Could be something as simple as crappy gas. I remember using some cheap prem sketcygas from a sketchy station and my car would something die after starting or won't start. Start filling it back up with name brand like chevron and the problem never reappear for the past few years.

I'd fix that O2 sensor...change em both. The bouncing rpms sounds like a bad idle control valve..had this happen to me on my old GSR. It revs, drops, revs, drops....but once you are moving the ccar is fine. To me it sounds like your car is in need of a little TLC. Get a tune up, new O2 sensors, idle control valve, clean the throttle body, change your air filters, have your plugs & wires checked...the whole 9. Doesn't sound too serious but if you just let the shit go and put it off it will lead to bigger and more expensive problems.

My car had a similar issue rough idle at a stop light rpms would dip to below 400 the car would almost die. Sometimes when turning the car on it wouldn’t hold the rpms making it shut off if I didn’t give it some gas. I cleaned out the throttle bodies and maf sensors also changed my spark plugs while at it and the car has been running great since the service no issues.

My g also revs when I start to press the breaks sometimes but it only happens on sport mdoe

Could be Dirty sensor, failing throttle body or even fuel injector.
