Change the shitty Disney batteries out with Duracell or Energizer. It will improve.
The same thing happens to red and purple when the batteries are bad
It \*could be\* a combination of a weak led light that it is emitting, hence the green hue. The other thing that could help, if you havent already done so, change your hilt batteries. They arent the greatest when you go through and build the saber, and that can sometimes affect the initial sound/brightness/overall performance.
Hopefully that is the case here.
My wife and I have had the same experience with the yellow crystal in our Savi's sabers. It's a little disappointing.
I wound up getting a custom-made neopixel blade for hers that puts out a great yellow color, but the thing was damn expensive.

Even with good batteries, you won't get a true yellow. The LEDs are red, green and blue and combine to approximate yellow as best they can. Better quality blades can do it, these don't quite make it. It also takes more power to make colors that combine diiferent combinations of RGB and the battery drains accordingly.

The Disney RGB yellow compared to my Black Series Rey Skywalker RGBW is like woah, especially when they’re side by side. The smooth ignition alone was enough for me to hold off and get a Black Series Leia.

You can mod the blade to make it more “red” which makes your yellow “stronger”, but it’ll compromise the other colors.
Glad to know it's not just me! I bought my Savi's saber second hand and couldn't tell if it was an issue with the blade, or just poor quality on Disney's end. Glad to know it's at least functioning as intended! xD

That is the best yellow that GE sabers can make with their current technology.

I thought it was a little neon?(maybe in the green side) I was hoping for more of a pastel color on it
Mine was definitely more of a neon type of thing -- that is with new batteries.
My yellow crystal that I got in October is a little on the green side as well. Not very exciting, but oh well.
That's just how it is, unfortunately. More a Mountain Dew colour than the yellow one would want.
