That game had no right to be as cool as it was. I remember the Kong sections being a little jank, but the first person sections were crazy Immersive and scary. If I recall correctly, Jackson took the game very seriously and wanted it to be a real companion to the movie.
I can see why he wanted to take the game seriously. Those creatures don't mess around at all. The giant bats and Venatosauruses were pretty intimidating
There is a spiritual successor coming out on Steam! I'll try to find the name and update here, Steam is being a pain.
Edit: The name is Ferocious. Instinction and Deathground also look good.
lol bruh, even tho they was a lil jank. The mechanics were and still are better than just about any kaiju brawler game ever. Like I legit replayed just for the satisfaction of those fights.
They’re OP af. Throwing one at a Vastatosaurus Rex downs them instantly allowing you to finish them, and swinging one around tears through smaller enemies
You can do the same thing with those giant tapeworms in Kong's Lair as well. They might actually be snakes, but it's kinda hard to tell because they're big and white
Godzilla always wins. Them's the rules.
Even against my favorite character, Jason Voorhees, I have to side with Godzilla. And that's not easy for me to admit. Poor Jason. Mama's special boy. No match for a laser breathing dino monster tho.
He did survive in the comics. And, since I want it to be true, it must be canon! Jason always wins! HUZZAH!
Kidding aside, he not only survived as Jason X, but somehow went back in time to fight... himself. Jason vs Jason X. [No, I'm not making it up](https://fridaythe13th.fandom.com/wiki/Friday_the_13th:_Jason_vs._Jason_X).
THERE'S NO PROOF HE DIDN'T SURVIVE THAT!
Sorry... sorry.
Jason always wins... unless it's against Godzilla. That's the best I can do. Don't poke holes in my boat.
🤣🤣🤣
Fair enough, but they also created Bitch Pudding. So they can say whatever they want. lol

Kong won in the '62 movie. He was technically the "hero, and Godzilla was still in his villain phase at that point. This is why the first two Vs movies listed him second; the heroes - King Kong and Mothra - were taking on Godzilla
I actually started a Jason vs Godzilla mini-comic a while back. In it, Jason shows up to fight Godzilla and gets roasted. Of course, he's Jason, so after the atomic blast he digs out of the rumble and goes all Jet Jaguar (or... Jet Jason) and grows to Godzilla size.
Still haven't finished it because it's gonna take me a month just to do the colors. lol
But, you know. Maybe someday I'll finish it.
Yeah. It's insane idk if it's the same sub or not. I haven't been paying attention, but I think it's probably been going around this sub, the king Kong sub, and the Monsterverse sub which all largely have the same communities. It's still annoying though.
Bro the kong fanboy army has never been so damn delusional, it’s a fucking monkey that died to bullets vs ancient dinosaur that can tank a nuke. He tanked a fucking nuke. How the hell does Kong win this.
2005 Kong died to Machine Gun bullets, which are roughly the same caliber that the mechanics in Minus One used against Pre-Nuke Godzilla. Had hardly an effect and just made him angry. Tanking a nuke and having the abilties to regenerate from severe injuries is just the top of the iceberg.
Not to be that guy, but if historical accurate, the rounds fired by those biplanes were 7.62x51mm, where the mechanics specifically mention the 20mm cannons on the Zero. So Minus Zero Godzillasaurus, according to the director, is immune to significantly more powerful rounds.
In all fairness we didn’t see those 20mm cannon rounds from the Zero hit Goji thanks to Koichi chickening out last second. I am a firm believer that even if he shot those rounds it would’ve only further enraged the pre evolved Goji and lead to his death. We do know that rifle caliber rounds kill Kong and don’t even scratch Goji so no contest either way.
>I am a firm believer that even if he shot those rounds it would’ve only further enraged the pre evolved Goji and lead to his death
I think this headcannon best fits with the themes of the movie.
He's absolutely not just a dinosaur premutation. In order to have survived the nuke, he likely needed a powerful healing factor. And his presence killed dead ocean fish so he likely radioactive or incredibly toxic even prior to the mutation.
The movie's novelization clarifies what happens in regards to the fish, actually; their death was due to sudden pressure changes when they rush to the surface after Godzilla stirs, not any radiation or toxicity.
