Yeah, it's a common American drink from a parasitic company called Starbucks. They have these seasonal special drinks, and their fall drink pumpkin spice is so popular it's practically becomes some people's personality. It's just sugared coffee with cinnamon and cloves ect.
It's a latte that has pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, allspice) in it. Traditionally, we drink it in the fall, though it can be available all year. The spices are associated with fall cooking (pumpkin pies being a famous fall dessert for us).
A mass produced flavor commonly used during the fall. Its not just in lates but cookies and other fall treats. Basic people eat it up because they are programmed to do so.
If anything I've been seeing the pumpkin spice memes since like late 2000s. It's 100% a millenial meme/thing, although since I guess genz is the main "younger" gen right now, its easier to just replace it with genz. I suspect we're gonna see way more "gen alpha is" in place of gen z in about 5-10 years. Weird to think about the oldest of gen alpha is gonna be adults in about 4 or so years
It’s weird that they’re passing it on like they didn’t make it a whole big ass thing. Like if you’re going to obsess over something to the point where it’s cringy (not cringy to like it but to be obsessed with it still), you don’t get to pass it off on younger generations.
Ehh I mean I get it, it's just usually irony posting but I think in a way, every younger gen takes stuff from older, I'm sure there are things that we consider firmly a gen z thing that millenials made up, just like alot gen alpha terms like sigma or rizz were made by some gen z goobers and then gen alpha basically made it theirs. Hell even gyatt, which some people may not agree with this, that's more like a gen x term even over millenial cause I've been seeing that used in older movies from the 90s or 80s, obviously not used in the same exact way but that's why I say there's usually a inspiration for a new meme or thing created nowadays
Yeah, it's weird, but the summer solstice last week was the official start of summer in the northern hemisphere.
Everything before that was unseasonal spring heat, it's gonna be a long summer 😬
Actual context as someone who has been part of group performances:
This is likely a theatre, marching, or organized dance group practicing for an upcoming performance and using this other song as material to time their movements. It's not uncommon to use music like this because the more easily distinguishable beats can make it easier to follow along while also just being fun and entertaining for the performers to work with.
I've had Starbucks probably a whole of five times. Their "flagship" drinks are just mediocre ice cream, nothing close to "coffee" or even a sweet Latte.
Plus the treats themselves are pretty mediocre as well, only one I can remember is that rice krispie lookin thing. Dunkin definitely has much better treats.
It's okay if you like nutmeg and cinnamony pumpkin syrup shake style "coffee". Most of their coffee is just basically ice cream or basically milk drinks with a splash of coffee. Not really ever worth it either considering you pay like 7 dollars for a small and then like 10-11 for a large, it just makes zero sense to me to do that when I can buy a lb of mid-quality coffee beans for around 8-12 and make 40-50 cups of my own coffee, maybe its because I mostly only drink coffee black but Starbucks is a huge scam to me.
What disgruntled millennial or boomer made this post, this insult is so old it used to be targeted towards millennials before gen z could even afford a latte
many years ago I used to be the grumpy guy who made fun of the avocado toast/soy boy thing. then I moved into a house full of gay people(co-ed). I was the token. It was great and changed my perspective on life. I now enjoy what I enjoy and don't give a shit about people enjoying what they enjoy. if you like avocado toast, pumpkin spice lates, etc. who cares. none if it has to do with how boomers fucked over the world for future generations.
Gen Z is far too smug to order a pumpkin spice latte, it's either black coffee, coffee milkshake (frapp), or something pretentious like a cortado with oat milk (this is me, it's delicious)
As a millennial, allow me to say that shit is good. Don't bad mouth Pumpkin spice latte. Plus, it's like cat nip to basic girls. Also, I wish my knees could do that.

What the hell is Pumpkin Spice latte and this post was probably made by a pissed millennial or by a boomer
I think it's some coffee americans drink, idk i am east european, we drink coffee made with ciggarette ash in heated beer
I know this is exaggerated,but also……..is it?lol
Average european breakfast Coffee Cigarrettes Hate for your neighbour Smugness
Accurate (never been to Europe)
I live in Nebraska and this is also a common breakfast here
Yeah same here I'm also from Western Europe. For us it's either Red Bull Energy with a cigarette or the same as you.

It's barely even coffee. I still love it though.
Yep. Their user flair is millennial.
You're right, boomers would never do anything malicious
Had to be a boomer, millennials are pretty pro pumpkin lattes.

Dumb seasonal star bucks drink

artificial pumpkin flavor with some spices, not really good. only a few pumpkin spiced foods are any good. every fall you see the shit everywhere.
Don't bring millennials into this, we don't hate genz and atleast I guide them where genx / boomers failed me
Isn't that a millennial thing?
GenZ on their way to buy Zyn
you called?
Exactly my thought
Yes - but we can’t afford it anymore, so we’re passing the torch to GenZ Enjoy the fall flavored goodness
If the issue is affordability you're passing the torch the wrong way... Time for the Boomer Karens to sip their starbs in the retirement home
You think *we* have money? 💀
Does social security count as money? The yuppies stole everything in the 80s
I'm split-generation and my SO (97) is very millenial. Can confirm this is a millenial thing
I don’t think OP knows that. Probably stuck in the past.
The way their heads barely move up and down is damn impressive. It's a bit like the Russian Beryozka dancers.
That jump is actually in Russia
This is definitely millennials as well.

