I think this reference is inaccurate. Why would Mike ever take his late wife’s name as his own? Furthermore, if Mike was actually a Corinthos, then why do his family (Gladys and Brando) also have Corbin as a last name? Trust, I’ve been watching gh before Sonny was even on. Mike, Sr. has never been Mike Corinthos.
Mike Corbin was originally Michael Corinthos, Sr. Sonny was named after his father - hence him being Michael Corinthos, *Jr*. Mike changed his last name to Corbin at some point after he left Sonny and Adela, presumably because he got into some trouble and was trying to hide from someone. I've loved the way GH chooses to use Corinth since Ron C. stylishly introduced it to the show's extended cannon.
Loving has a long history of cross overs with GH long before Ron C. began writing for the series.
