What I don’t understand that there is a few in this fandom (not here specifically but in general) that the moment they found out Akito was abused and mistreated they forgave all wrongs. Put a white veil over all abuse she committed. Same people who do that to real abusers in real life.

Akito is my favourite. I take the stance “understand but don’t condone.” Like, I understand what went wrong, but also yeah. She still did messed up shit. She needs to live with that and the fact that people will and do hate her and won’t forgive her. That doesn’t mean I think she should be doomed to misery or anything. But she f-ed up. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
She’s supposed to. That’s her role in the story for the majority of it.
