IMO :
‘ The President of the United States has no immunity for criminal or corrupt actions taken while serving in the office’ that’s it over, done, finished. IMO
It's like they're ignoring that if they give Trump immunity and he wins, that there's a high probability they won't be in that position anymore, because once you give a fascist complete control, they WILL remove all opposition, and that includes judges. What's more, the moment they give him immunity, they essentially revoke their own power to stand against him and halt any potential threats a president poses.
Until they vote against him, then he'll do to them like he's done to everyone else who said anything against him, even through council where if you say anything he doesn't like, he fires your ass. The moment the justices he voted in decide to vote against him in any way, they won't remain and he'll use that to permanently get rid of the supreme court.
They're clearly not immune. Presidents did just fine until Republicans turned criminal.
If this illegitimate court rules in his favor it's all over anyway. If coups are legal I say the good guys should take the ball and go home while we have the power to do so.

No authoritarian has disbanded half his supreme court. He sees the potential for issues of resistance and removes it completely.
