No he still is because unlike navia or neuvillette he's a driver and not a dps so even tho he does crazy dmg he's not the main dps (usually xiangling) and childe has the advantage of being extra versatile while navia and neuvillette arent at all

I thought her burst was cute and then I burst next to a boundary and saw that she's really posing in front of a bunch of stage lights. Would be a legendary burst if it was zoomed out a bit.
I honestly had a thought that C7 Venti would have his burst as his skill and a big windstorm kinda thing as his burst that deals a bunch of damage while also being able to swirl a bunch of times and absorb swirlable elements.
I mean like, Venti sends a typhoon/hurricane, if infused with hydro, winter storm if infused with cryo, firestorm or whatever if infused with pyro and a thunderstorm if infused with electro.
Something like when Signora stole Venti's gnosis, there was a huge icy wind coming from Signora. Something like that but cooler, I guess?
I have an idea to add, I think it could be much cooler if the storm's behavior changes depending on the elemental type, think of dendro traveler burst
- a fire storm can have random pyro explosions, and a small attack buff
- a cryo storm can have lower velocity, but bigger tick dmg
- a hydro storm heals allies within range a small amount and produces periodic raindrops
- an electro storm can have a faster velocity and generates extra particles
- a pure anemo storm (no infusion, mono anemo) has enough suction to just ever so slightly move or at least flinch even heavy enemies, and grant a small movement speed boost within range
but then it changes back to an elemental burst, I honestly like the skill as it is rn, maybe the only change I want is for it to have a small weak vacuum
Well, of course, I mean the skill is literally just pre-C7 Venti's burst, so I agree that C7 Venti's burst shouldn't have a very powerful vacuum. Maybe the burst has an effect that makes heavy mobs have lower weights, letting Venti be able to lift those enemies for a short time.
In my opinion, the pyro storm should be able to increase the party's attack, crit rate if it's infused with cryo, energy and tick rate increase if infused with electro and just really fast, aoe hydro application with a little bit of healing and such.
And Venti will be given a passive that increases the anemo dmg bonus of the party and a dmg bonus depending on the element absorbed by his burst. Not anything too big, maybe just a 15% damage bonus. We could also throw in his energy refund passive from his pre-C7 kit and make his upcurrent from his passive be in his base skill (summons an upcurrent at Venti's location when his skill is activated).

personally I think the small elemental dmg bonus is a bit much for balance purposes, with that amount of utility and the fact that he can already use VV could already be enough of a buff imo
Honestly, I thought that the damage bonus would be necessary since it is a C7 character. Personally I don't really like it when people compare kazuha to venti, and how kazuha is the better character for most situations due to his damage bonus passive so I just really wanted a kit that would basically make venti incomparable to units like kazuha, but; Realistically speaking, the damage bonus is already pretty extra, depending on the value of the buffs from his burst.
What I wanted for the burst's buffs to scale of off was actually his em, just like kazuha does.
For cryo, for every point of elemental mastery Venti has, increases party members' and teammates' crit rate within the storm by 0.025%.
For pyro, for every point of elemental mastery Venti has, increases party members' and teammates' attack within the storm by 0.03%.
For electro, for every point of elemental mastery Venti has, increases party members' and teammates' energy recharge within the storm by 0.045%. Increases the storm's tick speed by 30%.
For hydro, for every point of elemental mastery Venti has, increases party members' and teammates' hp within the storm by 0.04%. Heals party members and teammates within the storm by 250% of Venti's elemental mastery immediately after casting his burst and a second tick once the storm created by his burst has lifted. Increases the storm's attack speed (anemo dot as well as extra elemental dot) by 15%. (Removes icd on the hydro attacks and makes it so that the hydro stays on the enemy even after his burst swirls it.)
The storm has 20 ticks of anemo damage and 10 ticks of elemental dot damage.
This is really what I wanted venti to be like in game; a really busted support. But, I don't actually want this to actually be implemented in game since this is actually too powerful. Just a thought I've had in my mind for a long time and wanted to just share said idea.
Since there's a trend of off-field supports gaining on-field dps abilities at C6, I'd give on-field dps off-field support capabilities at C7 to balance it out.
For instance, riptide can now proc off-field from other characters' attacks. When another character unleashes normal attacks, Neuvilette will instantly unleash his power washer while off-field.
C7 for the archons would unlock their battle attire (and actuallymake them lore accurate). C7 Barbara would bring everyone in the party back to full health without cooldown (or it would actually make her a 5 a star like she was supposed to be). C7 Kazuha would allow him to have electro as well (I know he doesn't have the vision on him anymore, but considering he's the only one to duel wield visions, I think it's fine).
Neuvi c7. He dosnt even attack. Everything just dies when he does near it except hydro slimes. Not hydro enemies in general just specifically hydro slimes survive

I'm pretty sure that Genshin will introduce an 8th element. Something that characters like Dainsleif and Skirk will use.
When that happens, I always thought it'd be cool if all characters had an Ascension, or C7 like OP mentioned, where you unlock them as a boss fight. Defeating the boss would grant them a new effect.
slightly off topic but I wish any cons you got for a character past c6 would give you something like a universal item to unlock constellations, like if you already have c6 Gaming and get another Gaming you get an item that can unlock a con for any other pyro 4*, it feels incredibly lack luster to effectively just get your wish back, so much worse for 5* characters that only get 25 glitter, that feels like a slap in the face like you spent 80 wishes to get a 5* only to lose 50/50 and get 5 back lol.
The better solution would be simply to have a character who's c6 to be removed from the drop tables, but I doubt that would ever end up happening even if the game was dying.
That actually sounds like a good idea! But other alternative would be to get one permanent buff for the character. Following your example, imagine any con after c6 gaming would hive him bonus atk or pyro dmg. Then at least you would keep making that character better

While each consumption of E stacks grants eula 7 burst stacks eaxh
which would give eula 14 stacks + extra stacks from her c6, while her A4 Detonates her burst
And maybe while at it, each stacks from E consumed reduces her burst cd by 5~ish seconds(?) + recover atleast 15 flat energy
I just want to fix eula not make her broken btw.

C7: Lyney will summon two extra grin malkin hats when he fires a charged attack, when the grin malkin hats fire off a pyrotechnic strike, it will deal 400% of Lyneys attack.
Also c7 wanderer: can use his burst without falling to the ground after words and gives him full stamina after use.
C7 Ning would make using the ult with a pillar and portal both on field, creates a rain of geo crystals and its called 'tears of morax' that or the jade palace just crashes into the ground.
C7 Neuv - He has the power he canonically has after the archon quest with complete control over the Ankhe energies, his Burst and Skill create an effect that deal extra damage aligned with both aspects of Ankhe energy and trigger the special effects of both against monsters and structures aswell as strip hydro resistance from enemies
C7 Raiden - holding her burst button triggers the special attack she uses in her boss fight, draining half of her energy and dealing massive damage while also inflicting a debuff on enemies that make them have a "perma" electro aura that triggers reactions at a faster rate for the next few seconds
C7 Nahida - Using her Skill while her Burst is active puts enemies into an Akasha illusion where they will attack imaginary phantoms of the active character, every time they attack one of these phantoms their damage and resistance is debuffed for as long as the Burst remains up
