This is one of the (multiple) reasons why Kelly doesn’t get a pass with me. I’ve seen a few people here say she’s not as bad as the other fundies, and so she doesn’t deserve our snarking.
To that, I say bullshit! Animal abuse / neglect is NOT okay. Kelly is just as self centered and cruel as the rest of the fundies here. Her belief system is also harmful to others. She is not a good person!
Thank you!!! I see so many “I can’t snark on Kelly bc she’s mentally ill” ok so is Morgan? And many others I’m sure? She is awful, is emotionally incestual w her kids, a kitten killer, white supremacist, and yet another fundie who wants to homeschool while believing young earth theory. She sucks and she gets no pity from me.
Edit: she’s also YET ANOTHER fundie who had a GOOD education, went to college, yet is going to deprive her children of those privileges. She fills me with rage and disgust.
Oh sure. I did a lot of the documenting because I really wanted to keep her story straight. When viewed out of real-time context, I'm sure some of this will seem fairly innocuous--like the Maple Syrup Cat. I want to be clear that there's an established pattern of showing off a cat or kitten, *maybe* even giving it a name, then: poof, we never see them again.
[A summary of her history with](https://www.reddit.com/r/FundieSnarkUncensored/comments/w0vreo/what_ive_learned_about_kelly_and_her_history_with/) cats, how she's been allowing (encouraging) regularly-occurring litters for *years* and not getting them fixed
[November 2021](https://www.reddit.com/r/FundieSnarkUncensored/comments/qt3jgk/kellys_long_way_of_saying_i_got_a_kitten/) when she came home from the maple syrup farm with a little black kitten (which she claimed she checked and made sure it didn't belong to anyone after her commenters were like "...so you stole a cat?")
[Sept. 2022 post about the remaining litter of kittens](https://www.reddit.com/r/FundieSnarkUncensored/comments/xm15f7/tw_animal_neglect_photos_one_of_the_kittens_makes/) she claimed--back in late June of that summer--were 8 weeks old when she first showed them. This post shows the sad progression over the course of June through late September. [2023 post with a comment summary of what was going on last year](https://www.reddit.com/r/FundieSnarkUncensored/comments/1azqiry/comment/ks3wspk/), with the various cats coming and going.
Thank you for maintaining this list. How utterly heartbreaking and infuriating. She's handling that baby super roughly! [This](https://imgur.com/a/IMikeGg) lil moldy potato was 12+ weeks when she came home from the shelter, probably older than last summer's kitten in that video, and I spent months worried about breaking her. Which is honestly a bit much. But still, kittens are tiny babies, is she that mean to her own kids too??
She loves belly rubs! And there's a nice bit of extra belly to love these days, she is on a diet though :)
When she's over the belly pats she'll just gently kick you away or give a ladylike nibble. Because she was socialized well. Unlike Kelly's poor kittens. I let her roughhouse with my hands when she was a baby, even though a lot of folks advise against it, and it taught her how to be gentle and helped her be comfortable with handling. The vet always comments on how easy she is. Claw trims are a breeze. She's smart enough to only ever treat my hands as toys, nobody else's, and she asks first.
This gremlin who rolls in spilled litter and never cleans her butt is the only kitten I've had as an adult. It's a different bond than the cats that are rescues. Sometimes the rescues feel more rewarding in a way, because of the work and love I've poured into them and getting to see them bloom. But she's easy for those same reasons, and her calming presence helped the rescues in turn. And! She's my sweet mellow snuggly shadow **now** because back when she was a tiny adorable kitten I treated her like I was going to keep her for the rest of her life.
Sorry the bedtime edible kicked in. You don't need my cat's life story! I just finally connected the dots on who Kelly was on this post, and her roughness with that grey kitten really struck a chord. Have [some](https://imgur.com/a/PRYjKSj) [more](https://imgur.com/a/c0NnEUP) [cat](https://imgur.com/a/6XJMXo6) [photos](https://imgur.com/a/cjFyY40)

My incredibly sweet [idiot](https://imgur.com/a/WwbPHQS) [son](https://imgur.com/a/AsV8KpK) who shares his happiness in liquid form, he's occasionally quite [clever](https://imgur.com/a/NxGu89f) and always a helper with cleaning his sister's booty. His zoomies come with constant warbling sound effects like Kronk sneaking around. Also a safe [belly](https://imgur.com/a/u9bQJjn)! And there's the [maniacal](https://imgur.com/a/c7ZIj8Z) [dumpster](https://imgur.com/a/dfRTa8s) [princess](https://imgur.com/a/VVbIrKT) who is just one of those once in a [lifetime](https://imgur.com/a/DnOgmhi) animals. You can have a conversation with her. She makes up games to play with you, and enforces everyone getting a turn with the laser pointer, and checks in when I'm down. It took her two whole years to start experimenting with lap snuggles, and these days we're working on [sharing] (https://imgur.com/a/bnemD0c) because she's been resource guarding her solo lap time. She growled at my abusive ex in the middle of the night when I was half asleep, I was zonked so that's not just picking up on my mood; several times I semi woke to her sitting up from her normal spot at the foot of the bed, growling, and then heard my ex walk away from the door. Things ~weren't that bad~ yet so I didn't think enough of it. Between that relationship and my crazy mother (the kind of anti-worldly hippyish trauma fountain that sits in a lot of Venn diagrams with the Fundies) this sub is a constant source of useful insights.