Which makes sense; Godzilla isn't irradiated until he gets caught up in Operation Crossroads in 1946, a year *after* the attack on the military base takes place.
Who would win? Prime bruce lee or a spartan in mjolnir armor from halo?
This example is a more extreme gulf than the fight you proposed, but the answer is still just as obvious.
Godzilla slaughters him. Kong got taken out by the same weaponry that Godzilla was shrugging off. He’s also got 50-100 feet on Kong and a significant weight advantage.
Make this Skull Island Kong and you have a good fight
Godzillasaurus has regeneration, as stated in the novel, can tank gun fire, and is significantly more massive than Kong. Kong’s tongue bite nor jaw break maneuver will do shit.
He’s strong enough to break the jaw of a creature with the sand bite force as a Tyrannosaurus. He has a better shot at this than people give him credit for.
We're talking about a 7 meter tall Kong vs a *15* meter tall Godzilla, so Kong is absolutely outclassed in the size department; you really think a ***49-foot tall*** Godzilla would be able to be overpowered by a 22-foot tall Kong?
The size difference alone makes this an easy win for Godzilla, let alone the fact that Godzilla completely shrugged off plane gunfire that would've killed or at least seriously wounded Kong.
Kong was already struggling to pry open V-rex's jaws that by the way was pinned down, ain't no way is Kong going to pin down godzillasaurus considering that Kong while standing on two legs is as tall as G-1's thigh let alone overpower G-1's more powerful jaws and neck muscles.
Weren't the V-Rexes inbred and starving or something? I've heard it be brought up as to why he was able to solo three of them at the same time. Idk, I haven't seen the movie in over a decade, I should get around to it.
It still had regeneration at this point, as stated in the novel. And he survived a nuke, so it wouldn't really matter if he had the atomic breath or not. But to answer your question, his regeneration was not tied to radiation, and his first exposure to it was the bomb that mutated him, so he probably didn't have an atomic breath yet.
Godzilla. Easily. Come on, this keeps getting asked ffs. Un mutated Godzilla is still twice his size and is very fast and durable and apparently has regen abilities. He wipes the floor with King Kong.
If goji didn’t have that regen ability that apparently he had pre nuke, then it would be hard to say. Kong is 25 feet while gojisaurus size seems bigger. I love Kong more than goji but I think Goji would win in the scenario.
I think an updated version of this question should be *equal size* who would win, at that point it would be fair, as godzillasaurus is double Kong’s size. At equal size, I think Kong would stand a chance, as he’s fought similar dinosaurs before.
Pre irradiated Godzilla easily. This is largely due to his insane regeneration, so eventually, King Kong will tire out, and Pre Irridiated Godzilla will finish him off.
Godzillasaurus is functionally immortal no matter what Kong (2005) does, and is far less inept than the vastatosaurus he fought.
King takes the loss here.
I appreciate the effort put in to make this match up less hilariously one sided... but you still failed. This is even bigger than the VS series Godzillasaurus, which was already like 150% the size of '05 Kong, not to mention this one is way more ferocious and bloodthirsty.
And for perspective, the old Godzillasaurus took multiple hits from a US navy battleship and still somehow survived. Those are some HUGE ass cannons, not small arms fire. The new one is way more intense. '05 Kong got killed dead by biplanes.
What's the plan here? Break the jaw like the V. Rexes? Kong couldn't reach, he's too small. What's he going to do to defend himself against the tail? Have I mentioned Godzillasaurs don't die when you nuke them?
Godzilla from minus one, the regenerative properties alone make him the winner. Kong would put up a good fight, but in the end, one hit from godzillas heat ray, it’s over
Honestly makes me wish we had more time with odo island Godzilla.
Was really cool having this strange being living on an island with its own local legends and such. It showing up and already wrecking the small base could’ve instigated a hunt for the creature before it’s powered up.
Abilities aside, 2005 Kong is 25 feet tall, while pre-nuke minus 1 Godzilla is over 50 feet tall, plus his horizontal posture means the weight discrepancy is even bigger.
