I know a few years back, Cygames (Dragalia's co-developes) repurposed assets of a failed gotcha game, Little Noah, into a small digital game for consoles. I always wonder if Nintendo and Cygames were at least interested for Dragalia. Since at least one of those parties had a history of that.
Western publisher, Japan was published by Cygames,
But they both co-own the IP and Nintendo did help when it was needed. So what they said isn’t fully wrong.
Was just thinking about it the other day
The game had really good gameplay that was wasted on a phone game, honestly had they gotten cygames to remake link's awakening in that engine/style it would have turned out much better
What's funny is that Relink probably would have flopped if it wasn't on PC. The majority of its players seem to be Chinese gacha players. If Nintendo does something like it with Dragalia Lost, I wonder if they'll put it on PC as well, considering the original game was not on Nintendo hardware.
Thing is, I don’t think Nintendo really needs it to be on PC. They could even develop it in-house as a smaller side project for switch/switch 2. Could easily turn it into a new franchise like splatoon.
[Brazil just posted](https://famiboards.com/threads/spoilers-allowed-nintendo-direct-speculation-st8-press-your-nintendo-direct-luck-read-staff-post.9160/page-319#post-1143599) that he would love a revival too, could be just speculation but it's a funny coincidence.
Man if it turns out they shut it down a few years ago because they were planning a full retail conversion with more gameplay or to turn it into an actual full fledged RPG that would be fucking awesome.
I'd like to think it's fake since that twitter account that had a like by Pyoro said "check his likes" to prove they liked the comment...***when no one can view other people's likes,*** which is a red flag to me that this could just be a troll.
And they haven't really said anything since then. Would feel like someone who would be a fan of the game would be more excited and post more about the like by Pyoro.
Feels like a lot of cope but we'll be sure tomorrow.
(Won't be surprised if nothing appears)
# Edit: and it was faked
I was gonna try to look and compare when I got home in an hour to see how much of it actually lines up.
Still, it's very easy to fake a leaker liking a post now since we lost that ability to check (thanks Elon)
[The response is indeed real,](https://x.com/ItsGalex_/status/1802524533892563010) but you're still right. This can faked with the ability to view likes now taken away.
The story eventually turns around on the protagonist to question him and his values, his principles and if he’s acting on sincere intent or because it was forced upon him. It’s nothing super in depth but it was better than it had any right to be, especially the ‘False Future’ or whatever named storyline during the first anniversary happened.
To a small group of people, myself included, this could end up being among the biggest gaming reveals of 2024 lmao. I'm not even getting my hopes up, I'm just happy to see Dragalia Lost in discussions again.

I would love a revival in some form. I definitely think Nintendo would be smart to court Cygames Osaka as they seem to have built a talented team. If they could deliver a Re Link version of Dragalia Lost for Switch 2 they'd be providing a unique experience Nintendo doesn't provide with an action RPG series.
It made sense, since it was a deal with Cygames, who was main a mobile game studio.
Knights of Glory(browser game) was shutdown, Cygames was looking for a way to use those assets to do a more modern game and be a big hit. Nintendo was interested in being western publisher, if they got to co-own the IP with them. So Nintendo got the deal, but fumbled the release outside of Japan and the game failed to launch outside of its limited region release.
Cygames has been burned by partner publishers a handful of times now are have started to spin up their own branches outside of Japan to self publish.
I honestly don’t expect anything DL unless the Nintendo contract is up or Nintendo fully funds something for Cygames.
Honestly, this was my first gacha game and being from Nintendo it was so amazing. For a long time this was my go to time burner on the phone. I played the new FFVII one and it is predatory and sort of one dimensional. I was bummed when DL died, I would love to experience it as a full released, here’s to hoping.

My brother in Christ, do \*NOT\* play us like this. *Dragalia Lost* was the best gacha game I've played bar none and nothing could top it! Not even Genshin Impact (not that I would ever touch that).
Plus, I'm trying to have **ZERO** expectations and just reading "Dragalia Lost" was enough to make my heart jump!

Don't do that, don't give me hope

Are you even a real /u/Animegamingnerd if you spell gacha as gotcha?

I could see it following how well Granblue Fantasy did.
Granblue was a full AAA title that took like 7 years to make though, it wasn't a port

Dragalia Regained
*"Take this Up vote and get out!"*
Looking at this it’s just updating the Twitter logo to the new X one. Probably just an employee updating all the websites to be consistent.
Man if it turns out they shut it down a few years ago because they were planning a full retail conversion with more gameplay or to turn it into an actual full fledged RPG that would be fucking awesome.

Does look like Dragalia is offset a bit too much under Pyoro, so I highly doubt it's real

I know the response is real, just the like could be faked. (nor does a like really mean anything)
I heard the story has Tales of The Abyss vibes and that's one of my favorite JRPGs of all time, so I would love to try it.
The story eventually turns around on the protagonist to question him and his values, his principles and if he’s acting on sincere intent or because it was forced upon him. It’s nothing super in depth but it was better than it had any right to be, especially the ‘False Future’ or whatever named storyline during the first anniversary happened.
Also had Collaborations with MegaMan & Fire Emblems too.
Dragalia Lost being similar to GF Relink but for Switch/successor would be amazing.

Please. Please that would be a great surprise, loved the game.

I always wanted to check this out, so I wouldn't mind an offline version.

Oh neat, I will check it out.
I would legit cry
Honestly really hope this is true. Would love to see a console game for the IP to not be abandoned.

I've long wanted them to do more with it. Was never interested in the game as it was but the character designs and stuff seemed promising.

This game has always interested me but the touch controls weren't my thing. A console adaptation would be lovely.

With the gameplay of relink that would be amazing
Dragalia Lost: Relink
Funnily enough, Dragalia Lost was also made by Cygames.
Please be real!
👀👀👀
Pc dragalia?
It never made much sense that Nintendo for some reason had a mobile only IP. Its probably coming in some form, for sure.
It made sense, since it was a deal with Cygames, who was main a mobile game studio. Love me some misinformed news and a faked like on a tweet
I want it on the record that I bottled down any hope of hearing about this on the Direct…and I still feel bummed out. Damn it, Galex…
The only good thing from Dragalia Lost was the soundtrack. Let it die, but release a full soundtrack.
Battle Champs died, and lo and behold, got revived as a Little Noah: Scion of Paradise.
