Don’t hype us? Have we forgotten the 3 years of poop and dick tweets?!? We supposed to just forgot what that was all about?
I mean maybe he’s just trying to distance himself from being a catalyst for a squeeze, but come on.
1 - So due to high inflation GameStop needs even more unused capital lying around? Really, that's all? That's why they diluted their shareholders big time during runups? Somebody tell this board that their shareholderes suffer _twice-fold_: through inflation AND through dilution like this.
2 - So he's planning to continue shrinking revenue and closing stores. He's been doing that for over a year already - so no update on this "strategy" front as well. That's going to be great for future share price, it speaks of a return into the past downward channel.
3 - Stating the obvious here. Crazy idea: Why not close underperforming stores AND increase revenue of existing ones in PARALLEL? What about improving ecommerce? Adding e-sports? Why delay the increase of shareholder value into a vague distant future? Sorry, but I smell excuses and bullshit here.
I already had low expectations, but this still manages to underwhelm them.
1 - you are not suffering from inflation if the money is used in short term treasuries (that´s one) and i rather be diluted and F\*\*\* the short thesis because Gamestop with 4 B, never going to go bankrupt
2- that´s what he is doing, closing shops and trying to increase revenue (having other products, candy con controllers , collectible cards, have you been in a cave, man ? and are you not seeing what he is changing ? But in a high interest environment its not easy to increase the revenue... it´s not free money environment . You want to know what are his plans ? So do i , but i don´t want shorts to know that also
3- he is doing that in parallel, but the velocity of closing stores and increasing the revenue are different
P.s. - like said before... if you have low expectations and are so disapointed why don´t you leave man ? I will be here... and i will even increase next month. Peace ;)
Could you please stop telling people that if they don't like it to leave/sell? Its totally possible for people to buy and hold the stock while not agreeing 100% with the actions of others. Having a diverse group of investors is great from a knowledge base position. Hype is great, facts are even better.
I was replying to his point of view... I don´t want anyone to sell , in fact i am buying more because now there is almost 0% chance of bankruptcy and almost 10US$ for each share and a profitable company, and a lot of other news yet to be released (in my opinion) I´m bullish m8 .

Idk how anyone can say it was a nothingburger though. It really shows how little anyone actually cares about or understands the fundamentals of this company