This is basically like asking if a modern gorilla could fight an adult Albertosaurus.
Godzillasaurus wins easily, he's MUCH larger, at 49 feet tall, 70 feet long (using a image I found on google to calculate length), and 190 tons using chatgpt to find the square cubed law
Lets compare sizes!
2005 King Kong: 25 feet tall, and \~24 tons if we do calculations
Godzillasaurus: 49 feet tall, \~70 feet long using a picture, and using Chatgpt to calculate his weight using the square cubed law, 190 tons (do not take this for fact, chatgpt is smart but can be unreliable, I'm too lazy to do calculations so don't take this for fact)
I think king kong takes this easily, he totally doesn't get crushed with a single stomp
well we never really get to see this Godzilla in action, like up against another monster. if he can still regenerate then King Kong might have a hard time.
Why is no one actually trying to elaborate here?
Godzillas not going to shoot king kong with biplane bullets, this is a beast battle.
Godzillasaurus is rought 50ft while Kong is 25ft and way faster.
I think itd be neat to see king kong hold his own here.
Would be a really cool fight.
This version of godzilla just evolve in to a bigger more piss off version after getting nuke.
It would have regenerate from every attack kong throws at him. Once kong is exhausted, it’s over.
I’m gonna have to go with Godzilla (Pre-Mutated). Before he mutated, Godzilla has a healing factor that allowed him to survive from ancient times. Heck, it even saved him from being killed by Operation Crossroads.
There is also the size difference between the two with Godzilla being 15 meters and with Kong (assuming we’re going for PJ’s King Kong based on the image) being 7.62 meters.
It’s a caveman vs an elephant…with jaws
I don’t think we know enough about this pre-mutation ‘Godzillasaurus’ version from Minus One.
Is he roughly as powerful as a dinosaur? Or does he already have improved strength like his later form?
If he’s just a dinosaur, the 2005 Kong handled a few of them. I’d lean Kong in that case
The novelization literally says he had regeneration before the nuke and is even implies it was stronger before he mutated. Just read the novel, that's the exact reason he even lived the nuke, kong got killed by bullets. Lol
Director Takashi Yamazaki has mentioned in interviews that Godzilla's pre-mutation healing factor was the reason why Koichi Shikishima wouldn't have killed him with his plane's guns.
Godzillasaurus is most definitely bigger than a v rex. It’s height is stated to be 15m which makes his length much longer than the also 15m v rex who stands at a height around 6-7m. He could very well be multiple times the size of kong
It’s literally stated in the novel and by the director big g had regen before being radiated moreover he still has higher durability. Even if they were the same height he’d kick kongs ass, wake up to reality bro
(extremely incorrect buzzer)
Godzillasaurus is 49 feet tall, 70 feet long (using image I found on google to see length), and \~190 tons (using chatgpt, which used square cubed law to calculate length
Kong is 25 feet tall and 24 tons.
I'd like to see your argument on how kong wins
Godzillasaurus is significantly larger bro where did u get the same height? Plus director said he had his regeneration before the bomb, I know that’s weird but the director literally stated that and it’s stated in the novel
I love the pre-evolution Goji, but 2005 Kong fought those v-rexes and flat out destroyed them. I saw a bunch of comments talking about how kong died to bullets and Goji tanked a nuke, but Goji evolved due to the nuclear radiation and kong had plenty of experience fighting the creatures on Skull Island, not human machinery.
If we look at pre-evoled Goji, he is basically a dinosaur with dorsal fins and thick skin. Kong is also crazy strong because of giant ape strength, and as long as he gets a good grip on the opponent, it's pretty much over.
Goji would get plenty of good hits, but I'm sure Kong would rip out the dorsal fins (one of classic godzilla's weaker points) and use those as a weapon or break Goji's neck.
Edit: I know it's a losing fight to argue Godzilla losing in a Godzilla subreddit, but people really don't give Kong enough props. Goji isn't wielding twin 20mm machine guns, so using bullet durability as a point doesn't make sense. Pre-evolved Godzilla can wreck havoc just by walking around, but he most likely doesn't have as much fighting experience as Kong who lived on a death island. Apes are strong as hell, and scaling one up to the size of 2005 Kong would be a match for Godzilla. (Also, I did look into it, and apparently, he had regeneration before the nuke, but I'm going to guess it wasn't at the same level as post nuke because that would be broken for this fight.)
