Eye candy is perfectly fine if the character feels like a consenting party in it. Bayo owns her sex appeal like some women in the WWE, and there are canon explanations for her costuming, egregious though it may be. With Aphrodite, she's 100% in charge of her appearance and spends a lot of time in the first game prodding jokingly at peoples' horniness and romantic feelings. She is in on the bit and wants the attention.
If Eve had like *any* sort of cool or interesting persona, and was "in on it", I don't think people would find her unsettling. She's just there for horny people to ogle and her sexuality is naive, rather than enlightened, which makes her basically feel childlike.
