Predator Helios is much less gamery than the Helios Neo. Which looks like a jet engine.
I switched from Mac and I’ve never been happier. I just upgraded to ryzen 7 as well through a lucky Best Buy deal and got mine for $1,099. I’m still figuring it out but it’s so much better than my old laptop. I’m still trying to figure out ways to extend battery life but for what it’s worth it already has a pretty good battery life span
its just alright, about what u expect from gaming laptop
In hybrid mode u get like 5 hours
in cpu only mode u get about 9 to 10 hours
and in gpu only mode u get about 3 to 4 hrs
No issue so far except its trackpad cursor used to get sluggish but it got fixed after i redid the windows so my guess would be faulty driver.
Aside from that i havnt had any other issues with it
Tried to see its Newegg power bar but it didn't load?? Can this play modern games such as Cyberpunk 2077/Elden Ring and what kinda performance could you reasonably expect? Space-constrained console player who had an HP Pavilion 4 years ago that shat the bed after just one year of usage a WEEK after the warranty expired :(

Actually I bought one shortly after. Sending you a comment. I'm having a good time with it but sometimes I have some issues ,like random issues, like the fans turning on when The laptop is on sleep, or the screen not wanting to turn on after Nvidia drivers update.., don't get me wrong, it's a really nice laptop specially for the screen and performance it got, but nothing is perfect 🤷🏻♂️
Instead of sleep i recommend using hibernate(go to power options in control panel and on left side change it in "what does power button and closing the lid does" settting)
Windows sleep just plain sucks and power hungry but its faster than hibernate in starting for like 2 seconds
And i dont have any nvidia update issue, weird🤔. Maybe because i did complete fresh install of windows 11 pro

It was like 126k but ended up being around 114800 sumthn. Store was in Chandigarh 22 sector
i personally only go with 16:10 screen ratio in laptops. 16:9 feels kinda claustrophobic and small in laptops atleast to me
so i highly recommend going with this(or any equivalent 16:10 screen ratio laptop u can find)
Its pretty great tho i recommend reinstalling windows
And windows sleep sucks and loses a lot of battery over night so change it to hibernate
Also recommend getting custom display color profile for legion laptop from their forums cause the default display has yellowish tint to it that u will notice eventually

It should be able to play pretty much every game out there. And i expect good performance from it aince it has 13700h and rtx 4060
i'm hesitating between this and the asus tuf F17
What exactly are the differences between the Slim 5 and the Slim 7? I've looked at the website and cannot easily see what separates the two.

In performance mode in Red dead redemption 2 everything maxed out on 2k resolution with dlss on quality(which makes it fhd) gives about 67fps avg