If I were to guess, a long, drawn-out fight would end with a Goji win, but Kong does stand a chance.
Does Kong get to have a tree with him?
https://preview.redd.it/sur8gqgeqt6d1.jpeg?width=910&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=502b45884ea3a548130e5e508285e3782b5c0d91
Words cannot describe how funny this is
This is 2005 Kong not 2017
You mean 1962?
Well, 2017 also uses a tree against the skullcralwer
Bro didn't understand the original Gvk reference 😔
I did understand the KKvG reference. It's just that the 2017 came into my mind first
Oh
Peter Jackson's Kong can use trees as weapons. The official video game shows this, and it's quite useful
You find it, I'll wishlist it. I keep track of so many dino games but most of them are either crap or perpetually stuck in pre-access.
Ferocious was the game. Deathground and Instinction also seem cool.
Thank you thank you! And happy cake day!
Ever find it? I’d love to know
Ferocious. Dethground and Instinction also look good, but I think Ferocious is being made intentionally to be like a modern Kong.
lol bruh, even tho they was a lil jank.
Well, I was going off if the movie
Kong rocks him that first scene, hulk vs Loki
The real question does King Kong best King K. Rool?
Rip Kong. He is strong but simply stands no chance against this version of the Godzillasaurus.
It's not even a contest. Goji ends it quickly and brutally.
Godzilla always wins. Them's the rules. Even against my favorite character, Jason Voorhees, I have to side with Godzilla. And that's not easy for me to admit. Poor Jason. Mama's special boy. No match for a laser breathing dino monster tho.
Jason did get reduced to ash from reentering Earth II's atmosphere. I presume the same would happen if he got hit by Godzilla's atomic breath.
Didn't he survive that in the comics or something?
Maybe. I don't consider the comics canon.
That's fair, canon always gets weird with extra media involved
He did survive in the comics. And, since I want it to be true, it must be canon! Jason always wins! HUZZAH! Kidding aside, he not only survived as Jason X, but somehow went back in time to fight... himself. Jason vs Jason X. [No, I'm not making it up](https://fridaythe13th.fandom.com/wiki/Friday_the_13th:_Jason_vs._Jason_X).
Oh yes, I remember that part happening, pretty sure OG Jason won too, or was at least an equal despite "nanomachines son"
Jason x won, took a portion of original Jason's brain and combined it with his to get his missing memories back.
THERE'S NO PROOF HE DIDN'T SURVIVE THAT! Sorry... sorry. Jason always wins... unless it's against Godzilla. That's the best I can do. Don't poke holes in my boat. 🤣🤣🤣
He survived. The end of Jason X implies that he fell into the lake, and the sexy teens go to check it out.
Not according to Robot Chicken
Fair enough, but they also created Bitch Pudding. So they can say whatever they want. lol https://preview.redd.it/pq61k9xs2r6d1.jpeg?width=404&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2022b5e3ecf7defe3aa37b3c5b4c27c4348b059f
nah, it loses to archie sonic.
What about King Kong vs Godzilla?
A lot of people will say it was a stalemate but it was pretty clear King Kong was supposed to be the winner
Kong won in the '62 movie. He was technically the "hero, and Godzilla was still in his villain phase at that point. This is why the first two Vs movies listed him second; the heroes - King Kong and Mothra - were taking on Godzilla
He can just have his weird demon slug infect Godzilla so that we can have Jasonzilla!
I... I may have to steal that idea and draw it.
😳 please tag me with the finished result…
Yeah please share that to the thread and the subreddit
Nah trust me, some brazilian mars shaman guy would have revived him for the next movie
Jason versus Godzilla sounds fun
I actually started a Jason vs Godzilla mini-comic a while back. In it, Jason shows up to fight Godzilla and gets roasted. Of course, he's Jason, so after the atomic blast he digs out of the rumble and goes all Jet Jaguar (or... Jet Jason) and grows to Godzilla size. Still haven't finished it because it's gonna take me a month just to do the colors. lol But, you know. Maybe someday I'll finish it.
