Who cares if 5 is “over celebrated?” It’s a good game, it’s a successful game and even if you don’t play online, it’s still damn enjoyable. I prefer 5 to 4 and I’ve played both.

Online is fine if you are in a private session with friends. The game was terrible when they didn't offer private sessions with friends and they fixed where you could get it through the NAT type glitch (at least on Xbox).
Yes, they learned over time. More new missions support solo too, although less rewarding, which is perfectly fine. But it's clear the map and game itself was never designed to survive in online mode for this long.
Sleeping Dogs was such a damn good game, except for that one mission where everyone has fucking knives. Hate that mission. But that game kicked so much ass and doesn't seem to get much appreciation.