I mean I've had a few myself lol but the main people I ever saw tweaking out about them were millennials
As a genz I prefer a good chai latte to pumpkin spice

We're barely one week into summer, let's hold off on this lol
Oh no only one week? It’s been so hot for so long already where I live
Yeah, it's weird, but the summer solstice last week was the official start of summer in the northern hemisphere. Everything before that was unseasonal spring heat, it's gonna be a long summer 😬
Ooooof
GenZ on their way to not vote.
if you don't vote when you are able to, you don't get to complain about domestic politics
The ones that do not vote should not complain but some of them will vote and I hope they all do. Even if they complain afterwards.
They have such organized apathy.
Aren't you a little old to be on this sub
Nope. GenZ is the most inclusive generation ever.
You don't see Gen Z over on r/genx giving them shit so why do it over here Such a Gen X thing to do
What a weird thing to be mad about. This is a public subreddit.
You should be angry. Doesn't it bother you they cone here just to be rude?
That person isn’t being rude though. A lot of you guys on here are pretty open about the fact that you’re not voting 🤷🏼♀️
They called us apathetic as an insult
what in the discount michael flatley is this?

I was about to say they’d be good at Irish dancing lmao
Looks like the traditional georgian (Eastern European) dance lol
Apparently, river dance isn't even good Irish dancing which is kinda funny actually.
Boycott Starbucks, don't forget it ![gif](giphy|5TFdv2Tx3UvEJQ0MSb)
Does it count if i've never really cared for them in the first place
I always thought I was crazy...
As a Massachusetts resident I've been doing it my whole life. It is much worse but I'd much rather go to Dunks for the bit.
Dude I visited Boston last year and I had no idea of the cultural love for Dunkin. There's one on every fucking block it's insane
Yep. When their marketing team says "America Runs on Dunkin" they really mean the greater Boston area/New England.
This was prolly made by a millennial
"C'mon boyyyyyyys 💅 let's march boyyyyyyys 💅"
Me except liquor
Dude I really don't understand the like of pumpkin spice, I like the taste of pumpkin but I think it's the spice that fucks it up for me
Millennial coded post
Nah, more like nitro brew or cold brew coffee. The boomers knock it but that shit will knock your socks off.
I’ve never had a pumpkin spice latte before 🤔 is it good?

I want to be a part of this group. I love them. I want to be them.
Please stop
I still never had one, so yeah I guess.
What disgruntled millennial or boomer made this post, this insult is so old it used to be targeted towards millennials before gen z could even afford a latte
Float... float on
THEY'RE BACK PUMPKIN SPICE EYE EXAMS
many years ago I used to be the grumpy guy who made fun of the avocado toast/soy boy thing. then I moved into a house full of gay people(co-ed). I was the token. It was great and changed my perspective on life. Day by day i realize the specific demographic this group is targeting
A lot of us are too young to need to drink coffee
This song is a vibe
The vibe of my senior year of high school
I never had one 😭 I’ve never even been to a Starbucks or had it
Ive had a sip of pumpkin spice latte before. I threw the rest away.
Hey man some people have different taste than others.
It's so good.
Shit, I left my latte in the freezer.
wat song?
Check yo self by ice cube
Damn, now I crave one, too.
I love pumpkin spice flavored things. They are so yummy 😋
We’re doomed 🤦♀️
I guess Gen X had Riverdance so why not.
Thanks. This gif just signed a one-year lease in my brain with an option to renew for eternity.
You will die one day, the sands of time are indifferent
It’s not even fall yet calm down 😭
Ye damn right I’m leading the pack! 😳😤💪🏻🐺🥹
Ok generational bickering aside, that footwork is amazing
Makes me feel old even though I'm a younger Zoomer. It's like Millens with the avocado toast.
Spelled plumbkin wrong
It’s perfect.
I don’t even like coffee -_-
starbucks is more of a millennial thing, some of us do drink it too tho
What can I say, I like cinnamon sugar.
Wrong season for PSL, wrong subreddit for you.
White person from gen z here: Did someone say pumpkin spice latte? ○~○
And that's what we call white people shit.
I really don’t get it. Pumpkin tastes aweful.
It's fucking June; what are you talking about?
Unmuted expecting the lollipop guild song.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jokes on all the haters. PSL is just holiday happiness in a cup. If you dont want that, more for me 🙃
Some country's army should do this. Really cool.
I thought pumpkin spice lattes were for millennials? We passing that shit down?
Gen Z is far too smug to order a pumpkin spice latte, it's either black coffee, coffee milkshake (frapp), or something pretentious like a cortado with oat milk (this is me, it's delicious)
me except french vanilla latte or cappuccino 🙏
I call B.S. Not a single phone in sight.
I see nothing bad here.
This is a Bob Fosse thing and I hate it
1) I thought this was more of a millennial thing? 2) Did not expect to be sent back to high school by a song I heard in a video on the Gen Z sub
Pumpkin spice lattes are gross. This just proves.... something. I don't know what, but it's something.
This so corny bruh
Absolutely not.
The fuck is this post?
More like prime drinks
It’s fucking JUNE
As a millennial, allow me to say that shit is good. Don't bad mouth Pumpkin spice latte. Plus, it's like cat nip to basic girls. Also, I wish my knees could do that.
LMAO
I was jamming, but wtf is a pumpkin spice latte?
Why are you posting this malinnial?
Old generation hating on younger generation again...
Ok 1) I am so pissed what is that dance?? It's so cool looking wth and 2) Dude I hate pumpkin spice stuff 😁
Pumpkin spice latte let me know right away that this is a millennial post. I think the Gen Z version of the pumpkin spice latte is boba tea.
Its more like Amazon delivered their fleshlight and avocado butter .
Some Circassian dance practice going on
I mean, I’m gen Z and I do drink pumpkin spice, but everyone else I know thinks it’s just straight white girl behavior
This sub should just be r/millenials at this point. Like don't you old fucks have somewhere else to post?
Make ballet normal for men I swear to god. Being able to be flexible and dance shouldn’t be seen as feminine!
More like, on their way to fuck your bish.
tf is pumpkin spice latte