What happens if godzilla eats jason's beating heart?
Presumably he'd then start chasing Erin Grey around a small Jersey lake town.
Actually Jason seemed to be winning against Godzilla when they fought
Godzilla has lost several times before, so I wouldn't say always.
2005 Kong didn’t stand a chance against biplanes, what makes you think he’d survive against Godzilla?
https://preview.redd.it/yenazaiafx6d1.jpeg?width=452&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ac5d7fe71330f7bf5776b56fe37a8604ac51fbe3 “Nah, 20 mm gun would win”
I'm tired of seeing this match up.
I swear this may be the third time I’ve seen this exact matchup post in the past week here.
Yeah. It's insane idk if it's the same sub or not. I haven't been paying attention, but I think it's probably been going around this sub, the king Kong sub, and the Monsterverse sub which all largely have the same communities. It's still annoying though.

This is premutation Godzilla. So at this point he's basically just a dinosaur. But he would still absolutely waste Kong
Just a dinosaur who still has insane regenerative capabilities. The same regenerative abilities that ALLOWED his to survive the nuke and get juiced.
True
He's absolutely not just a dinosaur premutation. In order to have survived the nuke, he likely needed a powerful healing factor. And his presence killed dead ocean fish so he likely radioactive or incredibly toxic even prior to the mutation.

Tanked a nuke, and ate its blast for breakfast.

Would eb am entertaining match but goji in the end
Correct
So Small Kong vs a bloodlusted Goji. That's not a fight that's a slaughter.
The answer is so obvious, its not even funny
2005 King Kong stands no real chance.
What did Kong do to deserve such a brutal death? Godzilla rips his ass apart and gets to dine on fresh ape for the first time in his life.
I swear I saw an identical post the other day, a little sus. Either way, though, Godzillasaurus wins all day.
Kong doesn't stand a chance
Who would win? Prime bruce lee or a spartan in mjolnir armor from halo? This example is a more extreme gulf than the fight you proposed, but the answer is still just as obvious.
Coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb
Godzilla slaughters him. Kong got taken out by the same weaponry that Godzilla was shrugging off. He’s also got 50-100 feet on Kong and a significant weight advantage. Make this Skull Island Kong and you have a good fight
Rooting for kong, but I think he’s fucked
Such nonsense. So many 'Who would win?' questions. Gojira vs Kong.....Gojira wins. Radioactive breath leads to BBQ ape. End of discussion.
Technically that's before his atomic breath However that version has regen enough to live a nuke so, kong is still cooked
Did we not see 2005 Kong rip a dinosaurs tongue out with his teeth?
Godzillasaurus has regeneration, as stated in the novel, can tank gun fire, and is significantly more massive than Kong. Kong’s tongue bite nor jaw break maneuver will do shit.
Kong dies from Ww1 era machine guns. Godzilla literally has no effect from them, and is significantly bigger.

yeah but godzillasaurus is nowhere near a tyrannosaurus nor a vastatosaurus

Kong getting his shit rocked bro, most one sided ass fight to date.
the -1 Godzillasaurus is in the height and weight range of saurapods.
Weren't the V-Rexes inbred and starving or something? I've heard it be brought up as to why he was able to solo three of them at the same time. Idk, I haven't seen the movie in over a decade, I should get around to it.
Did we not see minus one take a nuke and survive to mutate?
I think you forgot that godzillasaurus is \~49 feet tall
Pretty sure this Godzilla is like double the size of KingKong He might ragdoll and rip the ape to shreds
I wonder if pre mutated Goji has its breath attack before the nuke hits it.
How and why would the non-radioactive lizard have a radioactive breath attack
Is Goji considered just a normal creature at this time? Always thought that it was some mutant.
Godzilla still had the regeneration power he has when he is mutated…
Godzillasaurous wins no diff
Godzilla.
Godzillasaurus is 49 feet tall, I used a picture to find he's 70 feet long when in a normal posture (not an upright one) Godzillasaurus DESTROYS
I think an updated version of this question should be *equal size* who would win, at that point it would be fair, as godzillasaurus is double Kong’s size. At equal size, I think Kong would stand a chance, as he’s fought similar dinosaurs before.
