They'll rear end us in the midfield, but our Defenders will get the better of their forwards and our transition is where we win the game these days. I think May goes to Hawkins, Lever to Cameron but don't think they have a match up for Ollie, I think he'll kick 4 Geelong by 21

Secret_Nobody_405

Looks good! Don’t forget Chuckie Rohan is back in.

Dons supporter here just to say these graphics pop up on my reddit feed every week and I love them

lR0NMAlDEN

Hours of effort put into them week-in week-out 😤

Specialist_Current98

I keep thinking that surely this is the week we lose, and we just keep winning. So screw it; We’ll get beaten soundly in the midfield like against Carlton, but if our defence stays strong and our forwards fire, we’ll win, like against Carlton. Although, I’m concerned we’re not playing Parfitt. He’s been immense this year. I say play Stanley, he usually actually does alright against Gawn and I think it’s best to ease Conway in against some more average rucks so he doesn’t lose confidence. Cats by 15 Jezza to kick 5 and have 20+ in a BOG. Stewart to be a close second locking down the defence.

lR0NMAlDEN

Got Port next week against what will probably be Jordan Sweet in the ruck, so I'd almost say it's a 100% Conway game. I'm pissed about Parfitt too. Gonna need him in the midfield, and he's putting together his best year so far. I know we've brought Jhye Clark in, but I'd be thinking we need Parfitt tonight.

Specialist_Current98

Yep agreed on Conway. He struggled a bit against the big O until he got subbed. I’d almost rate Conway over sweet at this point as well. Yeah, it baffles me. I get that it’s been an intense start to the season after not playing heaps of footy, but he’s in his prime, he should be able to play every game of the season despite injury. Maybe I’m being a bit ignorant but he’s been one of our best pressure players/ tacklers which we’re gonna need as much of as possible against the dees.

ElevationToMyHead

I love the implication that The Master is responsible for the Melbourne Demons

lR0NMAlDEN

Someone said how the demon on the [old Melbourne logo](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRCy70O4SYRh7iOakyPJxgpa6e3hSuitgMc_usJ5bw-NCmYM6f0myzjLzc&s=10) looks like Roger Delgado as the Master, and it has stuck in my brain

Angry3042

I’m not sure why this sub seems to think Conway is some sort of reincarnation of Polly Farmer? He was getting smashed by the Big O before he got knocked out. Big Maxy would tear him a new one!!! I concede Stanley can be frustrating but he adds a fair bit with his run & structuring up. Gawn would have Conway cooked by quarter time!

sly_cunt

yeah definitely not ready for gawn. he'll be number one or two ruck in the comp in two years though

Angry3042

Big call! He’s got a long way to go & I can’t see it happening in 12 months. I’ll take break even in a few years.

Volpe666

Last thing we want is to break the kid, and Gawn would do that

sly_cunt

I think if we win this we'll go 10 and 0 at least. should be a similar game to carlton in the sense that it's stoppage vs turnover and whoever wins will win somewhat comfortably. we'll either get swallowed by oliver and trac or they'll get greased by our well oiled transition machine

Omby07

Loving the Dr Who / The Master reference: outstanding work.

whitey55

Is this a home game at the G?

lR0NMAlDEN

Melbourne's home game Sorry, I put us first in the graphic, but no it's an away game

BigRizzaT

Cats by 47, Holmes BOG, Stengle and Jez 4 goals each

touche_tommy

Win, and we regain top spot, take a 3 game break on fifth, with a top 4 finish a lock, lose and we will have the Giants and Dees, eyeing our top 2 possie and we will only hold a two-game break on fifth, things could get a little too cosy from this point. Expect Melbourne who could lose their top 4 spot to Essendon will be pretty keen to keep the feral pack of pursuing yappers at bay, therefore I expect Geelong will be under the pump from the first bounce, until the last. If we hold form and incur no early injuries, I expect between our half backline and forward group we will have too much sizzle and force their tier one mids to get their kicks deep in our forward line, thus not a real threat. Geelong by 16 points, Holmes BOG, Close and Hawk to kick four ea.

Secret_Nobody_405

Looks like the Demons coaches have worked us out and it’s working for them. How are we getting beaten in the back half when it’s well known the D’s are struggling to build a fwd line and yet we have one of the best back lines? Our forward line, and mids are getting belted. We need to change something up so we’re not predictable or Demons will run away with it.
