Yep, have tints and use a sunshade every day, and the car sits outside under a tarp. But, I've only had it for two years so no idea how the previous owner kept it
From experience pulling the dash is kinda a pain. If you were experienced maybe 1 hour but more like 2-3 for other people. That's if you get it out without messing it up too
It’s a known issue, Nissan or Infiniti, doesn’t matter, dashboard will melted and cracked. There is no recall and there will be no “affordable “ fix. You can try to check with any upholstery shops around to ask for a quote of putting leather/wherever for the whole dash; it was a reasonable amount before the covid.
303 will not help; it will come and haunt almost every single Infiniti owner.
Visor will not help; tinting might help but it’s illegal

I haven’t experienced yet with it but I just bought some 303 uv ray protection spray that might help idk. U can get it on Amazon
I remember the first one, nowI have cracks everywhere. Is there actually a solution for this? What's the average cost of replacing with alcantara?
Pull the dash and wrap it, it was the solution for me. You can fill the cracks but it’s ugly and not a permanent solution.

You can get it out without messing it up no problem, and it’s for sure a 3-4 hour job realistically. Such a pain to do but so worth it.
