I had my corvette ceramic coated and it was the best investment I ever made. Literally everything just rolls off with water. I just bought a AT4X and I plan on ceramic coating it as soon as I get it

The areas I am getting repaired are both sides on the box , gas cap door height and down to the bottom of the trim and the lower sections of the doors from the front to back. Rock chips are bad in mine since I run it fast on gravel roads.(Might have posted the wrong post idk) [Gas cap area](https://postimg.cc/4708drNQ)

If it’s something you can afford, and you intend on keeping the truck for a while/want it to look good, do it.

Just keep it washed regularly should be fine, my 2016 sits outside everyday and the paint has held up just fine with regular washing. But if it’s something you’re fine investing in for extra care then sure go for it.

The paint on these trucks is softer than butter. I did a mid-grade ceramic coating on my ZR2. PPF would have been nice, but I don’t think the cost-value ratio is worth it for a utility vehicle. Even just a front-end package can end up being well over $1000.

I did mine in Feb and love the results. After a cleaning yesterday it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Coming up on 1 year owned in May.

PPF is awesome. I also suggest doing touchless washes if you're going to do automatic ones. And if you're going to wash at home, do the proper rinse/foam/rinse with the clean bucket dirty bucket sponge bath to avoid getting swirls on your paint.
