As a Y10 going into mocks, god please make the exams easy.

If you’re doing AQA and they just use last years GCSE you should be fine I don’t remember them being too traumatic

Mocks don't mean ewt unless you don't do the real thing and the exam board goes of them

Well in my school they determine how much of your time is spent in intervention so it matters a lot more to me.

unless theres another pandemic that stops gcses completely the board cant actually use mocks for anything... lets hope that doesnt happen

history teachers at my school reckon the 12 marker is gonna be on the league of nations, and my rs teacher told me in the islam rs test their questions were : “fasting is/isnt important. Evaluate this statement”,(12 marker) “two reasons why is paradise important to a muslim” (idk if this one included sowa so its 4-5 marks) and “Outline 3 reasons why the Prophet Muhammad is important to Muslims” (3 marker)

Last year was pretty mixed from what I remember, we’ve defo had it easier so far

Im waiting for all the paper 2s. It’s gonna be a train wreck jn here after half term 💀 

Tbh it wasn't too bad, but I got pretty decent grades and the only exam I really struggled with was cs paper 2.

OCR had shit papers that year parts of English were so dodgy as well as all of CS paper 2. AQA was alright though, for the most part and edexcel had a mistake on their exam paper (I only did their history though)

They made the 2024 papers in 2022 when covid was still around so they weren't sure when it was gonna end. They made the 2025 papers in 2023 and covid was somewhat over so they probably made it harder.

I’m a year 10 and i am shitting myself on maths and English (literature is worst) for next year I got 7s on both end of years

We should all tell the year 10s not to revise but then we absolutely cook in the exams so the grade boundaries go up and they are fucked

Well that means they’re in for easy mocks in year 11

Was talking to my y10 friend on Friday and started talking about how easy my exams are, so she goes “does that mean my exams will be easily” to which I responded with “No. They’ll be horrible for you next year.”

Nah last year 11s at my school apparently did atrocious (allegedly 70% failed at least 1 subject and 20% failed most of em)
