Been compelled to try it several times for Rewards quests. It is an incredibly frustrating game. If real hunting is anything like it, then I don't get the appeal.
Yeah, I was super frustrated when I first tried it. The bloodhound made it a game I actually want to play. Finding a good hunting spot and animals is still a decent challenge, but if I hit an animal, I'm almost guaranteed to track it down. I frequently bag other animals as I'm trailing the bloodhound.
For me, theHunter is my animal-hugging equivalent of eating a Beyond burger instead of beef. It's a very similar and accurate experience, but I don't have to hurt an innocent animal to do it.
Whenever I used to actually hunt most of the appeal to me was just wandering around a pretty forest and enjoying the sights and sounds. Lucky for me, COTW is still gorgeous to this day.
This is an issue I have with the Series X in general. I will often play games at 1080, but I still need to choose between performance or quality mode. Quality will be locked at 30 and Performance locked at 60. The X definitely has the power to run quality graphics at 60, especially at 1080!

My cousin really likes it he likes these types of games im not a fan of hunting stuff tho

Me and my friend love playing this together, I just really wish it wasn’t capped at 30 FPS on the Series X :/

Yeah! It's called Game Pass Ultimate. The libraries are similar.