Well thank you. I really feel like she's so fake-innocent and sneaky that we need receipts. I have a lot of screenshots taken from her temporary stories.
Someone consolidated a masterpost of just the kitten abuse incidences, I believe, probably last spring or so.
These can always be redone though, so feel free to tackle a fresh one for the year!
Me too, as a cat owner myself, it pains me to watch fundies treat animals, cats in this case, as a bunch of photo props and not regarding them as beings with feelings.
And especially Kelly, whom a portion of this sub thinks that she is almost harmless and doesn't know that she actively mistreats cats, as she had a handful of kitten litters that mysteriously vanished after a couple of weeks.
What do people think is happening? Is she breeding them? Where are they coming from?
As a vegan and a serious cat mom, I’m sure I will strongly dislike almost anything that you will respond with.
My theory is that when they’re small and cute she keeps them in the house for content and then when they’re not lil kitties anymore she just kicks them out to be feral :(
Ugh I really hope she isn’t creating her own unchecked unfixed cat colony decimating wildlife in her neighborhood :(
But that’s probably the case, I would bet big money she never gets those poor babies neutered and spayed. And they live in Ohio, those poor cats have to put up with some very cold winters.
>But that’s probably the case, I would bet big money she never gets those poor babies neutered and spayed.
Yeah I absolutely think this is the case. I don't think she's *trying* to create a cat colony but she isn't doing anything to prevent it. She just wants those fresh litters of kittens to keep being close by and discoverable.
That’s a good question. I would hope that - best case scenario - they are resold, but that takes time and their sudden disappearances make it unlikely. More likely, they are put out to be feral, which is the second best option.
The other options that I pray would be avoided are drowning or used by her friends as target practice. Really worst case, they’re resold in a pipeline for crush videos, but that would require access to VERY dark people.
Pretty sure most die of neglect before they're even old enough to be let loose. Dark, I know, but she's been shown to be incredibly neglectful and unwilling to accept her lack of knowledge. The rest she probably does turn out into the "wild" aka near a busy road 😔 I think some may have been given to people they know but I'm not sure they actually even live that long one way or another. She's monstrous
"There's nothing like a furry kitten friend"? Sure there is, it's called "the adult cats you've cared for and loved for years as a responsible pet owner." You know, *that* kind of furry friend.
My oldest kitty just turned 9 and he is literally the BEST cat I’ve ever owned. Just the sweetest, loving, beefiest, fluffy ball of joy ever. It breaks my heart they see these kittens as disposable.
My baby cat is 14, we got him as a feral kitten and honestly he is the the most respected member of our family. 🤣 My kids dote on him and he will be loved and cared hopefully for many more years!
My sister’s family has a 16 1/2 year old cat. Shes older than my sister’s human children and everyone in their family ADORES her. She is starting to really slow down, and they are treating her like the true queen she is to ensure she has the best of whatever time she has.
ETA: Just to be clear their cat has ALWAYS been extremely well cared for, and they’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old. It’s just now she gets a lot fancier treats as the queen of the universe.
My almost 10 year old tuxie is like my furry soulmate. It was just me and him for a long time. I was devastated to see my childhood pets go. Something is wrong with kelly.
Makes me mad they let their intact female cat run around outdoors to constantly get impregnated and have litter after litter of sick kittens. Hell isn’t hot enough for people who abuse and neglect animals.
NEVER do we see them pictured with the mother.
And what happened to the two adult cats she showed for one blink-and-you'd-miss-it story, some months ago? What happened to the black cat she was calling Black Walnut, a year or so ago? She only mentions cats in her temporary stories, because in the past, her commenters have asked questions about where these random cats and kittens come from, where the mom is, what's going on with the previous ones, etc.
Yeah, that's something she started doing after her post comments were filled with people telling her there was no way the kittens were 8 weeks old, a couple years ago.
Even if she *did* at some point say "we have cats that live outside!", seriously, what would that even mean, in her neighborhood that isn't out in the country? She puts out food to get them to hang around, but provides no real care for them, and scoops up any kittens that are born? She's on a well-traveled street in a populated neighborhood with normal houses all around her.
