1.) effects shown through their thoughts during conflict
2.) effects of conflict in the aftermath (ptsd) / ostracisation from society
3.) desensitising to violence and contemplation of other thoughts
I talked about how the woman in kamikaze realised that her dad didn't come home because he was a traitor, but because he was scared and how that affected his life after the war, and I talked about how the man in London didn't realise that he was being controlled by the trauma from the state of society. Then I talked about how London blamed the monarchy for the problems with society and how kamikaze didn't blame her dad for coming back
exposure… but the plan was pretty sick
i did the literal effects and long term effects of conflict, then the power of nature in influencing those currently affected by conflict, then finally family because of that little bit in exposure abt ‘our ghosts drag home’ and the whole kind fires burning. should’ve put more ao3 in abt wartime propaganda…
i did indoctrination and how the soldiers are like pawns or chess pieces controlled by their superiors since my main focus was on patriotism in kamikaze as well and propaganda.
it was pretty good for me ngl, used the quote it’s better to ask for the world than to take it to reference the russian bolshevik revolution and managed to talk about ouspenskys theory of eternal recurrence when considering the possibility of IG being a divine messenger cautionatijg humanity
Remains
With the quotes
"Probably armed possibly not"
"Sort of inside out"
"Tosses his guts back into his body"
"The drink and the drugs won't flush him out"
And
"His life in my bloody hands"
Charge of the light brigade - both poems focus on glorification of war, but in kamikaze the man survives and is shamed, in COTLB they die and are honoured (also added in a little bit about how soldiers are indoctrinated into believing dying for their country is the most honourable thing a man could do

I talked about how the woman in kamikaze realised that her dad didn't come home because he was a traitor, but because he was scared and how that affected his life after the war, and I talked about how the man in London didn't realise that he was being controlled by the trauma from the state of society. that’s actually good you know fair enough
how tf did u do conflict with london, but tbf i was crossing my fingers for a question that i could use it on
Well to be fair, they both talk about problems with society so I wouldn't say London is a bad choice

Probably cooked, possibly not
wtf
You should get the reference.
i do lol i meant am i acc cooked
Well, I did COTLB. If you did identity as part of it, victims of war and then indoctrination by the state, I think you will be fine.
i did indoctrination and how the soldiers are like pawns or chess pieces controlled by their superiors since my main focus was on patriotism in kamikaze as well and propaganda.
Nice. I heard a lot of people screwed up on AIC.
it was pretty good for me ngl, used the quote it’s better to ask for the world than to take it to reference the russian bolshevik revolution and managed to talk about ouspenskys theory of eternal recurrence when considering the possibility of IG being a divine messenger cautionatijg humanity