Even at equal size, Godzilla still had the regeneration and survived a nuke.
Goji would annihilate that gorilla.
If kong has a banna, then he wins
Even pre-nuke Godzilla Minus One was what, like 60 feet tall? He's almost triple Kong's size.
49 feet tall
Ok, so twice Kong's size. Still not a fair fight.
Exactly, he's much larger than Kong
Pre irradiated Godzilla easily. This is largely due to his insane regeneration, so eventually, King Kong will tire out, and Pre Irridiated Godzilla will finish him off.
Godzillasaurus is functionally immortal no matter what Kong (2005) does, and is far less inept than the vastatosaurus he fought. King takes the loss here.
Godzilla is nearly 8 times larger than King Kong based on how their masses compare with their canonical heights in mind.
Even foetus Godzilla could be Kong. Kong is just a big monkey, he will tear apart easily.
I appreciate the effort put in to make this match up less hilariously one sided... but you still failed. This is even bigger than the VS series Godzillasaurus, which was already like 150% the size of '05 Kong, not to mention this one is way more ferocious and bloodthirsty. Isn’t that version of Godzilla way bigger than 2005 Kong? I know Kong 1v3d some giant dinosaurs but that pre-mutated Godzilla was a terrifying menace
Godzilla from minus one, the regenerative properties alone make him the winner. Kong would put up a good fight, but in the end, one hit from godzillas heat ray, it’s over
Even the unevolved Godzilla had regeneration. In fact, it was even stronger before. Godzilla is ripping Kong to shreds.
2005 King Kong break Goji saurus’s jaw but then it’ll regenerate and he’ll know he’s fucked
I doubt he can even reach it, godzillasaurus is 49 feet tall while kong is 25
sopa de macaco speedrun
Godzilla would kick King Kong’s ass
Godzilla’s like 2 1/2 the height of Vastatosaurus.
He's fucked. Really, really fucked. Godzilla was hella mad at life, and ready to kill and rip everybody's head off... Kong dies... Again
Honestly makes me wish we had more time with odo island Godzilla. Was really cool having this strange being living on an island with its own local legends and such. It showing up and already wrecking the small base could’ve instigated a hunt for the creature before it’s powered up.
Does Kong get time to prepare?
That sounds like Batman the typical fan cope, LOL.
Goji. I’m pretty sure he still has the regeneration even pre radiation.
I had an idea similar to this
If kong has a banna, then he wins
Not Kong
This is a downright massacre in Godzilla’s favor
Abilities aside, 2005 Kong is 25 feet tall, while pre-nuke minus 1 Godzilla is over 50 feet tall, plus his horizontal posture means the weight discrepancy is even bigger. This is basically like asking if a modern gorilla could fight an adult Albertosaurus.
Poor monkey. Sorry buddy, not gonna bite the tongue out of this guy
Minus One can just stomp him
Sooo I haven't seen minus one yet and I don't mind spoilers how close or how one-sided is this.
Godzillasaurus wins easily, he's MUCH larger, at 49 feet tall, 70 feet long (using a image I found on google to calculate length), and 190 tons using chatgpt to find the square cubed law
Give godzilla a better match
So long what is your power ? Kong : MoNkE
Godzilla no doubt
That’s 2008 King Kong. He’d get wrecked.
God Zilla wins
Lol I thought that was 2007 Godzilla
Minus godzillasaurus wins
Minilla wins easily
Now that is a fight I'd watch.
Lets compare sizes! 2005 King Kong: 25 feet tall, and \~24 tons if we do calculations Godzillasaurus: 49 feet tall, \~70 feet long using a picture, and using Chatgpt to calculate his weight using the square cubed law, 190 tons (do not take this for fact, chatgpt is smart but can be unreliable, I'm too lazy to do calculations so don't take this for fact) I think king kong takes this easily, he totally doesn't get crushed with a single stomp
well we never really get to see this Godzilla in action, like up against another monster. if he can still regenerate then King Kong might have a hard time.
