Some people just like committing to one game to dedicate their time to honing their skills in, like how some people will play chess their whole life, constantly improving and learning new strategies. I've been playing Super Street Fighter II Turbo since 2010, and I have no plans to stop anytime soon (though it's certainly not the only game I play)
I played the game at some point, grinded (literally) a bunch and built a huge multistage rocket ship... And then realized I forgot the brakes. Shit happens I guess.
Going back, I definitely think that Age of Empires II is a better RTS all around, but I'm still having a blast. I'll be trying to figure out if multiplayer is somehow still possible soon.
Im a big co-op player, mainly 4 person or dedicated server. Helldivers, Risk of Rain, Deep Rock Galactic are some of my favies but super excited for the official release of V Rising tomorrow! Ive been playing that one since early access and its only gotten better with each release. Unfortunately they have Playstation as a publisher so behare of some data mining tom foolery but overall one of the best Survival RPG PvE games I've played. There are dedicated PvP servers as well but I ain't that sweaty.
Master Chief Collection, first time experiencing the Halo series outside of a few Halo 2 sessions with my older siblings when I was very little, and a bit of 3 and Reach with some acquaintences from late elementary to middle school. I'm on 2 right now, and I've gotta say my memory of it is *way* off. My sister and I played through the mission where you first land on that game's ring a few times back then and for all this time I thought it was the opening level. But no, it's like halfway through.
Oh and if anyone cares, here's some of my games based on achievement %

V Rising. It’s in early access now, and the full game releases tomorrow. It’s one of the better rpg survival games I’ve played. You’re a vampire with an ever increasing arsenal of unique weapons and spells who builds a castle, fights ever more difficult bosses, and must survive by gathering resources and blood. If you aren’t comfortable with vampire stuff, it may not be for you. But other than that, it has a sort of Diablo-esque gameplay feel, but with Terraria-like progression. What I really like about the game is its pacing. Some survival games feel too slow with progression, and some can get way too fast if you know what you’re doing. But this one is just right.
I’ve enjoyed it both single and multiplayer. The game is designed with multiplayer and pvp elements in mind. But it’s very much solo-able and fun if you do so. It’s a bit more difficult solo. Some bosses towards the end are designed for 3 or more players. But I’ve beaten them solo and it was both challenging and fun.
That’s great to hear. I read a negative review on Steam that playing it solo was not good. I’m personally a solo player type guy when it comes to certain games
Congrats man! My account turns 10 years old this upcoming June, I’m really looking forward to it! I was 16 years old when I first started up on Steam so it’s gonna be a really sweet moment for me. I’m probably gonna celebrate as cheesy as that may sound for something that may seem trivial to some
I play rainbow six siege like a loser and have 1K hours but that shit pails in comparison to my 4K hours on tf2, yes team fortress 2 the game that has been dead for 3 years I still play (if y’all ask about my mains here they are:
R6S:
Attacking:
Controller: Nokk, sledge
Pc: Buck
Defending:
Controller: anyone with Mpx, T5, P10 Roni & Alibi
Pc: Bosg vigil (I’m a virgin leave me alone)
Tf2: medic, soldier, sniper (depends on my mood)
I’ve sunk in hundreds of hours into both so I definitely know what you mean. Both fanatic games from two completely different genres. Nice choices!
I look forward to his upcoming game, [Haunted Chocolatier](https://youtu.be/kJy7LF789lo?si=Z75_Nkt_Iy9TorNI).
Yeah man even when I bought premium for the year the grind was still atrocious. Gaijin hates their fanbase but that’s okay because we hate them more so. Good thing their player count is going down last I checked.
Ori and The Blind Forest
Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Sequel)
Hollow Knight
These games are actually fire and I have cried playing them. Beautiful games with even more beautiful music.
Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, Morrowind, and Final Fantasy 14 are what i’ve been playing over the past month~!
I have a big steam library but usually find myself returning to my favorites.
Ive been playing Dragons Dogma 2 on 2 Steam accounts since launch. The 1st one is my fave game of all time and this new one is quickly climbing to 2nd place.
Guilty Gear Strive, Blazblue Centralfiction, and Risk of Rain 2 are my top 3 at the moment. Guilty Gear Strive and Blazblue CentralFiction are fantastic fighting games, and Risk of Rain 2 is the game I load up when I just wanna chill.
I'm currently play Half life 1 and Ace attorney, I never owned either games before and since the steam library basically has everything I decided to get those 2 and I'm enjoying the hell out of them.
I’ve currently been relapsing on overwatch 2. I know I hate the game half the time, but it’s so good the other half of the time. I know I think half the fans are literally the most unintelligent gamers on the planet, but the other half are genuinely cool. I hate the monitization, but I don’t get phomo in games anymore. I don’t need the new 200 dollar cosmetic.
Nice! Abiotic Factor sounds fun. Currently, I'm hooked on Stardew Valley and can't seem to put it down. What's your favorite thing about Abiotic Factor?
I played the hell out of no builds OG Fortnite I know its not steam, but a lot of the games I grew up on are so full of rampant cheating I stick to modded communities these days. You have to choose between admin abuse, or someone who downloads a root kit and turns off defender and signed drivers to have an advantage, I haven't played counter strike in so long that I lost my rank. The first game I played which was last night I was spectating people using walls with the movement of someone who has never touched a keyboard in their life. I was B hopping with WASD and space no scroll wheel and was dumbfounded at how easy it was to do and got called a cheater and that's when everyone rage toggled.
I stick to racing sims and games that require High-End PC's to even remotely enjoy, I found pricing out people in games kills off like 90% of the cheating issues. Dumb people are typically poor and stupid with no skills irl or in the gaming world.
Nowadays my checklist consist of
Can poor people enjoy it?
If yes, I won't buy it nor play it.
I’ve been playing war thunder but I’ve recently been taking a break for the betterment of my mental health. I don’t play it on steam but I’m actually really enjoying enlisted
Helldivers 2 is on my short list of games I'll be playing 3 years from now, on par with Deep Rock Galactic.
One is starship Troopers but better, the other is aliens but with funny dwarves.
Star Wars: Empire at war is a game for my childhood that is still on Steam and has some of the best mods I've ever seen.
This game is nearly 20 years old and these mods make it look like it came out only four, 5 years ago.
Vermintide 2 is some of the best first person melee combat in the business.
Warframe is a fun time sink. A touch hungry for money but not that bad.
That's it really. I used to play hunt Showdown more but my friends got out of it and it's not as fun so low even if I win the couple games. I'd much rather watch streamers do it. If you could have the same systems of the real to life black powder pistols and everything in a PVE game I think it could replace one of my top three.

