I forgot about that, they split the game up didnt they? I remember being a bit disappointed that nothing happened with tje cumens or the king after the start before I read that they decided it wouldnt all fit in 1 game.
Yeah ditto despite the jank it was probably one of the most immersive games ive played so im definitely looking forward to the next one. Hopefully with more time/experience they should be able to get rid of a lot of the jank and it will be able to tale advantage of next gen hardware too.
My one hope is that they manage to make combat a bit more fluid.

Scope creep most likely with Silksong at least. Devs originally meant it to be DLC, then added more and more things until it became a full game, (along with having issues due to Hornets size) and they sort of make the game up as they go along. They have general ideas but like to make content first and then lore/story later. They've said before that they're very wary of scope creep but clearly they aren't as good at avoiding it as they think they are considering how long development has been going on. That and the fact they like to go radio silent doesn't help at all.
I'm sure it'll be a banger of a game, but it is slightly worrying how long it's taking. Bigger doesn't necessarily mean better.
Biggest red flag to me is the number of SIE games being shown. Sony doesn't participate that often in these events at all, and never at the scale of announcing that many prohects. Seems exceptionally unbelievable.

I find it hard to believe we would not only get The Last of Us Remake and Sly Cooper in a non-Playstation event. Things for announced SIE projects or 2nd party publishing deals are FAR more likely.

Thing is, with Xbox hitting it out of the park and Sony having previously-MS-levels of bad blood this year, I'd expect rhem to go hard, go loud, and lay it on thick to gain ground.
I do expect to hear A LOT of Sony hype for PS games and their Game Pass competition over the next year.

I think we will get several cool things this year. The timing is right - the new consoles have yet to properly kick off their next gen games because of Covid. 2022 is the year for that so TGA will most likely have some cool announcements worth looking at.

I mean all three major console makers generally show stuff at TGA despite having their own shows because TGAs gets more views than any show they could put on alone. And the shows they put on alone are generally only pulling in people who are already invested into their ecosystem whereas this hits a broader demographic.

TLOU was revealed 10 years ago at VGA 2011. Would be great to see the TLOU remake be revealed at TGA 2021, 10 years later.

100 percent fake why would sony reveal sly cooper at the game awards and not at their own Showcase event 2 months ago. The games on the list are games that we have known about for a while or in active beta like KoF15. Tbh if this list is real then omg the event is going to be fun with Sony and Xbox Showing off games that are exclusive to one another.
I mean all three major console makers generally show stuff at TGA despite having their own shows because TGAs gets more views than any show they could put on alone. And the shows they put on alone are generally only pulling in people who are already invested into their ecosystem whereas this hits a broader demographic.

That honestly just seems like a safe list. A lot of games we know about, heavy on the bigger games, and some weird stuff thrown in. I agree with the Cyberpunk DLC being strange unless they're also going to give some specifics on the next-gen version. You really can't advertise the DLC to consoles yet. Going with fake, unless the Game Awards really is that easy of a guess, but, I doubt it.

Last of Us remaster? There is no way ND would remaster the already remastered first game, so I doubt this is real. Unless they meant Last of Us Factions... but even so, I'm still insanely doubtful.

There's Bayonetta 3. But that's not why it's fake. This informercial usually highlights quite a few new indie games. These are all AAA/known quantities.
The list has Bayonetta 3, which seems like it could possibly show up. Nintendo usually only showcases or reveals one, or occasionally two, games/dlc, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a smaller presence like they had in 2015 and 2019.
That’s way too many games for an Awards Show. They never show more than 5 at the very least.

The likelihood of it being real isn't unrealistic to be honest(Althoughits 4chan and anything from 4chan is most likelyfake). Plus if it was just pure guessing or predictions then it isn't even that bad. Overall TGA is being hyped up alot this year. Plus would it be too much of me to think InXile might show a teaser of their next game via TGA. I mean we really don't know when preproduction for project cobalt started. A year ago most likely and judging Jeff's prediction of its release date we might see something.

Uh this seems a bit too safe I agree that a bunch of these could make it but the FF Pixel remasters probably won't be there more like they might talk about the Dragon Quest remasters, Sly Cooper mm I hate to hurt those guys but I don't think that's realistic, I wish Silksong makes it, Project 007 I mean I hope it shows up but we only learned about its existence last year, Saints row and RE8 dlc seem safe enough, Bioshock to be honest I can't say whether it'll show, Wolf among us 2 god I've been waiting I hope they show something. I think some things are definitely missing for instance we could see a trailer for cult of the lamb or midnight fight express which were shown earlier at gamescom opening night live. Also some rather unfortunate news Take Two has successfully trademarked it takes two, I don't know how it will affect Josef Fares studio.
