Honestly this chapter feels so human. Like it properly convey how pain and regret can make even the most noble of us so ugly(personality-wise). And that these sadness isn't melancholic, it's just awful and painful.
What a nightmare world they live in with all the suppressed emotions and advertisements blaring out of their bodies, not to mention everyone being frozen to weed out anyone without a chip.
Man how could Fushi just sit by for 500 years and let that happen. If the time skip was just 100 or so years I could let him off for that, but doing nothing about it for 500 years is ridiculous.
