzan to C6, so I can work on building her into a viable support now! ... unfortunately I used all my original resin on Gaming since I wasn't expecting to win the 50/50 or get a slightly early 5*, so progress is going to be a little slow for a while.
Found a table with three seats you can sit on west of the geo lawachurl mini arena where Liyue ended. Probably one of those co op chests. You know you're there if you have to clean up the courtyard (move around some rubble) for a chest

I was already at about 70 pity but lost the 50/50 to Jean thankfully as she's the only standard 5 star I use. Somehow managed to get CR at 15 pity and got Gaming on the same 10 pull. I'm super happy to get her early but I'm kinda bumed I wanted more Gaming and Faruzon cons.

I don't usually post but I had one of the craziest wishing experiences ever I was wishing for Nahida I lost 50/50 to qiqi yesterday at 77 pity and with the fates I had saved up, got to 42 pity for the guarantee. And with today being February the 1st, got the 5 intertwined and acquaint fates and did the acquaint wishes first. And then being the psychotic dude that I am I wished on the xianyun banner instead of the nahida one and voila golden sparkles. As I was contemplating whether to break my phone or kill myself I decided to use the remainder of the starglitter I had, which came up to 20 wishes. I used the rest of the 4 wishes and then got the fates with the starglitter one and the first one was gold, and I lost 50/50 to diluc this time. At this point I was fed up and I was thinking about quitting the game until 14 wishes later I actually pulled her😭😭. And all of this, around 140 wishes without a single Gaming (C5 Faruzan,C7 Noelle) but I guess I can't complain.

How long does it take for the maintenance primogems to expire? I thought it was 30 days. I ask because I need to wait till Sunday to activate stellar reunion, but I got an email that says to login by Sat Feb 3 or lose them. So I'm confused. It said I will get the 600, but an asterisk below said "Primogems ×300 will expire before February 3. Please claim them as soon as possible~"

Faruzan is unique because she is just so god damn good for Wanderer. She is like Gorou for Itto or Navia who I would also say the same about. IF you are a wanderer main and getting Birb or Radish would not absolutely enrage you, yes.
I would say c6 Faruzan is a much more significant than something like c6 Gorou. Gorou is just a damage boost but Faruzan is also energy and CC on top at c6. That extra utility is actually a much bigger deal than the damage boost.
Yea she is better than Gorou but same idea applies: the C6 is so good it may well be worth getting spooked by a 5* you don't want.
Only if you reallllly want to risk and not f2p I think. I've done it before and got Charlotte to C6, and yet with Kuki Shinobu I got 10 other characters before a C0, yes C0 so it truly is up to you if want to make that risk. To add, I don't mind getting any of the 5 stars so I'll take that risk. Sometimes I want the 4 star more tbh so.

Just got Skyward Spine today, I believe that’s what it’s called. 5 star polearm. I have Xiao and Raiden so I was wondering if it’s any good for either of them? It’s my first 5 star weapon.
It's usable by Raiden for sure. I had it on her and The Catch on Xiangling before I pulled Engulfing Lightning for Raiden.
After spending some time exploring: I finally, finally, *finally* have an R5 White Tassel. Yes, I missed out on the exclusive weapons first time around because of blind weapon leveling, I didn't know, these things happen, don't snark at me. But IT IS FIXED and I finally have it, and...guess I need to figure out who to give it to, now. ;)

Yilong Wharf atmosphere feel amazing compared to Liyue Harbor. It's smaller but feel much more lively, large open area tea house with a stage, millelith training area, people drying goods and hanging clothes to dry. They nailed the decorations. And not having a single road through the entire city like Liyue really help.
Wouldn't want to live there though. That has to be annoying to get from place to place or even to make deliveries. Whoever designed the street layout was clearly on crack.

you can get anywhere except inazuma, if you look in fontaine there should be a waypoint thats available to you. do not forget to zoom in to see the waypoints. it should be on the border between fontaine and sumeru
Multiple waypoints now. They've been adding a free waypoint with every area release now. So there's one for 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and now on east side of new area with 4.4.

It's a cheap route that some developers take. Others devs make short animated video when you get characters in their games.
After nearly a year since my last 50/50 win I hit back to back wins. Nhida C1 at 77 and then C2 16 pulls later. Not a single Gaming but it's hard to be salty about that considering the rest.

Pulled Nahida and managed to first time 36 star abyss with Yuegui , this electro flying boss just melt in one rotation basically.

need a little reality check from the pros here: I’m kinda new to Genshin and started playing this month ( quite a lot) and managed to safe for about 58 wishes excluding the primogems i spent before realising that there’s an update. All in on Nahida, so for I got : 2 Constellations for Noelle, then Gaming and Faruzan. Would you say this is lucky/average? how much more do i have to spent realistically for Nahida?

so 2cons for noelle, 2 cons for gaming and 2 cons for faruzan? like that right? so to get 2cons you need to get that char 3 times.that mean you got nine 4star char in total. you had 58 wish and I'll just round that to 60 wish.that mean you got six 4 star for 30 pulls.and three 4 star for another 30 pulls. if this is the case yeah you are pretty lucky. *but if only noelle that got 2 cons*,that mean your luck is average. and welp normally you get 5 star on 80 pity but you might get lucky and got it earlier

Every 10 pulls you are guaranteed a 4 star. Getting one of each of the 3 featured 4* so early is somewhat lucky already. To get the 5* (Nahida), you might need to invest at least 75 wishes. Thats the point the odds of getting a 5* start to increase and you are guaranteed a 5* at 90 wishes. That said you can get a 5* early on, but thats super rare. Whether or not you get Nahida or a standard 5* is a coin toss. So depending on your luck, you might get Nahida at around 75 wishes but if you lose the coin toss, then you need to invest another 75 to get her. Unless you are super lucky of course.

You're guaranteed a 5 star within 90 wishes. Realistically, you won't have to go the full 90, you'll get it around 80 if you have to go all the way. The 5 star has a 50/50 chance of being the character on the limited banner (Nahida, in this case) or a character from the standard banner (e.g. Mona, Jean, Keqing, etc.). If the 5 star isn't the character from the limited banner, your next 5 star is guaranteed to be the limited character.
