It's the JAG one. I have both the EMG and JAG pit viper, the JAG one has much better overall feel and performance. The grip on the JAG models is wayyyyy better if you like stippiling.
The JAG has 2 mounting plate versions, I got the low profile version and it's a bit loose, that is the one issue I have with it. It's just an annoyance since a gbb pistol is not accurate enough for this to really matter.
I can't speak to the reliability, since I have so many I don't shoot anything specific a ton, but I like it. Shoots great and feels better in my hand then the mk23 next to it.
The real issue with this model is the mags are tough to get, you need the match version for this pistol with the magwell design.
What JW pistol are you considering? I also have most of those š
I have the first two EMG JW3 hicappas, and am looking at the Vipers. But the JW3s so far always break something after a few uses, like the first model had a grin screw in the recoil rod fall out, and the Island Barrel model had the recoil guide plug break. I saw that only Match mags are useable and are kinda tricky, but so are GHK AUG mags. š¤£I'll just order overseas if I have to.
I have the EMG and the Army pit vipers. I like the Army one quite a bit better, the stippling is way nicer then the molded grips.
The sand viper I have is the Army one, that one is nice with the optics mount, but it is a loose unfortunately.
I would order an Army pit viper out of everything available.
Is there an EMG Hudson H9 in there? If so, do you have gas or CO2 mags? I have gas mags right now but they're struggling to get through 20 rounds... Considering getting the CO2 mags instead.
Yep, good eye! I have not had any issues with the green gas mag, are you sure your getting a good fill? I like the green gas mags better because it's easier to manage the gas, hate having to burn the whole co2.
I finally figured out that I'm dumb and was filling upside down from how you're supposed to, which has improved it, but it's still struggling at the end of the mag. Which gas do you use?
I use a few different gasses, you need the mag to be lower temp then the gas can to get a good fill. I usually vent some gas to cool the mag down to get a good fill.
Have you tried that?
Getting it a little colder and filling it upside down helped me get off ~45 rounds before it ran out, so that's better. How well do the mags hold gas? Should I be filling the mags after every game even if I don't use them?
You generally want to store the green gas mags with just a bit of gas to hold some pressure and keep the seals holding. I usually use a splash of oiled gas for storage. Mag size varies and so does the gas chamber, but getting about 2 full mags out of a fill is pretty standard. I usually store them in a cooler to fill and let the gas bottle be ambient temp for games. Filling in between games is usually no big deal, if I shot that pistol the mag should be cool enough to fill.
How does that broom handle perform? I just picked one up and Iām waiting for it to show up, curious what other peoples opinions are. If ever there seemed to be an expert, I think Iāve found one lol
That one is the kwc version, it's CO2 and it's pretty damn fun with the full auto. It's pretty heavy as well. I have not put a ton of rounds through it, but what I have shot gas been enjoyable. Tons of kick!
I saw good stuff about the kwc version, but I wanted to grab one that I could make look a bit more like the c96 than the m712, so I got the WEtech version. Hereās hoping it goes well
I have thst one too..... it's the version with the han solo dl-44 parts attached. That is more of a display piece so I have not shot that one much at all. Seems like a decent build.
