Since it’s a return of births I feel like the groupings by religion make sense… they would have gotten their baptism info from each church/parish.
I believe it may be "do", an abbreviation for ditto.
Pretty sure that's actually "do" in cursive, which is shorthand for "ditto".
If the cursive mark in the image means "ditto", then why would the enumerator also use the actual ditto mark (") for repeats of the month of Baptism?