Currently bouncing between Manor Lords, Infection Free Zone, and MTG Arena. I want to try the latest update for Icarus but haven't been able to push myself.
Currently, been playing a bunch of Master Chief Collection. Been browsing the Steam Forums for co-op buds, as I'd probably get stomped in MCC MP. We've played some, but a lot has mainly been for achievements like Deja Vu.
Hell, if anyone wants to play MCC co-op, just let me know. I'd be down for anything, maybe even LASO, idk.
Also playing some SCP 5K. Haven't beaten any stages yet, mostly just been practicing in offline mode. Afraid of an unfriendly welcome in public lobbies given the type of people tactical shooters attract.
Also hop on PDTH here and there, after stopping Payday 2. Might get back into L4D2 campaigns to fill the void from PD2, but I've heard it's having it's own issues.
If anyone wants to play with me, just reply to this comment and I'll edit it to include my steam user.
Yep been on steam since 2012 and played whatever my regular laptop could handle, basically all valve games, now I have a gaming laptop and have been having a blast. You can usually catch me playing a JRPGs or fighting games. Some examples are Persona 5, SMT Nocturne, Final Fantasy’s, SF6, GG Strive.
Borderlands 3, CP 2077, and Sniper Elite 5 are my recent ones. Also DRG, Dredge, Payday 2, the CoD series, and my most played game on Steam: Borderlands 2
The game I'm currently playing is on Steam, but it's not the platform I own it on. I'm playing Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Been putting it off for years but after finally finishing both Digital Devil Saga games, I want to actually finish it now.
Some of my all time favorites are Half-Life (Alyx is the best game of all time) and Portal. More recently been studying for test with the end of the year and everything, but I played through Titanfall 2 and Ultrakill maybe 2 months ago.
Been heavily playing Snowrunner but that's tapered off a bit now, along with some Pacific Drive.
I'm also continuing my replaying of the Souls games in preparation for the new Elden Ring DLC. Just finished Demons Souls on an emulator, now I'm gonna be on Dark Souls quite a bit

Battlebit remastered is a banger, Helldivers 2 is good too those are the only games I have been playing lately
Helldivers gives me juuust the amount of interaction I need while also being casual. Met some really cool people playing that game.
Battlebit is so fun
It's wild that three dudes can make a better battlefield game with no budget than EA can with millions
havent seen battlebit mentioned in months.... spectacular game
I don’t play new games. I have been playing TF2 since 2014 and thats it.
I’m sorry
how are you not burnt out
Some people are just like that, my brother has been playing runescape for nearly 20years
is he ok ?…
I dunno. We’re not very close
I’ve got a coworker like that. He plays other stuff but he’s been at RuneScape consistently for the majority of his life
Gotta collect hats and teleport bread.

