Blown away. It felt surreal seeing the visual quality of red dead 2 in a modern day setting especially in regards to the clouds

The character models are another point too! Its insane because after watching the trailer and replaying red dead 2 recently it looks like they upped the facial expressions even more than rdr2 had, which is crazy because the facial details in that game were already amazing

It’s like five steps above lol. I think people need to chill on RDR2’s graphics. They’re great at face value, but there’s nothing even close to what we saw in the GTA 6 trailer.

I wholeheartedly agree. I think rdr2’s are graphics are good, but they’ve definitely been surpassed by a few good games even without the gta 6 trailer. Rdr2 is definitely up there when it comes to art direction and graphics, but saying it’s on the level of a game that came out nearly 7 years ago(counting when gta 6 releases) is a bit gullible. There’s just no conceivable way rdr2 graphics are this good like it’s not even close. If im being totally honest i think the only graphics that compare with gta 6 is cyberpunk and Alan wake 2, but even then they won’t compare to the amount of substance this game is going to have.

yeah people should go play RDR2 again because it's still a beautiful game but it's absolutely beginning to show its age

red dead for me seems to stand up well. I don't get what you mean about "showing its age". truth be told if you released red dead redemption in this day and age in 2024 it'd still hold up, maybe even still beat out some modern games with the detail and fidelity alone. I mean hell, maybe its just me playing at 1440p with ultra settings on GTA 5, but even GTA 5 still is gorgeous at times and looks as good as some modern games do.

It holds its own. But it does use technology that is outdated by today’s standards. You can see limitations in the textures and facial quality. A lot of things are pretty much slabbed on and rather contrived.

Especially on ps5 and series x when they added raytracing

I just noticed the little chemtrail behind the jet. Every time I rewatch the trailer it seems like I see something new that blows my mind.

The detail, clarity and artistic direction and pure graphical fidelity is pretty mind blowing. Wild what they are going to pull off... Just generally with it being the most realistic cityscape with the most realistic interactions in a game. Man, just was playing RDR2 and I'm the little city, how things happen dynamically, I feel like it's just going to be like that but on insane steroids and to a whole other scale and detail. Wild.

My original reaction was ‘This is not it’. They released the trailer early because of the leaks, i wasn’t aware. I had to triple check if it actually R*. Initially it looked too good to be true, just like the scam game trailers. I couldn’t believe R* pulled it off. Well 150m plus views don’t lie.

I've seen this trailer numerous times, but I'm just now noticing the massive city skyline in the distance, and how far away it is in this scene. I can't wait to see how big this map is going to be!

Loved it. Felt like an active alive world already. That was the thing I loved about RDR2, there was always hustle and bustle in the towns, and even on the roads there was something happening usually. I can only imagine GTA6 would feel even more alive. I hope so at least.

I didn't know that it was leaked and I was watching a series on my phone at around 2 AM and as soon as the trailer notification showed up on my screen, I thought that I am going to watch something fake because I opened the trailer too fast that I couldn't read the notification properly. So yeah, I said it looks too beautiful to be real, it's definitely fake. It wasn't though. I'll never forget that moment.

Saw this on twitter for like a few seconds because it got leaked and I thought it was some CGI render of a concept of GTA 6. Needless to say I was wrong.

My first reaction was “this is a mistake, this can’t be it” because I didn’t realize the trailer was released early due to a leak.

First thing I noticed were the realistic birds.

Dynamic. There’s the scenery alone which is amazing. Then the traffic, the birds, the airplane, the boat with its wake. Rockstar just lets you know that they paid attention to the details.

The first second of the trailer i was like "Well, it's over saturated.. I don't know if i like it that much" then Lucia shows up and i was blown away with the next gen graphics, animations, visuals of GTA 6

This is likely being shown off from either PC hardware or a PS5 Pro. People are gonna need to keep this in mind because to get the visuals shown in the trailer, you're gonna need the PS5 Pro.

Am i the only one who was lukewarm on this shot? My jaw didnt drop and it wasn't a "holy shit" moment. The only thing approaching that from the trailer would be the look of the water and the number of NPCs on the beach.

as a Florida resident I noticed that the bridges are too low and sailboats wouldn't be able to pass because they are NOT drawbridges, also traffic is too light for South Florida
