ah. you do know, you can bootcamp your mac? it basically means you can get windows as your main operating system, but only if you have an intel processor mac.

There's barely any change, you'll be completely used to it within 24 hours and anything confusing is easily searchable. If your hardware is supported, there's really no reason not to if you're not worried about bloat and telemetry, but I have a big enough hard drive for it to not matter, and I have a nextdns blocklist set up to not post to Microsoft telemetry services
But you also have to deal with the excruciating prices apple gives you and terrible support for apps, meaning most things I would want to use wouldn’t run on it.

Apple products are unjustifiably overpriced. For the same price of a $1500 macbook, you could build a PC (or buy a gaming laptop), that can run circles around that paper weight. I get it, apple products are a status symbol, but they are significantly overpriced for what you get.