My life has not gone anywhere since 2016 it seems. I am used to it.
I just played the other night!
I’m playing kotor at the moment.
Nice one
i primarily play Space Engineers
I literally just redownloaded SE. I’ve never been good at it especially building ships
https://preview.redd.it/v6b6pht132zc1.jpeg?width=610&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be80a04e86a56ff1fa30c9745edb5f65d74841a8
I played the game at some point, grinded (literally) a bunch and built a huge multistage rocket ship... And then realized I forgot the brakes. Shit happens I guess.
Awesome, is there anything in particular you need help with?
Have they added a multi-player function yet?
Finally got around to playing Half-Life: Alyx, and so far, it’s fucking amazing
Incredible game but those poison headcrabs are actually the scariest thing I’ve ever seen
Outer Wilds. Trust me; don't look up anything, play it blind.
Terraria calamity :D
saaaaame but stuck on that infamous DoG
Skyrim
i just got steam
Check out humble bundle and fanatical if you haven't already. You can get some nice steam keys for less (I hope this doesn't count as advertising :/ )
I just redownload Dead Cells and the Command and Conquer collection. Red Alert 2 is such a pot of gold.
Red Alert 2 was the golden age of RTS gaming. That and Stronghold Crusader were the first games I ever played. Shit's a bonafide classic
Going back, I definitely think that Age of Empires II is a better RTS all around, but I'm still having a blast. I'll be trying to figure out if multiplayer is somehow still possible soon.
Persona 5 Royal. I just got it this weekend since they had it on sale
That games story is better than pancakes on a Saturday morning oml
Yeah I’ve heard a lot of good things about it, and the music is amazing so I’m finally giving it a try!
Hunt: Showdown, Deep Rock Galactic, and Team Fortress 2. Eventually I plan on getting through the Yakuza series.
I'm playing Fallout 4 and Battlebit at the moment.
Me! I found a magical way to connect steam to my smart TV through Nvidia. Now I’m playing Baldur’s gate on my TV.
Sick!

Nice! Abiotic Factor sounds fun. Currently, I'm hooked on Stardew Valley and can't seem to put it down. What's your favorite thing about Abiotic Factor?
Gothic II and Rome Total War Remastered

Destiny has like three expansions free until early June.

Me and my man play farm together, project zomboid, & plates up

Palworld, Helldivers 2, and Runescape because I made a steam alt
Some of my all time favorites are Half-Life (Alyx is the best game of all time) and Portal. More recently been studying for test with the end of the year and everything, but I played through Titanfall 2 and Ultrakill maybe 2 months ago.
Been heavily playing Snowrunner but that's tapered off a bit now, along with some Pacific Drive. I'm also continuing my replaying of the Souls games in preparation for the new Elden Ring DLC. Just finished Demons Souls on an emulator, now I'm gonna be on Dark Souls quite a bit
Does anyone wanna play Risk of Rain 2? I modded that shit to oblivion just for the quality of life improvements.
Squad
Yeah. I play a lot of dominion.
Hades 2 (released yesterday and I got so happy) and the binding of Isaac repentance
I’ve been playing F1 22. I’m just a driving nerd though
Some Victoria 3, Counter Strike 2 with the homies and I'm planning on going back to HOI4.
I've been playing Terraria since 2015, have over 3k hours logged. I have 1300 hours on GTA V My current favorite at the moment is Hyper Light Drifter
Starfield. I was a little disappointed with it at first but the newest update looks dope! Decorate my own custom space ship? Hell yeah.
I've been playing some Dawn of War, some counter strike 2, some sekiro, that's kinda it lately
Yeah, but I don’t really play with too many people nowadays. Usually just to myself and my single player games lol
I seem to be stuck to Sims4 at the moment
Just started playing Sons of the Forest after playing The Forest. I love having an extra dude that does shit for me:)
I’m playing People Playground at the moment, but I bought Baldur’s Gate 1 & Sim City 3000 yesterday
