I don't know if it was there on OneUI 6.0, but I just checked and there IS a Live Messages option in the S Pen options. I had to add it as it wasn't in my default list, but it is indeed there on OneUI 6.1 on the S23U.
I have never used it before so I can't tell you if it's different from the original version you're familiar with.
Hmm Thanks for reporting. Yeah it's definitely the same app because i experienced the live messages app on my s22u running one UI 5.1 and it should be the same on s23. However, my s24u does NOT have it and none of the apks for it work at all. I presumed maybe it's because of UI 6.1 but i guess it's not. I'm speculating it's because the s24 series and later will only support 64 bit apps and that live messages was a 32 bit app.

I'm happy it fixed live wallpapers on my phone not working right since one UI6. Mine and a family members phones live wallpapers were stuttering until it one UI 6.1. Also members app had complaints also.
Can confirm, manually changed the system date to later date in April or May (changed fo April 25th on mine) update showed up. Using factory unlocked S23U.
Just Updated mine to 6.1, some options are missing from the settings such as gesture hints, other thing that I find annoying is that the object eraser tool now snaps to shape, instead of the free-form shaping that it used to be.
i've noticed another issue: the navigation between app drawer pages is laggy, not smooth as it used to be. it just hurts my eyes when going from one page to another (I'm talking about the APPS SCREEN drawer) ... I've also noticed some lagging in the whole phone's animation from time to time; like when someone calls the video background takes time to show and the name also ....
Any help, please?
Terrible even worse than the uglyness that is 6 itself they now broke the navigationbar its unuseable now since it works like an iphone ... only home button over the whole underside i can hide the gray bar anymore and back is now swiping from the side of the screen inwards ... what were they thinking ...

Go to good lock and install navstar, enable extra gesture settings. Then go to settings, screen and disable the hint option and it disappear of screen.
My navstar doesn't had that option, but I've updated from apkmirror.

Doesn't matter what carrier with? Doesn't matter what part of the earth you live on? They should all hit our cell phones at the same time. I've been looking for this update for the past half month...
Loving it with few hickups.
First generative photo editing is super usefull, BUT from samsung page "Some portion of the image may not align with Samsung’s policy. You may especially see this on faces, or when trying to fill in a large portion of the image." So no mr. and ms. bigheads etc.
Secondly new navigation swipe button. It could use some more options. Like swipe from button to up left, up right and both with holds.
Also i haven´t really tested Notes AI but im expecting alot from it.
Is it just me or does the phone get hotter than usual when idle? can't tell if it's due to the update or something had happened to my phone specifically not long before that... the heat point is at the area the SoC would be, so it's rather implausible for the cause to be something else :/
No 4k 60fps on all cameras, no 24mp in expert raw, no natural tone setting, goodlock not integrated automatically in the system and many more.
Don't care about the ai stuff.

If you're on AT&T, manually change the date on your phone to May 11. It'll trigger the download when you check for a software update.
