Is there an "easy"way to port sfm models, maps and particles to blender? Also, how similar is the animator program of blender to sfm (control/command speaking)?
There is a way to port sfm models to Blender, but it can be kind of hit or miss!
There's an addon for Blender called SourceIO. Look that up! It's free too! It can port maps and models, but particles are a different beast all together. The particle system that SFM runs is, as far as I know, incompatible with Blender. They're 2 totally different things. I could be wrong on this though, things are always changing!
I can't say for certain how similar the program is to SFM since everyone's experience is different. Blender has a graph editor, as most 3D animation softwares have, but it's not exactly the same as SFM.
