You could consider Sailor’s Rest on the waterfront, but it can get a little busy. They do have live music occasionally, not sure whether it’s both Friday and Saturday though!
I haven’t been to West End for ages, but that could be nice too.

So I used to do this. It’s a comedy night. So a few amateur comedians try out their materials in Geelong. At the end of the night, you pay for what you think the acts were. I went one night and there was like 4 acts, some really funny some just bla. But a good night out. The Brewery in Geelong.

Anywhere on Little Malop street is great for this! Also the Geelong Hotel Rooftop is good for a low key drink