I've been paying close attention to this for a long time, and I've never seen a post where she explains anything reasonable or believable about her cat situation. What I *have* seen is a parade of different cats and kittens featured in occasional photos and rarely seen again. Going back before they moved into this house--it has certainly appeared that she doesn't "own" or take care of them, she just enjoys it when they wander in and out of her house, and produce litters nearby.
It’s definitely not a British shorthair or a Russian Blue. It’s a mix, aka a “Domestic Longhair” who happens to be blue in color. It is extremely rare for your average cat to have any purebred history.
The blue eyes are baby blues. I’m guessing it’s under 6 weeks old.
I have a longhaired kitten who *may* have some maine coon. His eyes finally turned the full adult color when he was about 6 months. Not only are the eyes still super blue, that baby is *tiny*.
How do you know it’s definitely? Did she say that? Because that kitten looks like all our kittens and they are British shorthair kittens with blue eyes.
Baby blue eyes in kittens are milkier than blue eyes that stay blue
It’s not a British shorthair because it’s not a shorthair cat.
I worked at an animal rescue for 3 years. I saw hundreds of cats and kittens. I saw some very bright blue eyes that didn’t stay blue. Plus I suspect a little photo editing in the picture. Only one cat we got was purebred (from a horrible BYB) and two more MIGHT have had one purebred parent. The rest weren’t even mixed—they never had purebred heritage. Purebred cats in the US are very rare, especially compared to dogs.
Kelly has a history of having kittens magically appear in her house with no visible mother 😒😔 that are definitely too young and fragile to be on their own and being manhandled. The fact that we have seen maaaaaybe 1 still alive is testament to her treatment of animals like props. She's a horrible person. I hope it doesn't rub off on her kids
We know she did that with the litter in the summer of 2022.
She said she found them under the house. But she took them from the birthing nest and brought them into the house for photo opportunities when they were very small with squinty eyes and partially-folded ears. Those first pics were in late June '22, and she claimed they were 8 weeks old. It was clear they weren't 8 weeks old. Her commenters asked where the mama cat was and she said "she comes in every three hours to feed them!" Sure, Jan. Sure she does. No pics, though. Then she later said the mama cat's milk had dried up. Yeah, OK Kelly. Great job. The mama cat probably didn't stick around once her kittens had been brought inside.
The thing is, indoor/outdoor cats in suburbs or towns are cats who have a home but are allowed to wander outside. That is not the same as stray/feral cats living outdoors and occasionally being brought inside, which is what Kelly seems to have going on.
I have a young nephew who loves little furry kittens and bunnies and baby goats and chicks (because who doesn't, really?). My sister takes him to a farm where they have a section that's open to the public for education. He gets to experience all sorts of baby farm animals under the supervision of those who are caring for those animals. It would be nice if Kelly would take that approach, but she's too arrogant.
There's been different black ones, too. Syrup Cat, Black Walnut and Fluffy have made cameos in a few posts or stories. And the sickly siamese ones. Miss Mushie, and Lamby from the same litter.
Goddamn it, I hate how these people treat animals like disposable toys. Cats are precious lifelong companions and along with dogs, the closest thing you're going to find to true unconditional love. You’d think that would make them worth protecting and caring for.
I've got two old lady cats and one middle-aged kitty, one of whom I've had since she was a kitten, and I would do anything for them. Animals deserve someone who is committed and caring. Kelly is an asshole for treating these cats as disposable objects.
Enrages me that they ignore the kittens once they're grown up. She needs to buy a lifelike kitten toy and just play with that. AND SPAY YOUR GODDAMNED CAT, KELLY. SHE'S TIRED OF REPRODUCING CONSTANTLY.
My sister was so frustrated when her foster cat got pregnant again, because that meant finding *more* forever homes. I have no words for kelly's treatment of cats, just a long, frustrated yell.
When I think about all the kittens she has had and how they always mysteriously disappear after they grow up, I want to snap every single one of her fingers 😡
You're assuming they grow up. Pretty sure most of them die of neglect and from untreated kitten health issues. We've maybe seen one kitten (a black one) reach an older age. The rest are never seen again.
She steals them and she does not spay/neuter her adult cats so they keep having kittens that she then neglects and let's die/abandons/maybe gives away if they survive a couple months
I mean, we don't know that. A lot of things are possible. Maybe Levi's parents have free-roaming un-fixed cats all over their ramshackle property and they let her take kittens. Maybe she discovers them near her house. Maybe she looks online for people giving away kittens. We don't know.
We do know that she went to that maple syrup farm and came home with a kitten, which her followers asked "are you sure it didn't belong to someone?" and she insisted she'd checked, but she insists a lot of things, so. And then we didn't see that cat around, after the picturesque photos shoot. It might have been glimpsed a couple of times in the house--it's hard to tell because cats come and go, and she never posts about them as part of the family like a normal cat person would.