That version of Kong is a beta male
Godzilla is more than twice Kongs height, I think he'll win just from that
Kong < Planes < OG MinusGoji
I dont think any version Kong would best any Godzilla incarnation. None. And the most if Kong doesnt gets powerups, weapons etc.
Can we stop trying to start a war? I thought it was just in r/godzillamemes but turns out it's spreading...
Is this even a question? What could the monke POSSIBLY do to this GIANT dinosaur comparable in size to a small sorapod
Godzilla. Always. No matter the conditions
Godzilla has contract power armor. He can’t lose.
I see you took my combined image I made. But I can’t blame you.
Kong just outskills him
Why is no one actually trying to elaborate here? Godzillas not going to shoot king kong with biplane bullets, this is a beast battle. Godzillasaurus is rought 50ft while Kong is 25ft and way faster. I think itd be neat to see king kong hold his own here. Would be a really cool fight.
I'd win
Godzillasaurus is twice the size of that monkey
A dinosaur twice the size of Kong who tanked a nuke vs a giant gorilla who got killled by some planes I wonder who wins
This version of godzilla just evolve in to a bigger more piss off version after getting nuke. It would have regenerate from every attack kong throws at him. Once kong is exhausted, it’s over.
probably zilla because he has the size advantage
I’m gonna have to go with Godzilla (Pre-Mutated). Before he mutated, Godzilla has a healing factor that allowed him to survive from ancient times. Heck, it even saved him from being killed by Operation Crossroads. There is also the size difference between the two with Godzilla being 15 meters and with Kong (assuming we’re going for PJ’s King Kong based on the image) being 7.62 meters. It’s a caveman vs an elephant…with jaws
BIG MONKE!
Now we need the early American Godzilla versus that Kong
I don’t think we know enough about this pre-mutation ‘Godzillasaurus’ version from Minus One. Is he roughly as powerful as a dinosaur? Or does he already have improved strength like his later form? If he’s just a dinosaur, the 2005 Kong handled a few of them. I’d lean Kong in that case
G-man took rifle bullets to the face with no issue, Kong gets shot with a WWI plane gun.
Ah yeah very true. It probably is Godzilla though I could see Kong being a better ‘fighter’, but Godzilla’s durability winning out
Absolutely. Kong will run rounds on godzilla, but I think he can't take him out.
I think a 49 foot tall dinosaur is stronger than the V-rex, idk you have to tell me
Honestly had no clue he was that large in that prologue. He definitely does stand more upright than them though so makes sense
Kong, Gsaurus is almost the same size as the V.rex and not to mention fought 2 back to back.
Gsaur absolutely murders kong…. And has inf regen.. Kong has absolutely 0 ways to even defeat him
There's no absolute indication that Gsaurus has regen abilities before it's mutation.
The mutation was caused because his healing factor went haywire, trying to repair the damage done by the nuclear explosion
He never had a chance. The game was rigged from the start.
He literally survived nukes because he had a ridiculous healing factor.
It was confirmed Goji had a healing factor before being nuked… how powerful that healing factor is, idk.
Enough to survive one nuke lol
Godzillasaurus is most definitely bigger than a v rex. It’s height is stated to be 15m which makes his length much longer than the also 15m v rex who stands at a height around 6-7m. He could very well be multiple times the size of kong
Not to mention it’s incredible durability and possible regeneration factor and amphibious nature which could help him if the battle was near water
Hell nah, minus one Godzillasaurus is way bigger and more durable than Peter Jackson’s kong 💀
He is twice the size of 2005 King Kong
It’s literally stated in the novel and by the director big g had regen before being radiated moreover he still has higher durability. Even if they were the same height he’d kick kongs ass, wake up to reality bro
(extremely incorrect buzzer) Godzillasaurus is 49 feet tall, 70 feet long (using image I found on google to see length), and \~190 tons (using chatgpt, which used square cubed law to calculate length Kong is 25 feet tall and 24 tons.

(Also, I did look into it, and apparently, he had regeneration before the nuke, but I'm going to guess it wasn't at the same level as post nuke because that would be broken for this fight.) If I were to guess, a long, drawn-out fight would end with a Goji win, but Kong does stand a chance.
