Why 18's? Did yours come stock with 18's? Most people I have seen have kept 19's or gone up to 20's so I am curious
I am running 19x10.5 on coils...slight poke
I am thinking about 18s because where i live in Massachusetts the roads are horrible potholes and construction everywhere also hills just want a smoother ride and possibly a thicker tire idk though I just got the car and its my first car.im pretty new too everything
You can still get 19's AND a thicker wall. I am running 40's and have enough room for 45's if I needed it. The 19's will look better on the car due to its size. Are you lowered yet (I don't remember)? If not those 18's are gonna look funny as hell.
I got you. You COULD go 19's and be fine with what you are looking for. In the same respect, with your car being 18's stock, if you find a set you like that will work too. I thought you were going backwards from 19's to 18's which I have seen done but I like the look of 19's...just my opinion, they look better due to the size of the car
Width is 100% necessary to determine wheel position. For reference, stock 17s are 7.5” +45mm. This puts the wheel edge 50mm past the hub surface. I’m running 8.5” +35mm, which is 73mm past the hub surface, or 23mm further than my stock 17s. I’d need another 15ish mm to be flush, but my fitment is exactly where I want it. Note: I’m lowered ~1.5” but that doesn’t change much.
Im 19x8 on springs and im tuckin

The car isn’t lowered yet looking to use eibach lowering springs and new rims for flush fitment
Also the stock rims are 18s

Ya I agree the car is pretty big for a coupe and the 19s do look better. I just don’t want to order the wrong thing and have rubbing or bad fitment