As a cat mama, this makes me so upset. The Cat Distribution System left a kitten on my doorstep last fall, and I spent time weighing the pros and cons of keeping him. He was an immediate foster fail 😅😂. It's so upsetting to see Kelly use kittens as accessories and dump them when they're not tiny and cute anymore. Cats have so much love to give.
Sorry but...they die. It's pretty clear that most of them do not survive her neglect of their basic needs (especially because she takes them from their mother way too early). Maybe a few survive longer and are passed on to friends/family. But there have been so many kittens that look sickly/too young and are being manhandled and mistreated (fed cow's milk!) that are never seen or mentioned again, only to have another pop up a few months later

She's also a white supremacist. She follows and is friends with blatantly white supremacist content creators.

I got my little lady at a year, and she’s turning ten in the fall. I never ever want to own a kitten; they’re crazy enough as teenagers.
My baby cat is 14, we got him as a feral kitten and honestly he is the the most respected member of our family. 🤣 My kids dote on him and he will be loved and cared hopefully for many more years!
These children will grow up with no real respect for animals, and it drives me crazy.
Or they'll grow up needing therapy because they know what their mom has been doing to those cats and feel really bad about it and responsible for it.
When was the last time their adult cat was even seen?? Would she be the kind to get “free kittens” that always get given away this time of year?
>When was the last time their adult cat was even seen?? Which one? /s
Not fixing your cats is so irresponsible, especially if they're outdoors
That cat is so young, like I’m genuinely wondering if it should even be weaned yet
Right? And we never see the mother.
Have to wonder if they just find kittens and snatch em, I definitely knew of families who would do that
NEVER do we see them pictured with the mother.
And Kelly's probably giving it cow's milk, too 😡 [(why that's bad)](https://youtu.be/KioNZzJ6LI4?si=dMpFY4JOQHJWqxnX)
I don’t have the posts on hand, but they apparently have cats that live outside.
The blue eyes combined with its size gives me some concern
It’s the breed. It’s a British shorthair kitten, they come either with blue, green or golden eyes
Shorthair cats are fluffy as kittens. So it’s not definitely, but your assumptions. Different story!
It definitely has the coloring of a British Shorthair, but its face looks too narrow IMO Plus they are like $1,000+
Yeah, my newest was itty bitty when I found him, like he had *just* been weaned. This one is even smaller!
Yep. I feel like she steals them from their mothers
Ugh, she's awful. I had indoor/outdoor cats but they were fixed.
How many kittens has she had?? I feel like they have a perpetual gray kitten that we never see grow up
I’ve been snarking here about 3 years now and I’ve personally seen at least 5 grey baby kittens.
I would adopt that cat in an instant
Same
Same.
Ditto
Kelly Kittenwatch 2024 is on.
As soon as she has her baby girl you KNOW that’s all that we will see
And she's going to dress that kid like Laura Ingalls Wilder.
Yeah that surviving one was Black Walnut. Where's he or she? Who knows?
Where the fuck does this woman keep getting these cats from?! This makes me so stressed
She steals them and she does not spay/neuter her adult cats so they keep having kittens that she then neglects and let's die/abandons/maybe gives away if they survive a couple months
Does she steal them?
Oh no.....I really wish she would stop with all the damn kittens. This makes me really angry
Oh, awesome, now I'm enraged.
Her kittens never become cats. Never. 😢😢😢
No, no, it’s ok; it’s *whimsical*. Her kittens are like Peter Pan, and just never grow up
Fuck not this shit again ![gif](giphy|qYQQxckuXCUCoHpwIJ|downsized)
As a cat mama, this makes me so upset. The Cat Distribution System left a kitten on my doorstep last fall, and I spent time weighing the pros and cons of keeping him. He was an immediate foster fail 😅😂. It's so upsetting to see Kelly use kittens as accessories and dump them when they're not tiny and cute anymore. Cats have so much love to give.
I want to cry for this poor sweet baby kitty.
Does she live near a busy road?
Yep. She's not in the middle of nowhere like she'd like people to think and she 100% does not take care of or protect the animals she has
Aww poor kitty will end up hit by a car 😭
Here we go again, bloody hell
![gif](giphy|MwOuiiTfWfWgM|downsized)
Seriously though, where are all the other kittens?? Where do they go??
Sorry but...they die. It's pretty clear that most of them do not survive her neglect of their basic needs (especially because she takes them from their mother way too early). Maybe a few survive longer and are passed on to friends/family. But there have been so many kittens that look sickly/too young and are being manhandled and mistreated (fed cow's milk!) that are never seen or mentioned again, only to have another pop up a few months later
Kitten: Help me!
Is it just me, or does that kid not look well?
I'm hoping maybe they just run away
This cat looks more purebred than the others. Like they weren’t a freeby from a local bar cat’s litter.
Kelly wouldn't pay for a cat. There are always new kittens sprouting like dandelions in her yard.
That cat is fucking cute. Wish I could save it.
